- the vibrating base 4 is connected to a base part 6 fixedly arranged in the rear section of the device box 1 via a film hinge 5.
- the vibrating base 4 is separated by a slot 7 from the side walls 8 and 9 and the front boundary wall 2, so that the vibrating base can be moved up and down.
- the up and down movements are effected by a gear wheel 10, which is arranged on an axle 12 driven by a pair of wheels 11 and meshes with a cam 13 formed on the shaking plate 4.
- the Axis 12 is supported in cheeks 14 which are pulled down on the side of the equipment box. Due to the shaking movements of the shaking base 4, the cleaning powder 15 filled in the equipment box 1 is conveyed through a slot 16 formed between the shaking base and the cover strip 3 to the scattering openings 17 provided at the free end of the shaking base. The cleaning powder falls onto the carpet 18 to be cleaned through these scattering openings 17.
- the cover strip 3 is arranged with an inclination on the vibrating base 4 on the front boundary wall 2. As a result of this tendency, no residues of the cleaning powder remain on the cover strip 3. Through the passage slot 16, the cleaning powder only reaches the scattering openings 17 in a thin layer corresponding to the height of the passage slot 16. There is no risk of clumping in this thin layer. As can be seen from the top view in FIG. 1, a plurality of holes arranged in a row are provided as scatter openings 17. Through these holes, a sieve effect is created, through which any powder lumps that may still be present are comminuted.
- a guide rod 19 can be fixed or plugged. This allows the device to be pushed over the carpet.
- the gear 10 is driven via the pair of wheels 11 and, as already described, the vibrating base 4 is set in vibrating movements.
- the dimensions of the device box 1 can, however, also be adapted to the housing of a training device equipped with a rotating or oscillating brush, so that the device box can be plugged onto this housing.
- the arrangement of the pair of wheels 11 is such that the wheels rest on the carpet in the plugged-in state of the device box 1 and roll on the carpet when the training device is moved back and forth.
- the vibrating base 4 is set in a vibrating motion and the cleaning powder is applied to the carpet via the scattering openings 17 located in front of the housing of the incorporation device.
- the cleaning powder is then immediately incorporated into the carpet pile by the brush of the incorporation device.
- This configuration of the device box 1 means that the cleaning powder can be applied and incorporated in a single operation.

Abstract
Description
Powdery cleaning agents, also known as dry foam, have recently been used to clean carpets. These cleaning agents are sprinkled on the carpet by hand and then worked into the carpet pile using rotating or swinging brushes. The dirt is loosened from the carpet fibers and bound to the cleaning agent. The carpet is then vacuumed off and the detergent with the dirt is removed from the carpet again.
Applying the cleaning agent by hand is very tedious and, above all, leads to a relatively uneven distribution of the cleaning agent on the carpet. This uneven distribution can no longer be compensated for when the cleaning agent is incorporated using the rotating or oscillating brushes.
The invention is therefore based on the object to provide a device with which a cleaning powder can be distributed as evenly as possible on the carpet surface, taking into account the fact that the corresponding cleaning powders contain a certain amount of moisture and therefore easily stick the individual powder particles together got to.
The achievement of the object is achieved according to the invention in that the device is box-shaped and is provided with an obliquely downward, with the cleaning powder displaceable in vibrating vibrating bottom, which is in the area of his compared to the front boundary wall of the equipment box has a free end over the entire width of the scattering openings, which are covered by a cover strip arranged at a vertical distance from the vibrating floor on the inside of the front boundary wall, between the free end and the vibrating floor of which there is a passage slot for the cleaning powder.
As a result of the shaking movements of the obliquely arranged vibrating floor, the cleaning powder slides to the scattering openings located at the lowest point of the vibrating floor and falls through them onto the carpet. Due to the passage slot formed from the cover strip to the vibrating bottom provided over the scattering openings, the cleaning powder is supplied to the scattering openings only in a thin layer corresponding to the slot height, and thus clogging of the scattering openings by the slightly clumping cleaning powder is avoided.
Because the cover strip is arranged too inclined to the vibrating base, no residues of the cleaning powder remain on the cover strip. For the uniform distribution of the cleaning powder, it is also beneficial that a plurality of holes arranged in series is provided as the scattering openings.
The vibrating movements of the vibrating base can be generated in a simple manner by arranging a pair of wheels connected by an axle in the area of the front end of the equipment box and by installing a gear on the axle rotating with the wheels, which meshes with a cam provided on the vibrating floor . The movable connection of the vibrating base with the equipment box necessary for the vibrating movements is achieved without additional assembly parts and work in that the vibrating base on its side opposite the free end is covered by a film hinge is connected to a fixed base part or the rear wall of the device box.
The application and incorporation of the cleaning powder is made possible in one operation in that the device box is adapted to the dimensions of a housing of a familiarization device containing a rotating or oscillating brush and can be plugged onto the device in such a way that the pair of wheels of the device continues to roll on the carpet.

The
The up and down movements (shaking movements) are effected by a gear wheel 10, which is arranged on an
The cover strip 3 is arranged with an inclination on the vibrating base 4 on the
On the
