Description

The invention relates to a mounting device for detachable, distortion-free attachment of the shell of an electrical wall or ceiling lamp to a support with retaining projections which engage under an outwardly projecting edge flange of the neck of the shell and are resilient in the radial direction and of which at least one retaining projection an axis perpendicular to the pull-off direction of the shell is designed to be pivotable radially outward from an opening of the carrier edge, this being designed as a retaining projection as a leaf spring locking member which springs with a hook part on the neck of the shell and with an i. w. is provided radially protruding unlocking arm.

Such a mounting device, which has become known from EP-A-0 022 962 and also from US-A-1 514 784, enables simple construction and simple actuation, in particular also with regard to the recognizability of the way in which the unlocking takes place must, a distortion-free, sidnere bracket, also taking into account the relatively large manufacturing tolerance in the neck diameter of the shells.

Similar to other such mounting devices with resilient locking members, difficulties can arise, in particular, when the resilient locking member comes to rest at the bottom when attached to a wall, so that the weight of the shell increases the risk of the leaf spring being pushed outward and thus the risk of it falling out the shell is given. This difficulty could be avoided if either no resilient locking member is provided, but this is disadvantageous with regard to the compensation of the manufacturing tolerances, or if the assembly is carried out so that the resilient locking member is on top, but this does not guarantee practical use can, and especially not if the lamp is installed by laymen.

The invention is therefore based on the object of designing a mounting device of the type mentioned in such a way that the risk of unlocking, even with extremely heavy shells and under any assembly conditions, is prevented with a consistently simple and easy-to-operate structure.

To achieve this object, it is provided according to the invention that at the head of the leaf spring locking member a protruding, when the leaf spring locking member pivots on the opening limit of the support edge bent locking tongue is arranged, which by pressing on its free end running in front of the unlocking arm in a release position is pivotable.

With this additional locking tongue, the shell can only pivot the leaf spring locking member outward until the protruding bend of the locking tongue abuts the edge of the opening of the carrier edge in the case of extremely heavy weight and the aforementioned unfavorable mounting position. A further pivoting is then not possible even by any high forces and thus the risk of automatic unlocking described above is reliably prevented. For the purpose of deliberately loosening the mounting device, the operator must press the unlocking arm of the leaf spring locking member, the free end of the locking tongue, which essentially runs parallel to it, is inevitably also actuated, which in this way is virtually at the level of the head of the leaf spring - Locking member is pivoted back so that the above additional locking is deactivated. There is no longer any part so far that it could abut behind the limitation of the pivoting opening in the carrier edge, so that in the course of the further pivoting the leaf spring locking member releases the neck portion of the shell, which can thus be lifted out of its seat in the carrier.

In addition to the possibility of fixing the locking tongue as a separate component on the leaf spring locking element - in particular by spot welding - it has proven particularly expedient to design both as a one-piece component in such a way that the locking tongue is a stamped part bent out of the leaf spring. Before the leaf spring locking member is bent, it is provided with an appropriately arranged U-shaped longitudinal punching, which is bent in a different way than the actual leaf spring element in order to form the special additional locking tongue.

Finally, it is also within the scope of the invention that the leaf spring is a double-layer bent part, the superimposed, on. Bottom portion of the carrier attached sections, at least in the head and hook area are spaced apart. This double-layered bending part enables the total spring hardness of the locking member thus formed to be adjusted to a large extent independently of the spring force of the strip material used, so that, depending on the circumstances, optimum adaptation to the desired operating conditions, in particular also to the weight of the shell to be absorbed, can only be achieved by appropriate bending can be.

Further advantages, features and details of the invention result from the following description of an exemplary embodiment and from the drawing. Show:
  • 1 is a partially broken side view of a wall or ceiling lamp according to the invention,
  • 2 is a broken top view of the carrier with the shell removed,
  • Fig. 3 is an enlarged plan view of the area the leaf spring locking member,
  • Fig. 4 is an angled, enlarged section along the line IV-IV in Fig. 2 and
  • Fig. 5 is a broken section corresponding to Fig. 4 in the unlocked position of the leaf spring locking member.

Fig.2 u. Fig. 5). The shell 1 of the wall or ceiling lamp shown in FIG. 1 has a tapered neck section 2 with a protruding edge flange 3, which on the one hand is supported by two resilient retaining projections 4 which are offset by approximately 120 ° in circumference (cf. especially Fig. 2 and Fig . 4) and, on the other hand, a leaf spring locking member 5, which is arranged offset by 120 ° on the circumference relative to the two holding projections 4, is undercut. The holding projections 4 are correspondingly angled leaf springs, which are clamped in a stamped bend 6 with their legs 7, a bent, angled pin limiting tongue 8 forming an insert limit stop when inserting this leaf spring component before the pin bend 6 is jammed. The leaf spring locking member 5, which can be pivoted out to open the edge flange 3 of the shell 1 from an opening 9 of the support edge 10 of the support 11 fastened to the wall or ceiling, is designed as a double-layer bent part. The two sections 5a and 5b are spaced apart from one another at least in the area of the head 12 and the hook 13 engaging under the edge flange 3, in the illustrated embodiment also in the area of the unlocking arm 14, the type of spacing permitting the spring force of this locking member 5 to be largely influenced . A U-shaped punching 15 in the area of the head 12 and the unlocking arm 14 forms a locking tongue 16 which is bent such that its bending section 17 projecting over the head 12 of the leaf spring locking member 5 when the locking member 5 is pivoted outwards at the edge 18 the pivot opening 9 of the carrier edge 10 of the carrier 11 abuts. An automatic opening of the locking member 5 as a result of very strong tensile forces on the shell, for example due to its high weight, but in particular a wall fastening rotated by 90 ° with respect to FIG. 1, so that the locking member 5 comes to lie below, is excluded. When pressing the unlocking arm 14 in the direction of arrow 20, the free end 21 of the locking tongue 16 must inevitably be pivoted against the unlocking arm 14, whereby the projecting bend 17 is practically moved back to the height of the head 12 of the leaf spring locking member 5. When moving further, the unlocking arm 14 can now be moved against the ceiling or the wall, as a result of which the head 12 unlocked as a result of the retraction of the locking tongue can pivot out of the opening 9 (cf. FIG. 5). This frees the edge flange 3 of the neck 2 of the shell 1 and the shell can be removed from the carrier 11. The two sections 5a and 5b of the double-layer bent part of the leaf spring locking member 5 are preferably fastened to the bottom 23 of the carrier 11 with the aid of a bent-out, subsequently compressed clamping tab 22.

The invention is not restricted to the exemplary embodiment shown. All that is essential is the provision of an additional locking spring which, by bumping against the edge of the pivoting opening of the carrier edge, prevents an undesired unlocking of the locking member by unfavorable assembly conditions or high weight of the shell and which is automatically unlocked before the locking member is actuated intentionally. For this purpose, for example, a separate locking tongue welded to the leaf spring locking member 5 or otherwise secured could also be used.
