Description

An installation according to the preamble of claim 1 is described in French patent No 1 414 659. According to this patent, the installation ensures the restoration of buildings by the projection, using a nozzle, of solid particles conveyed by a fluid under pressure, this installation comprising a cabin having an open front face intended to be placed against the building to be swallowed up, a floor for the support of the workers, a rear face provided with a fan sucking air from the area of the front face , a filter panel following the fan and a hopper provided with a conduit for discharging the solid particles collected by the filter panel.

With respect to this known arrangement, the installation of the invention is characterized in that it comprises an intermediate partition parallel to the open front face and provided with air suction fans, a rear lateral face. provided with air exhaust openings, the filtering panel being arranged parallel to and between the intermediate wall and the cioisorratDère 'the open front face being provided with a surround which projects outside of the cabin with respect to this front face, this surround being made of flexible material has on a frame made up of inflatable tubes.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the openings in the rear side face are provided with panels inclined upwards and outwards from the cabin.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the cabin is supported by the end of the lifting arm of a lifting machine, the connection of the cabin to the arm being produced by a rotational mounting of the cabin along a vertical axis XX parallel to the front face and by a pivoting assembly along a horizontal axis perpendicular to the axis XX and to the axis of the lifting arm.

- la figure 2 est une vue de droite de la figure 1.The invention is shown by way of non-limiting example in the accompanying drawings in which:
  • FIG. 1 is a schematic vertical section view of the installation,
- Figure 2 is a right view of Figure 1.

The installation shown in the drawings essentially comprises a cabin 1, for example made of aluminum sheet, which is provided with an open front side face 2. This front face is intended to be placed opposite the wall of the building to be cut down so that the workers placed on the floor 3 can project onto the building using a nozzle, solid particles conveyed by air under pressure.

These particles consist of dry silica powder whose dimensions are between 1 and 70 microns, so that effective cleaning of the building can be carried out quickly, without damaging its facade.

This intermediate partition 4 is provided with a battery of fans 5 which are intended to 'suck in the air located in the front zone 2 1 and which contains suspended particles of silica powder in order to project this air onto a filter panel 6 arranged parallel and behind the partition 4.

The rear lateral face 7 of the cabin is provided with openings 7 1 . On the lower edge of these openings are fixed panels 8 which are inclined towards the outside and towards the top of the cabin in order to constitute deflectors preventing the air sucked in by the fans 5 and which has passed through the filtering panel 6 from being projected horizontally outside the cabin.

Before each fan 5 opens a tube 9 1 for spraying water, while on the upper edge of the front face of the filter panel 6 there is also a ramp 9 2 for spraying water.

The pipes 9 1 by projecting water onto the blades of the fans, have the effect of humidifying the air and the solid particles aspirated so that these particles are deposited against the front face of the filter panel 6. Next, the water flowing from the ramp 9 2 against the panel 6 constantly washes the front face of this panel so that the mixture of water and particles is recovered in a hopper 10 forming the underside of the cabin, then discharged by a conduit 11.

The tubing 9 1 and the ramp 9 2 are supplied with pressurized water by a flexible pipe 12.

The open front face 2 of the cabin is provided with an surround 13 made using a flexible material 13 1 such as a tarpaulin, mounted on a frame 13 2 made using inflatable tubes by l 'air.

This surround thus comprises a front peripheral flange 13 3 and flanges 13 4 which connect the flange 13 3 to the periphery of the front face 2.

L'axe de pivotement 18 est perpendiculaire à l'axe X-X et à l'axe 141 du bras de levage 14.The cabin 1 is supported at the end of the lifting arm 14 of a lifting machine. The connection between the cabin and the arm comprises two concentric tubes 15 and 16, one of which, 15, is fixed to the base of the hopper 10 and the other of which, 16, is fixed to a pivoting yoke 17, by the intermediate an axis 18, on the arm 14. The outer tube 15 comprises at its base a toothed wheel 15 1 with which meshes an endless screw 15 2 driven by a hydraulic motor 15 3 . The concentric tubes 15 and 16 therefore constitute a rotational mounting of the cabin along a vertical axis XX parallel to the front face 2 of the cabin. The pivot axis 18 is perpendicular to the axis XX and to the axis 14 1 of the lifting arm 14.

The pivoting of the yoke 17 is ensured by a hydraulic cylinder 19 so as to be able to modify the inclination of the cabin and, also, so as to be able to place this cabin horizontally in the extension of the arm 14 when moving hoist. The rotation of the tubes 15 and 16 relative to each other using the motor 15 3 makes it possible to modify the orientation of the cabin so as to have the face 2 facing the building to be swallowed without being obliged to modify the position of the lifting device.
