Des weiteren zeigt die DE-A 2932087 Verschwenkvorrichtungen, mit deren Hilfe der Bahnverlauf jeweils so festgelegt wird, dass stets die oberen und unteren Druckwerkzylinderpaare zugänglich sind. Dieser Schwenkmechanismus für die Bahnführungselemente ist ebenfalls konstruktiv aufwendig und erfordert zudem für jede Bahnführung eine spezielle Einstellung. Eine ähnliche, aber bereits wesentlich einfachere Konstruktion offenbart schliesslich die EP-A 0047909, jedoch ist auch hier eine Einstellung der Bahnführungswalzen für die einzelnen Wege erforderlich. Diese zeigt in schematischer Darstellung eine der beiden Seitenwände 1 eines Druckwerkes für eine Rollenrotationsdruckmaschine für Offsetdruck. In diesem Druckwerk sind die Zylinder 4 bis 9 etwa Y-förmig angeordnet, wobei um einen gemeinsamen, zentralen Zylinder 4 Gummizylinder 5, 6, 7 angeordnet sind, denen jeweils ein Plattenzylinder 8, 9, 10 zugeordnet ist. Jedem der Zylinderpaare 5, 8; 6, 9; 7, 10 ist einem der Feucht- und Farbwerke 11, 12; 13, 14; 15, 16 zugeordnet. Dadurch wird stets zwischen den Traversen bzw. dem aufsteigenden Bahnführungsabschnitt A und den Füssen 3 der Druckwerkseitenwände 1 ein freier Raum geboten, der einer Bedienungsperson ein ungehindertes Arbeiten an den unteren Zylindern 7, 10 und dem zugeordneten Feucht- und Farbwerk 15, 16 ermöglicht. Ein weiterer wesentlicher Vorteil besteht zusätzlich darin, dass auch die Zylinder 5 und 8 gut von unten zugänglich sind. Ebenso bleiben die Zylinder 6 und 9 frei zugänglich. Claims (4)

1. Printing unit for a web-fed rotary printing machine in which the cylinders mounted in two printing unit side walls are arranged approximately in a Y-configuration and into which a web to be printed can be introduced, after an upwardly directed web guide section, laterally between two printing unit cylinders, characterised in that the side walls (1) each have approximately the shape of a one-legged H and in that the rising web guide section (A) of the web (17) to be printed is guided between crosspieces (20) supporting guide rollers (18, 19), and these cross pieces are arranged approximately in the place of the missing leg of the printing unit side walls (1) so that between the crosspieces (20) and the single leg (3) of each printing unit side wall (1) there is provided a space accessible to an operator (I).
