Description

The invention relates to a plate heater, consisting of two formed by a valve housing for receiving a valve or thermostatic valve insert via its two side outlets connected to the heating plate between them leading from the bottom up to the valve housing, in which each heating plate usually by mirror image deformation of the The walls of its upper edge area form a distribution channel and its lower area a collection channel, and the distribution and collection channel are flow-connected in multiplicity by forms of the connecting channels created by one of the two mutually facing walls that run perpendicularly thereto and form through hollow cross sections, and the collection channels are provided with a return connection .

Known, two-plate radiators with flow connections located at the bottom, generally perpendicular to the level of the floor, are connected via a connection part, which ends in a pipe arranged between the heating plates in a valve housing, the outlets provided on both sides connecting the distribution channels of the two located above Heating plates are connected.

The valve housing is equipped with an exchangeable seat according to European patent application 83710062.7 to accommodate a normal valve body or various

The supply line to be arranged between the heating plates and connected in the upper area to the valve housing is an obstacle to the formation of an optimal warm air flow in the shaft formed by it, since ultimately an internal flow develops around the rising pipeline, and the heat given off in a controlled distribution by the Heating plates is withdrawn.

The arrangement and adapting bend of the flow line between the heating plates is labor-intensive and therefore costly.

It also increases the number of tight connections to be made and, more generally, the risks of this composite construction.

Furthermore, it must be confirmed that the arrangement of the supply pipe between the heating plates results in the optical symmetry of the plate arrangement, in particular in the case of low radiators which can be seen from above, e.g. in representative sales rooms.

Although this is not a technical defect, it is merely a reduction in the aesthetic impression, but technical means such as covering panels or additional cladding are required to eliminate it.

Taking this into account, it is the object of this invention to name a panel radiator of the type described at the outset which, with the slightest disruption to the intense hot air flow which forms between the heating panels, avoids separate heat emission from the line leading to the distribution channels located above and one, only via the heating panels heat dissipation takes place, which, as part of this training, the number of tight connections to be made between the flow connection and the supply in the two distribution channels should be reduced to a minimum.

As a side task, the low, i.e. in the case of radiators that can be seen from above into the space, avoid the necessary cladding.

The solution to this problem according to the invention provides that each heating plate is closed in its connection-side lower corner region in the collecting duct between two connecting ducts by corresponding impressions of the radiator inner wall on the inside of the radiator outer wall and thus a connection region for the valve housing connecting the two heating plates is limited in the collecting duct , the connecting channels that follow it are riser channels leading to the distribution channel, and each form a flow inlet integrated in the heating plate.

Through this design, the supply of the flow to the distribution channels of the two heating plates is completely absorbed by them, so that only the valve or valve housing to be arranged in the lower, operating side corner area takes over the hot water inflow between the heating plates, this with two diametrical, perpendicular to the operating side provided valve housing is to be addressed at the same time as a spacing means between the heating plates, which can be connected by pressure welding.

The other corner areas of the radiator can be connected by an intermediate piece that enables water to be drained from the collecting channels and by spacers of any type.

As already expressed, it is advisable to carry out the distribution in a front corner area; it is therefore provided that the embossing between the connection channels, starting from the operator-side limitation of the heating plate, each extend over the area between the second and third connection channels.

With such a corner distribution, the arrangement of additional outlets of the returning water from the collecting channel is unnecessary.

In the lowering of the valve pointing in the direction of the radiator, no disadvantage can be seen since, especially in larger rooms, the setting generally remains constant, and in the event of necessary, rare changes to the basic setting, an occasional bending down by about half a meter is quite reasonable with regard to the advantages.

There is no need to cover or cover the radiators, provided that a cover plate arranged at a distance above the radiator is not required as a shelf for flowers or decorative objects.

This means that the training fully meets the task.

The attached drawings are intended to explain, for example, the design of a radiator according to the type described in an exemplary embodiment.

Figure 1 shows a section through the radiator with an upstream connected valve with a thermostat insert.
Figure 2 shows the same representation, but without the upstream valve, the formation of the impressions between the second and third connecting channel, as well as the formation of the connection area is clarified.
  • Figur 3 zeigt einen Schnitt I-I aus Figur 1 und hierbei insbesondere die Zuordnung der beiden Heizplatten über das Ventilgehäuse und ein Distanzstück.FIG. 3 shows a section I-I from FIG. 1 and in particular the assignment of the two heating plates via the valve housing and a spacer.
  • Figur 4 zeigt den Schnitt II-II aus Figur 3 und verdeutlicht insbesondere die die Verbindungskanäle trennende Einprägung.FIG. 4 shows the section II-II from FIG. 3 and in particular illustrates the impression which separates the connecting channels.

The radiator 1 is formed by two heating plates 1.1, these being connected to one another by the valve housing 11.1, a return connection, not shown, and by two spacers 13.

Jede Heizplatte 1.1. besteht aus der Innenwand 8 und der Außenwand 9.Each heating plate 1.1. consists of the inner wall 8 and the outer wall 9.

In this case — through impressions 7 provided in mirror image in the two walls 8/9 — the distributor channel 3 is formed on top and parallel to this, on the bottom, the collecting channel 2.

Perpendicular to the two channels 2 and 3, the connecting channels 4/5/6 ff. Are pronounced in an approximately uniform division, and the heating plates 1.1, along with their edge welding in the between the distribution channels 4/5/6 ff .

Between the second and third connecting channels 5 and 6, an indentation 7 closes off the collecting channel 2 and thus forms a connection area 10 for the valve housing 11.1, which in turn transfers into the flow connection 11 directed vertically downwards.

The connection area 10 is generally carried by a support part, not shown, equipped with distribution bores, which ensures the prescribed distance to the walls 8/9 when using the pressure welding method, and stabilizes this connection as such.

The connection area 10 leads into the connecting channels 4 and 5, which form an integrated flow inlet with the entry into the distribution channel 3 in each of the two heating plates.

The spacers 13 can be carriers of trim parts or of storage plates to be arranged at a distance from them.
