Abstract

An explosive gas, dissolved in a solvent, is stored under pressure in these bottles. Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Schutz von im Freien aufgestellten Flaschen, in denen ein explosibles Gas in einem Lösungsmittel gelöst unter Druck gespeichert ist. Derartige Vorrichtungen sind beispielsweise für die Bereitstellung von Acetylen bekannt. In den "Technische Regeln für Acetylenanlagen und Calciumcarbidlager" sind die Anforderungen angegeben, die an Aufstellplätze für Batterieanlagen zu stellen sind. Batterieanlagen sind Acetylenversorgungsanlagen, denen das Acetylen aus zwei oder mehreren Acetylenflaschen - auch als Flaschenbündel zusammengefaßt - gleichzeitig entnommen wird. Demnach müssen Batterieanlagen im Freien durch ein Dach aus nicht brennbaren Baustoffen vor Witterungseinflüssen und Sonneneinstrahlung geschützt sein. Durch die vorgeschlagene Verkleidung werden nur noch die Flaschenflanken, nicht aber deren Kopfbereich, die Flaschenschultern, gegen Sonneneinstrahlung geschützt. Dennoch ist eine sichere Gasentnahme gewährleistet: Durch die Verkleidung werden nur jene Flaschenbereiche vor Sonneneinwirkung geschützt, deren Erwärmung aus Sicherheitsgründen vermieden werden muß. In einer Flaschenbatterie beispielsweise stehen die Flaschen vertikal. Ohne jeden Sonnenschutz würden nun die Flaschen, die direkt der Sonneneinstrahlung ausgesetzt sind, erwärmt, während die im Schatten dieser Flaschen angeordneten Flaschen keine Erwärmung erfahren. Eine ungleichmäßige Erwärmung verschiedener Flaschen, die z.B. in Form eines Bündels oder einer Batterie an eine gemeinsame Entnahmeleitung angeschlossen sind, ist aber unzulässig, da das exploxible Gas den einzelnen Flaschen in unterschiedlichen Mengen entnommen würde.
