Since in the hinge arm according to the invention as a result of an angle adjustment by actuating the adjusting screw without corresponding adjustment of the fastening screw, angular changes are not compensated for by deformation of the elongated hole edges, but rather by deformation of the washer, a symmetrical configuration of the fastening plate is possible, which leads to simplified storage because the same mounting plates can be used for left and right mounting of the doors.

Claims (6)

1. Adjustable bent profiled sheet-metal hinge arm (1) supporting at least one articulated lever, which is connected to a supporting wall (6) or similar attachable base plate (4) by means of a fastening screw (2) with a screw head (13) and an adjusting screw (3), with the fastening screw passing through a slot (8) in the upper wall of the hinge arm and then being screwed into a bore hole in the base plate ; the head of the fastening screw is supported on the edges of the slot, resting on a washer (14, 14') ; the adjusting screw is screwed into a threaded bore hole (10) in the upper wall of the hinge arm between the fastening screw and the end of the hinge arm supporting at least one articulated lever ; in order to tension the hinge arm, the rear section of which has an angled part (5) resting on the base plate, the adjusting screw likewise rests on the base plate ; characterised by the fact that the washer (14, 14') is made from an elastic and/or plastic material which, when the hinge arm (1) is fixed, permits the hinge arm (1) to be adjusted by the adjusting screw (3) without causing any major deformation of the edges of the slot (8).

5. Hinge arm according to Claim 3, characterised by the fact that the edge (20) is bevelled in order to delimit a truncated cone-shaped recess (19).
6. Hinge arm according to one of the Claims 1 to 5, characterised by the fact that the base plate (4) is formed symmetrically to its longitudinal and transverse centre lines and that the fastening screw (2) is screwed into the base plate (4) in the area where these lines intersect.
