Definitions
- the preamble of claim 1 relates to a weapon manufactured and sold by the applicant.
- a closure for an automatic is - tables firearm arranged in a closure housing on which an extractor is pivotally mounted and an ejector is slidably guided.
- An extractor designed as a two-armed lever is rotatably mounted on an axis in a slot of the closure.
- a spring engages at the rear end of the puller.
- the front end of the extractor which is referred to as a claw, engages in the extracting groove of the cartridge case under the action of the spring.
- the object which is to be achieved with the present invention is to provide a reliable ejection device which ensures that the empty cartridge cases are reliably ejected from the firearm even at high cadences and correspondingly high forces.
- the device with which this object is achieved according to the invention is characterized in that a stop is fastened to the weapon housing, on which the pull-out lever is supported via the support lever only in the rearmost position of the displaceably mounted breech, in order to prevent the pull-out lever from pivoting unintentionally when the ejector rod hits the bottom of the cartridge case.
- FIGS. 2 and 3 as well as the corresponding text passages in the description of the figures only serve to explain features that are characterized in claims 2 and 3.
- a control element 11 is displaceably guided in a closure 10.
- a firing pin 12 is attached to this control member 11 for piercing a cartridge 13, of which only the rear end of the cartridge case 13 is visible.
- a driver 14 projects into a recess in the control element 11 and, by means of a spring (not shown), moves the control element 11 and the breech 10 forward from the position shown, in the direction of arrow A, ie in the firing direction of the weapon.
- this shift is assumed to be known and is therefore not further explained here.
- An ejector rod 20 is used to eject the empty cartridge case 13, which extends through a longitudinal bore of the closure 10 and is supported on the back, in the position shown, on a piston 21 of a closure puff 22.
- the locking buffer 22 is fastened in a manner not shown in the weapon housing 15.
- the stroke of the ejector rod 20 is limited by a bolt 23 which is fastened in the closure 10 and projects through an elongated hole 24 in the ejector rod 20.
- the pull-out lever 16 is therefore supported by a support lever 25 pivotally mounted in the weapon housing 15 on a stationary stop 26 fastened in the weapon housing 15.
- the support lever 25 is pivotable about an axis 27 and has a nose 28 which is supported on the pull-out lever 16, a stop surface 29 which abuts the stop 26 and an arm 30 on which a spring 31 is supported via a spring sleeve 32.
- the spring 31 is located in a blind bore 33 of the closure 10. As long as the support lever 25 is supported with the stop surface 29 on the stop 16, the pull-out lever 16 cannot pivot. Only when the closure 10 moves forward and the stop surface 29 is no longer in the region of the stop 26 can both the support lever 25 and the pull-out lever 16 pivot in the clockwise direction, the spring 31 being compressed. In the position of the closure 10 shown, reliable tilting and ejection of the empty cartridge cases 13 is therefore ensured, since the pull-out lever 16 is secured.
- a pull-out lever 47 is pivotally mounted in the closure 10 about an axis 48 and, in the position shown, engages with its nose 49 in the pull-out groove 17 of the cartridge case 13.
- the extraction lever 47 has a fork 50 in which a leaf spring 51 is fastened, which is supported on a stop 52 of the closure 10.
- the leaf spring 51 tends to pivot the pull-out lever 47 into the position shown; the pull-out lever 47 can therefore only be pivoted counter to the force of the leaf spring 51 in a clockwise direction about the axis 48.
- the pull-out lever 47 also has an arm 53, which is directed upward in FIG. 3 and is supported on a locking pawl 54.
- the locking pawl 54 is also pivotally mounted in the lock 10 about an axis 55 and is supported with its one arm 56 on a pawl 57 which is mounted in the lock 10 about an axis 58.
- a support slide 59 is also slidably guided in a bore. This support slide 59 is intended to prevent undesired, premature tilting of the cartridge 13.
- a spring 60 which is supported on the one hand on a stop 61 of the support slide 59 and on the other hand on the pawl 57, tends to push the support slide 59 against the cartridge 13 and to pivot the pawl 57 counterclockwise, as a result of which the pawl 57 on the arm 56 of the locking pawl 54 abuts.
- a two-armed actuating lever 62 is pivotally mounted on the axis 55 and has a fork 63 in which a cam 64 of the support slide 59 engages.
- the actuating lever 62 also has a curved recess 65, in which a bolt 66 of the locking pawl 54 engages.
- a control cam not shown
- the locking pawl 54 can be pivoted in the foremost position of the closure 10 in order to release the pull-out lever 47, analogously to the second exemplary embodiment.
- the actuating lever 62 can be pivoted in the rearmost position of the closure 10 by a second control cam (not shown) in order to withdraw the support slide 59 so that the cartridge case 13 can be tilted.
- the ejector rod 20 shown and described in FIG. 1 serves to tilt the cartridge case 13.
- the pull-out lever 34 is configured exactly the same as in the second exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2.
- the pull-out lever 34 is pivotally mounted in the lock 10 about the axis 35 and, in the position shown, engages with its nose 36 in the pull-out groove 17 of the cartridge case 13.
- the extraction lever 34 also has a fork 37, in which a leaf spring 38 is fastened, which is supported on a stop 39 of the closure 10.
- the leaf spring 38 endeavors to pivot the pull-out lever 34 into the position shown.
- a support lever 67 pivotable about an axis 68, is mounted in the closure 10.
- This support lever 67 has two arms 69 and 70, of which one arm 69 rests on the cartridge 13 and secures it against premature tilting and the other arm 70 has a bolt 71 which fits into a groove 72 of the Weapon case engages.
- the support lever 67 takes the dashed line in FIG. 3 drawn position.
- the bolt 71 of the support lever 67 is located in the central section B of the groove 72, ie if the closure 10 moves from one end position to the other, the support lever 67 assumes the position drawn in solid lines in FIG. 4 and the cartridge 13 is secured against unintentional tipping.
- the mode of operation of the other exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 2-3 differs from the first exemplary embodiment (FIG. 1) in that the pull-out lever 47 (FIG. 2) is always placed under the catch 41 or 54. Only in the foremost position of the breech 10 is the pawl 41 pivoted by the control cam 46 and the pull-out lever 47 released so that the cartridge 13 penetrate into the recess 19 of the breech 10 and the pull-out lever 34 or 47 snap into the groove 17 of the cartridge case 13 can.
- the support lever 67 FIG. 3
- the support slide 59 FIG.
- the cartridge 13 is secured against unintentional tipping and only in the rearmost position of the closure is the cartridge 13 by the support lever 67 or by the support slide 59 Tilt released.
- the actuating lever 62 is pivoted by a control cam, not shown, and the support slide 59 is retracted.
- the bolt 71 of the support lever 67 reaches section A of the control groove 72 and the support lever 67 is pivoted away from the cartridge (13) with its arm 69.

The preamble of claim 1 relates to a weapon manufactured and sold by the applicant.
In known devices (see in particular US-A-3 057 100, DE-C-107 970, GB-A-280 136 and US-A-2 412 663) means are provided which, at least in the foremost position of the closure, the pull-out lever Secure against unintentional pivoting with a support lever or a locking pawl and a stop.
In another Auswerfvorrlchtung (see CH-A-627 264), a closure for an automatic is - tables firearm arranged in a closure housing on which an extractor is pivotally mounted and an ejector is slidably guided. When the shot is fired, the breech moves back and forth. An extractor designed as a two-armed lever is rotatably mounted on an axis in a slot of the closure. A spring engages at the rear end of the puller. The front end of the extractor, which is referred to as a claw, engages in the extracting groove of the cartridge case under the action of the spring.
With high cadence, the forces exerted by the ejector on the extractor's claw when ejecting the cartridge case are so great that the force of the spring, which pushes the extractor with the claw into the extractor groove of the cartridge case, is no longer sufficient. Additional means are required so that the extractor can hold the cartridge case so reliably with the claw that it is tilted by the ejector when ejected.
In the known devices, there is a risk that the extractor is secured against unintentional pivoting only when the cartridge case is pulled out of the weapon barrel and not also when the cartridge case is ejected by the ejector.
The object which is to be achieved with the present invention is to provide a reliable ejection device which ensures that the empty cartridge cases are reliably ejected from the firearm even at high cadences and correspondingly high forces.
The device with which this object is achieved according to the invention is characterized in that a stop is fastened to the weapon housing, on which the pull-out lever is supported via the support lever only in the rearmost position of the displaceably mounted breech, in order to prevent the pull-out lever from pivoting unintentionally when the ejector rod hits the bottom of the cartridge case.
- 1 shows a longitudinal section through part of a weapon housing with a breech, a cartridge extractor, a cartridge ejector and, according to a first exemplary embodiment, with a support lever for the cartridge extractor,
- Fig. 2 shows a part of the closure with an extractor, a locking pawl and a support slide according to a third embodiment, and
- Fig. 3 shows a part of the closure with an extractor, a locking pawl and a cartridge support lever according to a fourth embodiment.
No protection is claimed for the embodiments according to FIGS. 2 and 3. FIGS. 2 and 3 as well as the corresponding text passages in the description of the figures only serve to explain features that are characterized in claims 2 and 3.
In a first exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, a
Zum Kippen der Patronenhülse 13 dient die in Fig. 1 dargestellte und beschriebene Auswerferstange 20.In the second exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2, a pull-
In the third exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3, the pull-out
- A
cartridge 13, which is supplied laterally in a manner not shown, is pushed into the weapon barrel according to FIG. 1 through the breech 10, the rear end of thecartridge case 13 entering therecess 19 of the breech 10 and thenose 36 of the pull-outlever 16 into thegroove 17 of theCartridge case 13 snaps into place. Subsequently, thecontrol member 11 in theclosure 10 is also displaced by thedriver 14 and thefiring pin 12 will pierce thecartridge 13. After firing, thebreech 10 is moved back by the gas pressure and thecartridge case 13 is pulled out of the weapon barrel by the extractor or extractinglever 16. For this process, it is not necessary to secure the pull-outlever 16 against pivoting. However, as soon as theclosure 10 abuts thebuffer 22, thepiston 21 pushes theejector rod 20 against thecartridge case 13 in order to tilt thecartridge case 13. In this process, however, it is necessary to secure the pull-outlever 16 against inadvertent pivoting. When theclosure 10 runs back, thesupport lever 25 abuts against thestop 26, as a result of which thenose 28 of thesupport lever 25 is pressed against the pull-outlever 16 and the pull-outlever 16 can no longer pivot.
