Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Zerschneiden eines Schaumkunststoffkörpers oder dergleichen, mit einem Schneiddrahtsystem, dessen zueinander im wesentlichen parallele Schneiddrähte mit ihren Enden an zumindest zwei mit Abstand voneinander angeordneten, parallel zueinander und senkrecht zu den Schneiddrähten verlaufenden Halterungsstäben exzentrisch befestigtsind, welche im Bereich ihrer Enden in einem den Schaumkunststoffkörper umgreifenden, als U-Rahmen mit oberer Traverse ausgebildeten Tragrahmen drehbar gelagert und mit Hilfe eines den unteren Enden der Halterungsstäbe zugeordneten Oszillationsantriebes um ihre Längsachse hin und her verschwenkbar sind.The invention relates to a device for cutting a foam plastic body or the like, with a cutting wire system, the cutting wires of which are essentially parallel to one another and are eccentrically fastened with their ends to at least two holding rods arranged at a distance from one another, parallel to one another and perpendicular to the cutting wires, which are in the region of their ends in a support frame encompassing the foam plastic body, designed as a U-frame with an upper cross member, and rotatable about its longitudinal axis by means of an oscillation drive assigned to the lower ends of the holding rods.

Eine derartige Vorrichtung ist aus der EP-A-0 003 167 und der zur selben Patentfamilie gehörenden US-A-4 222 299 bekannt. Beim Betrieb solcher Vorrichtungen kann es zu Schneiddrahtrissen und/oder Brüchen von die Schneiddrähte spannenden endseitigen Schraubenfedern kommen. Grundsätzlich besteht dann zwar die Möglichkeit, nur diesen Schneiddraht bzw. die betreffende Schraubenfeder auszuwechseln. Hierfür wird jedoch verhältnismäßig viel Zeit benötigt, in der die Vorrichtung nicht weiter arbeiten kann. Zur Verkürzung dieser Stillstandszeiten ist die bekannte Vorrichtung für Wechslung sämtlicher Schneiddrähte ausgelegt. Zu diesem Zweck sind die Schneiddrähte über von den Halterungsstäben lösbare Zusatzleisten mit den Halterungsstäben verbunden. Zum Wechsel der Gesamtheit der Schneiddrähte werden daher die Zusatzleisten mit sämtlichen Schneiddrähten von den Halterungsstäben abgenommen und andere Zusatzleisten mit Schneiddrähten an den Halterungsstäben befestigt. Diese Maßnahmen erfordern mindestens zwei Personen mit hoher Geschwindigkeit, weil die Halterungsstäbe einen verhältnismäßig großen Abstand voneinander haben und die Zusatzleisten mit den zwischenliegenden Schneiddrähten kein starres Bauteil bilden.Such a device is known from EP-A-0 003 167 and US-A-4 222 299 belonging to the same patent family. Der Tragrahmen 5 ist mit seitlichen Zapfen 17 in die Einhängeausnehmungen 12 eingehängt und ebenso wie die Hilfstragkonstruktion 13 als U-Rahmen mit oberer Traverse ausgebildet. Eine untere Traverse fehlt, weil sich an der entsprechenden Stelle andere Maschinenteile befinden, wie beispielsweise ein Transportband für den Schaumkunststoffkörper 1. Jedenfalls ist die Hilfstragkonstruktion 13 als Teil des Maschinengestells dargestellt; sie könnte aber auch, wie oben schon einmal angedeutet worden ist, auf einem im Maschinengestell verfahrbaren Wagen angeordnet sein. Die den Tragrahmen 5 in Position haltenden Widerlager 15 bestehen aus Kugelkalottenausnehmungen 18 an der Hilfstragkonstruktion 13, in die bei betätigter Anpreßeinrichtung 14 entsprechend geformte Kugelkalottenvorsprünge 10 am Tragrahmen 5 eingreifen. Nicht dargestellt ist, daß die Stromanschlüsse für die elektrisch beheizbaren Schneiddrähte 4 aus entgegen der Anpreßeinrichtung 14 federbelasteten Kohlebürsten für die Halterungsstäbe 3 bestehen, welche Kohlebürsten somit beim Betätigen der Anpreßeinrichtung 14 einen selbsttätigen Stromanschluß besorgen.The support frame 5 is suspended with lateral pins 17 in the suspension recesses 12 and, like the auxiliary support structure 13, is designed as a U-frame with an upper cross member. It is not shown that the power connections for the electrically heatable cutting wires 4 consist of carbon brushes, which are spring-loaded against the pressing device 14, for the mounting rods 3, which carbon brushes thus provide an automatic power connection when the pressing device 14 is actuated.

Fig. 1 entnimmt man, daß der Tragrahmen 5 nach Lösen der Anpreßeinrichtung 14 mit Hilfe einer Hubeinrichtung 20, die mit einem Tragrahmenmagazin zusammenarbeiten kann, von der Hilfstragkonstruktion 13 entfernbar ist. Hierbei wird der Tragrahmen 5 mit unteren seitlichen Zapfen 21 auf Schrägführungen 22 der Hilfstragkonstruktion 13 geführt. Diese Schrägführungen 22 tragen beim Einführen eines anderen Tragrahmens 5 auch dafür Sorge, daß letzterer in die zutreffende Stellung gelangt. Die Anpreßeinrichtung 14 besteht aus zwei den Enden des Tragrahmens 5 zugeordneten Pneumatikzylinderkolbenanordnungen. Auch die Hubeinrichtung 20 kann aus einer solchen Pneumatikzylinderkolbenanordnung bestehen. Fig. 2 zeigt, wie die radialen Steckkupplungen 16 ausgebildet sind; sie weisen in Längsrichtung der Halterungsstäbe 3 gesehen trapezförmige Kupplungshälften auf, die sich in Anpreßrichtung verjüngen.1 shows that the support frame 5 can be removed from the auxiliary support structure 13 after the pressing device 14 has been loosened with the aid of a lifting device 20, which can cooperate with a support frame magazine. Claims (8)

1. Equipment for cutting up a block of foamed plastics or the like, with a cutting-wire system the wires (4) of which, essentially parallel to one another, are eccentrically fastened by their ends to at least two holding rods (3) that are arranged with a spacing from one another, are parallel to one another, and extend transversely to the cutting wires (4), are rotatably supported in the region of their ends in a supporting frame (5) constructed as a U-frame with upper cross-bar and embracing the block of foamed plastics, and are swingable to and fro about their longitudinal axes by means of an oscillation drive (6) linked to the lower ends of the holding rods (3), characterised in that the supporting frame (5) is suspended at its upper end by transverse pegs (17) in suspension recesses (12) of an auxiliary supporting construction (13) so that it is swingable about an axis (11) parallel to the cutting wires (4), and at its lower end is held by means of a releasable compression device (14) against retaining abutments (15) on the auxiliary supporting construction (13), in which the auxiliary supporting construction (13) is constructed as a U-frame with an upper cross-bar, and the free lower ends of the holding rods (3) are connected via radial plug-in couplings (16) to the oscillation drive (6).
2. Equipment according to Claim 1, characterised in that the auxiliary supporting construction (13) is part of the machine frame.
3. Equipment according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the retaining abutments (15) consist of spherical segment recesses (18) for correspondingly-shaped spherical segment projections (19) on the supporting frame (5).
4. Equipment according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the current connections for the electrically-heatable cutting wires (4) consist of carbon brushes for the holding rods (3), springloaded against the compression device (14).
5. Equipment according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the supporting frame (5), after release of compression device (14), is removable from the auxiliary supporting construction (13) by means of a lifting device (20).
6. Equipment according to Claim 5, characterised in that the supporting frame, when lifted by the lifting device (20), is guided by lower transverse pegs (21) along sloping guideways (22) of the auxiliary supporting construction (13).
7. Equipment according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the compression device (14) and the lifting device (20) consist of pneumatic piston-cylinder mechanisms.
8. Equipment according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the radial plug-in couplings (16) possess halves of the coupling that are of trapezium shape when viewed in the direction of length of the holding rods (3) and taper in the direction of compression.
