Description

The invention relates to a ski boot with a foot holder arranged within an outer shell, which can be adjusted by at least one tension member with the aid of at least one tensioning device mounted on the shell, which consists of a winding body seated on a shaft for the tension member and a turnstile for the Shell penetrating shaft exists.

Since the outer shell of a ski boot generally consists of a plastic with a comparatively high dimensional stability, an adjustable foot holder is provided between the shell and the foot to adapt to the particular shape of the foot, which usually acts on the inner shoe. Such foot mounts are required in particular for ski boots, the outer shell of which has a closed forefoot part with a hinged shaft which is composed of a fore-end part and a pivotable heel flap. In the case of such ski boots, the forefoot part of the shell cannot be adjusted, so that an adaptation to the foot is only possible using a separate foot holder. In known foot mounts (DE-A-2 712 001), for example, a saddle-like pressure transmission piece is provided within the shell in the instep area, which can be braced against the heel with the aid of bands. For this purpose, cables are attached to the straps, which are guided through corresponding channels in the shell outwards to a tensioning lever articulated in the heel area on the heel flap, so that the pressure transmission piece can be pulled against the inner shoe via a tensioning lever actuation. To adapt to different foot shapes and -sizes, the tensioning lever is provided with several notches for the cable. However, these notches only allow gradual adjustment. Continuous adjustment can be achieved if the cable engages with a screw drive that is mounted on the tensioning lever. However, this makes the tensioning device structurally complex. Apart from this, the cables provided for tensioning the tapes have to be guided through channels in the shell, cable deflections being unavoidable, which on the one hand make the tensioning device more difficult to operate and on the other hand cause greater wear.

In addition, a tensioning device has become known for the foot holder of a ski boot (AT-A-374 352), which consists of a winding body seated on a shaft for the tension member and a turnstile for the shaft passing through the shell. The winding body is formed from a substantially semicircular winding disk, which is rotatably connected to the pivotable shaft part of the ski boot, via the hinge axis of the pivoting shaft part, so that when the shaft part is pivoted, depending on the pivoting direction, the foot holder is tightened or loosened. In order to ensure a sufficient winding or unwinding length for the tension member with the comparatively small pivoting angle of the pivotable shaft part, the radius of the winding disk must be selected to be relatively large. The known tensioning device is consequently not suitable for adjusting the foot holder by hand. Although there is the possibility of adjusting the pretensioning of the tension member via a knob connected to the shaft in a rotationally fixed manner, which can be screwed in different rotational positions with a locking disc on the pivotable shaft part, this button does not form a turning handle for tensioning the foot holder when the shoe is put on. On the one hand, the lever arm for applying the necessary torque would be too large and, on the other hand, the screw connection between the button and the locking disc would have to be loosened and tightened again.

The invention is therefore based on the object to avoid these shortcomings and to improve a ski boot of the type described in such a way that the tensioning device allows adjustment of the foot holder by hand with little effort at any time, due to its small size, the cheapest for tensioning the foot holder Place of the shell can be attached and is not subject to any significant wear.

The invention solves this problem in that the tension member on the winding body designed as a winding roll can be wound up by means of a rotary handle provided on the outside of the shell for the shaft, that the rotary handle has a rotatably mounted handle with a rotation axis perpendicular to the shaft and that the turnstile consists of at least there is a shell-fixed stop which interacts with the handle folded down against the shell.

When the shaft is rotated via the rotary handle, the tension member, usually a cable or a rope, is wound up or unwound, which results in the adjustment of the foot holder. Since the winding core of the winding roll can have a comparatively small diameter, the adjustment steps are small even if the turnstile is only effective in selected rotational positions of the shaft. The small diameter of the winding roll also makes it possible that the required clamping torque can be applied by hand without difficulty via the handle. The torque exerted across the tension member across the shaft must be removed via the shell. However, this presents no difficulties because, on the one hand, the distance between the winding roll and the inside of the shell is kept small on the other hand, the shaft can also be supported on the shell surface via support plates.

In order to fix the shaft for the winding roller in a rotationally fixed manner with respect to the shell, the handle only needs to be folded down against the shell, so that it comes to lie in front of the intended shell-fixed stop, which prevents further rotation of the handle. The pivotable mounting of the handle also has the advantage that the raised handle is easy to handle for actuating the tensioning device, but that after adjusting the foot holder, the handle can be pivoted into a non-projecting locking position.

Although a single stop for the handle can be sufficient for a turnstile, it is advantageous to provide two stops at a distance corresponding to the length of the handle on both sides of the shaft, so that the handle can be folded down between the stops, because the load on the stops is kept smaller. In addition, there is a safe, equally effective turnstile in both directions of rotation.

Another possibility of designing the turnstile is that the shaft is held axially displaceably in the shell and is resiliently supported with respect to the shell, and that the handle preferably has at least one latching projection which engages in corresponding recesses. To release such a turnstile, the handle is to be turned with an increased force in order to be able to unscrew the catch from the catch recess while overcoming the spring force. When the locking position is reached, the locking takes place by itself due to the resilient support of the shaft. Such a resilient locking device has the additional advantage that the handle piece also in the pivoted-up position in certain rotational positions of the shaft is locked, which above all makes it easier to move the operating hand when turning the handle. Particularly advantageous design conditions are ensured if the handle has at least two locking lugs offset with respect to one another with respect to its axis of rotation by the folding angle, because one of these locking lugs takes effect in the pivoted-up position of the handle and the other in the folded-down position.

If the locking lugs consist of a web parallel to the axis of rotation of the handle, a comparatively large support surface is formed by this web, which entails favorable locking conditions.

In order to achieve a latching in positions rotated by 90 * relative to one another in a simple manner, the latching recesses can finally consist of two grooves in the shell intersecting in the region of the shaft.

The outer shell 1 of the ski boot shown in FIG. 1 consists of a forefoot part 2 forming the sole 2a and a shaft articulated on the forefoot part 2, which is composed of a front part 3 of the shaft and the heel flap 4. Since in particular the forefoot part 2 has a closed, non-adjustable shape, a foot holder 5 is provided within the shell 1 to adapt to the respective foot shape and size, which can be adjusted with the help of a clamp direction 6 can be adjusted. This foot holder 5 consists of a lining piece 7 which extends within the shell over the instep area and which can be clamped down via tension members 8. For reasons of clarity, only one of the tension members 8 connected to a tensioning device 6 is indicated. Since the tensioning device 6 is essentially formed by a shaft 9 which passes through the shell 1 and carries a winding roller 10 for the tension member 8 on the inside of the shell and a turning handle 11 on the outside of the shell, this tensioning device can be attached anywhere on the shell 1, where a bracing of the foot holder 5 is desired.

The tension member 8, in the exemplary embodiment a rope or cable, is shown in FIG. 1 from a fixed pivot point 12 via the lining piece 7 to the other side of the shoe to a deflection roller 13 and from this deflection roller 13 back to the tensioning device 6, where it is on the winding roll 10 is anchored. This tension member guide has the advantage that the tension of the two tension member strands is compensated for via the deflecting roller 13 and the adjustment of the foot holder via the tensioning device 6 can be carried out more finely because the tensioning device 6 acts on both tension member strands and consequently the adjustment path for the foot bracket 5 only half travel of the clamping device 6 corresponds.

In order to secure the position of the foot holder 5 set via the clamping device 6, a turnstile is provided for the shaft 9. This turnstile consists according to FIGS. 2 and 3 of two shells fixed stops 14 provided on both sides of the shaft 9, which cooperate with the rotary handle 11, which is designed for this purpose as a handle 15, which is perpendicular to the shaft 9 on the axis 16 Shaft 9 is rotatably mounted and can be folded between the stops 14. In the folded position, the handle 15 between the stops 14 opposite a rotation around the shaft axis. In the actuated position indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 2, however, the grip piece can be rotated without hindrance and the tension member 8 can be unwound from the winding drum 10 or wound on the winding drum.

In addition to the turnstile formed by the stops 14, a latching device is provided, namely the handle 15 forms on the bearing-side end with respect to the axis of rotation 16 in each case offset latching projections 17 in the form of axially parallel webs, which are provided with two in the area of the shaft 9, in the area of the shaft 9 intersecting, groove-like recesses 18 cooperate. In order to allow a resilient latching of the latching projections 17 into the latching recesses 18, the shaft 9 is held axially displaceably in the shell 1 and is supported by a spring 19, which in the exemplary embodiment is designed as a spring ring between the shell 1 and the winding drum 10 the shell 1. In the pivoted-up position of the handle 15, the shaft 9 is consequently held after each rotation step of 90 ° when the corresponding latching projection 17 engages in the latching recesses 18 due to the spring load, so that the handle 15 can be omitted in these positions for reaching around the operating hand without fear of a decrease in the tension already applied. The locking engagement in the folded-down position secures the folded-down position.

As can be seen in FIGS. 1 and 2, the tensioning device 6 is mounted on a shoulder of the heel flap 4 so that when the heel flap is pivoted away, the foot holder 5 can come into a position in which it is easier to pull the foot out of the forefoot part 2. By pivoting the heel flap namely the tensioning device 6 is pivoted in the sense of an extension of the tension member 8 about the pivot axis of the heel flap 4. This pivoting of the tensioning device 6, however, requires that the shaft 9 passes through the forefoot part 2 in an elongated hole, which does not pose any difficulties, since this elongated hole is covered by an attachment of the heel flap 4.
