Claims (11)

1. Vorrichtung zur Flüssigkeitsstrahlbehandlung für die selektive Aufbringung einer Flüssigkeit an vorgegebenen Stellen quer zu einer Maschinenvorschubrichtung auf ein Aufnahmesubstrat, während dieses in Längsrichtung quer zu der Querrichtung läuft, wobei die Vorrichtung von dem Typ ist, der aufweist (a) eine Quelle von unter Druck stehender Behandlungsflüssigkeit (10), die einen vorgegebenen Druck P hat, (b) eine Anordnung von beabstandeten Flüssigkeitsstrahlöffnungen (14) entlang der Querrichtung, wobei jede Öffnung einen vorgegebenen Durchmesser (D) hat und in Strömungsverbindung mit der Quelle steht, (c) eine Aufladeelektrode (18) von vorgebener Länge (L), die stromabwärts von den Öffnungen liegt, um wahlweise Tröpfchen elektrisch aufzuladen, während diese aus zusammenhängenden Strahlen vereinzelt werden, die aus den Öffnungen austreten, indem selektiv eine Aufladespannung V daran angelegt wird, (d) mindestens eine Ablenkelektrode (20), die stromabwärts von der Aufladeelektrode angeordnet ist, um die elektrisch aufgeladenen Tröpfchen von dem Aufnahmesubstrat abzulenken, und (e) Sammeleinrichtungen (22) zum Sammeln der aufgeladenen und abgelenkten Tröpfchen, wobei die Flüssigkeitsstrahl-Behandlungsvorrichtung dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß:
eine Querbehandlungsabmessung wesentlich größer als 26,7 cm (10,5 inch) ist;
daß jede Öffnung einen Durchmesser von weniger als 0,05 cm hat und der Druck P größer als 0,14 kg/cm2 ist, so daß zufällig geformte Tröpfchen dazwischen unterschiedliche Größen und Abstände haben; und
daß die vorgegebenen Parameterwerte P und D einen Tröpfchen-Fehlausrichtungswert von 2,3 cm oder weniger von der Substratoberfläche selbst dann haben, wenn die Tröpfchenerzeugung zufällig erfolgt.
2. Flüssigkeitsstrahl-Behandlungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Substrat ein Gewebe ist.
3. Flüssigkeitsstrahl-Behandlungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei der Tröpfchen-Fehlausrichtungswert durch den Ausdruck n (4.51 D) S'/S definiert ist, wobei n der Anzahl der mittleren Tropfenabstände entspricht, in denen ein Tröpfchen vom mittleren Ablösepunkt gebildet wird, D dem Öffnungsdurchmesser, S der Strahlgeschwindigkeit und S' der Substratbewegungsgeschwindigkeit entspricht.
4. Flüssigkeitsstrahl-Behandlungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, 2 oder 3, wobei jede Öffnung einen Durchmesser D im Bereich von 0,0008 bis 0,05 cm hat und der Druck P im Bereich von 0,14 bis 35 kg/cm2 liegt.
5. Flüssigkeitsstrahl-Behandlungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, 2 oder 3, wobei jede Öffnung einen Durchmesser von etwa 0,0102 cm hat und der Druck P im Bereich von 0,2 bis 0,5 kg/cm2 liegt.
6. Flüssigkeitsstrahl-Behandlungsverfahren zum selektiven Aufbringen einer Flüssigkeit an vorgegebenen Stellen entlang einer Maschinenvorschub-Querrichtung auf ein Aufnahmesubstrat, während dieses sich in einer Längsrichtung quer zu der Maschinenquerrichtung bewegt, wobei das Verfahren verwendet (a) eine Quelle von unter Druck stehender Behandlungsflüssigkeit (10), die einen vorgegebenen Druck P hat, (b) eine Anordnung von beabstandeten Flüssigkeitsstrahlöffnungen (14) entlang der Maschinenquerrichtung, wobei jede Öffnung einen vorgegebenen Durchmesser D hat und in Flüssigkeitsverbindung mit der Quelle steht, (c) eine Aufladeelektrode (18) von vorgegebener Länge L, die stromabwärts von den Öffnungen angeordnet ist, um die Tröpfchen bei ihrer Ablösung aus den zusammenhängenden Strahlen, die aus den Öffnungen austreten, durch selektive Anwendung einer Aufladespannung V abzulösen, (d) mindestens eine Ablenkelektrode (20), die stromabwärts von der Aufladeelektrode angeordnet ist, um die elektrisch aufgeladenen Tröpfchen von dem Aufnahmetextilsubstrat abzulenken, und (e) eine Sammeleinrichtung (22) zum Sammeln der aufgeladenen und abgelenkten Tröpfchen, wobei das Behandlungsverfahren dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß:
das Substrat mit einer quer zur Vorschubrichtung verlaufenden Behandlungsabmessung von wesentlich mehr als 26,7 cm (10,5 inch) in der Längsrichtung bewegt wird; und
und daß Tröpfchen zufällig und ohne künstliche Störungen erzeugt werden, indem jede Öffnung einen Durchmesser D von weniger als 0,05 cm hat und der Öffnung die unter Druck stehende Behandlungsflüssigkeit mit einem Druck von mehr als 0,14 kg/cm2 zugeleitet wird und das Substrat in Querrichtung selektiv mit der Flüssigkeit behandelt wird, während es sich in Längsrichtung bewegt, indem lediglich einige der zufällig geformt werden, und daß man den Rest der zufällig geformten Tröpfchen selektiv aufgeladen werden, während sie zufällig geformt werden, und daß man der Rest der zufällig geformten Tröpfchen mit einem vorgegebenen maximalen Tröpfchen-Fehlausrichtungswert auf das Substrat fallen läßt.
7. Flüssigkeitsstrahl-Behandlungsverfahren nach Anspruch 6, wobei der vorgegebene Druck P mindestens zweimal so groß wie für eine kohärent gestörte Druckvorrichtung ist, die den gleichen vorgegebenen Tröpfchen-Fehlausrichtungswert hat.
8. Flüssigkeitsstrahl-Behandlungsverfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei die vorgegebene Aufladespannung V mindestens 1,5 mal so groß wie die für eine kohärent gestörte Druckvorrichtung ist, die den gleichen vorgegebenen Fehlausrichtungswert hat.
9. Flüssigkeitsstrahl-Behandlungsverfahren nach Anspruch 6, wobei die Öffnungsgröße und der Flüssigkeitsdruck nach einem vorgegebenen Tröpfchen-Fehlausrichtungswert eingestellt werden, der E=n(4,5/D) S'/S ist, worin n der Anzahl der mittleren Tröpfchenabstände entspricht, die ein Tröpfchen von dem mittleren Ablösepunkt entfernt bildet, d dem Öffnungsdurchmesser, S der Strahlgeschwindigkeit und S' der Substratbewegungsgeschwindigkeit entspricht.
10. Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, wobei das Substrat ein Gewebe ist und die Flüssigkeit ein natürlich oder synthetischer Textilfarbstoff oder Farbe oder Mischungen davon ist.
