Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a lathe device for weaving machines, in particular for double rapier weaving machines for double velvet or carpets, in order to obtain corrugated edges.
Twisting devices are used in fabrics to position part of the warp threads, the so-called leno threads, once on the right and once on the left of the standing threads. As a result, the leno threads are twisted or wound around the standing threads.
The devices for performing this operation are quite complex and various attempts have been made to simplify them.
Among other things, DE-GM 80 05 822 describes a solution in which standing threads are positioned by needles on the one hand, and leno threads are positioned on the other by combined movement of levers provided with eyes and a guide plate provided with oblique slots that form the leno threads. This lathe device requires three shed forming elements with the associated weaving frames, namely a weaving frame with
Of course, this is also not a simple drive that requires three elements from the existing shed device, such as a dobby or cam machine. It is also an independent angle synchronous adjustment - left and right separately - not possible with regard to the main shaft.
The object of the invention is to realize a lathe device in which the drive is independent of the dobby, which does not require additional looms, and in which the angle-synchronous adjustment with respect to the main shaft is possible. The lathe device for a weaving machine according to the invention is characterized by four-bar parallelograms with vertically standing front sides, to each of which the needles, the thread eye holders or the thread positioning eyes are fastened, while the rear side carries the joints around which the other bars of the parallelograms extend. and move so that the needles as well as the thread eye holders and the positioning eyes make a vertical movement and only describe a very small arc.
The linkage forming the parallelograms can be built modularly next to one another, the joints being connected to the frame and adjustable in width.
Further features and advantages of a lathe device for looms according to the invention result from the description of a lathe device for a loom, as shown in the drawing, the drawing showing a perspective view of such a lathe device.
In a leno device of a weaving machine, as shown in the figure, the warp threads are in standing
The lathe device according to the invention consists of various parallelograms formed by rods. The rod parallelogram of the standing
In the same way, the leno threads 3, 4, ... and 5, 6, ... are guided through the
Likewise, the leno threads 3, 4, ... and 5, 6, ... continue through the
The parallelogram linkages are arranged modularly next to each other on hinges connected to the frame and the width can be adjusted to the fabric width to be woven. The position of the needles, slits and eyes can be adjusted with the help of set screws on the vertical pull rods.
The
The angularly synchronous setting is achieved by rotating the
