Description
The invention relates to an outsole for shoes, in particular for sports shoes, with the features according to the preamble of claim 1.
In a known sports shoe sole of the type specified above (DE-OS 29 04 540), several recesses running transversely to the longitudinal direction of the sole are provided in the sole body under the footprint for the heel, into which support bodies can be inserted from the side edge of the sole. The outsole is made of a relatively soft, resilient plastic material and is only intended for lightweight runners without additional stiffening by the support body. However, the hardness and thus the damping ability of the outsole in the heel area can be changed by choosing differently hard and / or rigid support bodies, so that it can be tailored to the individual needs of runners of any weight.
In order to ensure that the support bodies are retained in their associated recesses even when the sole is subjected to bending and flexing stresses during use, the recesses are continuous, i. H. open to both edges of the sole and the support bodies have collars or the like at their two ends. with which they can support themselves against being pressed out in both directions on the edge of the sole. The support bodies can each consist of two parts which can be inserted into the associated recess from opposite sole edges and can be connected to one another in a positive and / or non-positive manner in the interior of the recess. A continuous formation of the recesses is, however, only practical if the recesses run transversely to the longitudinal direction of the sole, since otherwise a recess running in the longitudinal direction of the sole would have to penetrate the entire length of the sole. Difficulties arise, however, if an adjustable heel cushioning is also to be realized near the heel-side sole edge at which the attachment process begins with the foot, because transverse recesses are relatively short there due to the normally existing heel-side sole curve and correspondingly short support bodies inserted therein at best due to a compressibility of your material, but not sufficiently effective due to the ability to bend.
The invention is therefore based on the object of designing an outsole of the type described in such a way that the support bodies can also develop their support action near the heel-side sole edge.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by the configuration according to the characterizing part of claim 1.
According to the invention, two recesses are thus provided, which with respect to their longitudinal extent at an angle - z. B. 90 ° - run to each other and meet under the footprint for the heel in the sole body. The recess extending in the longitudinal direction of the sole can extend from the sole edge on the heel side, while the recess extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the sole is open to the lateral edge of the sole in a known manner. The support body directed in the longitudinal direction of the sole can have a sufficient length so that its ability to bend, not only its elastic compressibility which may be present, is used for controlling the damping ability of the sole. However, since the recess running in the longitudinal direction of the sole ends blindly for obvious reasons, precautions must be taken to ensure that the support body inserted therein cannot be pressed out during use. This is achieved in that the end of the support body pushed in from the lateral sole edge can be pressed into a lateral opening of the longitudinally extending support body - or vice versa - and after a first possible configuration can be locked therein, so that the two support bodies are locked together and mutually prevent it from slipping out. A particularly effective locking is achieved if, according to a further embodiment of the invention, at least one of these openings in the support body extending in the longitudinal direction of the sole extends through it transversely and is aligned with a lateral recess which completely penetrates the sole width, into the lateral recess and through the opening the support body through a rod-shaped support body - z. B. according to DE-OS 29 04 540 - is slidable. This rod-shaped support body can, as described at the beginning, be supported by means of collars at its two ends on the edge of the sole or in a force-fitting and form-fitting manner in the recess, so that it is itself secured against being pressed out under the flexing stress of the sole. The through opening provided in the support body does not have to be completely enclosed by the support body, but can also form a groove in the top or bottom thereof, through which the lateral support body runs.
The recess running in the longitudinal direction of the sole and accordingly the support body arranged therein can be arranged symmetrically to the heel apex and center line of the sole. However, it may be expedient to have this recess inclined at an acute angle to the center line of the sole, so that the mouth of the recess on the edge of the sole is offset toward the outside. Thus, the support body extending in the longitudinal direction of the sole lies with its rear end in the area of the touchdown point of the heel and the rolling process can follow the course of this support body According to this angular displacement, the lateral recesses and associated supporting bodies can also be offset or pivoted by the same amount and in the same direction, so that the pronation and the subsequent antipronation during the rolling process are taken into account.
The recess extending in the longitudinal direction of the sole and the support body arranged therein can also be curved or curved, the arch extending from the sole center line to the outside of the heel for the reasons given above.
Advantageously, the recesses and consequently also the support bodies have a flat rectangular cross section, i. H. the support bodies are plate-shaped, so that a «platform can be created by two support bodies under the heel contact area in the outsole, the flexibility (flexibility and compressibility) can be changed depending on the needs based on the appropriate choice of hardness and / or bending stiffness of the support body . In order to avoid the edges of the support body having an adverse effect on the sole of the foot, the upper boundary surfaces of the recesses are expediently in a common plane. For the lower boundary surfaces, i.e. H. towards the running side of the sole, this is not absolutely necessary; Here, the damping behavior of the sole can also be influenced by a different height of the recesses - and thus a different thickness of the support body.
In the described embodiment of the invention, the sole body has two recesses which run at an angle to one another and thus allow a correspondingly angular platform formed by the support body. The opening, which is open toward the side edge of the sole, is expediently formed in the outward-pointing half of the sole body, so that the damping capacity can be controlled in this area, via which the foot's rolling process takes place from the heel. If, according to a further embodiment, the inward-facing part of the outsole is also to be adjustable with regard to its damping capacity, then the transverse recess can be open towards the opposite side edges, and the support bodies are mutually locked in that the support body extending in the longitudinal direction occurs on both opposite sides has an opening for locking the two inserted from the side support body or a continuous transverse support body in its rearward side has the opening to be able to fix the end of the longitudinally extending support body therein.

The sports shoe shown in Fig. 1 has an outsole 1, which is composed of a
As can be seen from FIG. 2, the midsole 3 in the area under the heel contact surface has a recess 5 that is open towards the heel-side sole edge and is flat rectangular in cross section and also rectangular in plan (FIG. 2). The recess 5 extends beyond the point of the midsole 3, which lies below the arch on the heel of the foot. At an angle of 90 °, two
In the longitudinal recess 5, a
In the
The
In the
The
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4, the design of the sports shoe itself is unchanged, so that the same reference numerals are used for the corresponding parts as in FIGS. 1 and 2. However, the embodiment shown here differs from that previously described by the type and design of the recesses and the supporting bodies used therein.
Wie sich aus Fig. 4 ergibt, weisen die Öffnungen 11', 11" ebenfalls an ihren beidseitigen Mündungen Erweiterungen auf, die das Einschieben der Stützkörper 16', 17' erleichtern.4, an arcuate recess 5 'extends from the heel-side sole edge in the longitudinal direction of the sole, the outer mouth of which is offset toward the outside of the heel toward the sole center line ML, which is shown in dash-dotted lines and coincides with the heel apex line. Approximately transversely to the longitudinal direction of the sole, two mutually parallel, cross-sectionally recesses 6 ', 7' are provided in the midsole 3, both of which penetrate the recess 5 'running from the rear and the entire width of the sole. In the recess 5 'which extends in the longitudinal direction of the sole, a correspondingly designed support body 10' with a rectangular cross-section is inserted, which is provided with openings 11 ', 11 "which cross its width. When inserted, these openings 11', 11" are aligned with the transversely extending recesses 6 ', 7', so that rod-shaped
With regard to the choice of material for the support bodies 10 ', 16' and 17 ', what has been said above in connection with the embodiment according to FIGS. 1, 2 applies. In a departure from the embodiment shown, the support body 10 ', like the associated recess 5', can be straight and arranged such that it forms an acute angle of, for example, 10 to 15 ° with the sole center line ML. In this case, it is expedient, as explained at the outset, to "pivot" the support bodies 16 ', 17' by the same angle and around the center of the heel contact area, so that they penetrate the sole width at an angle. The same arrangement can also be carried out easily in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2. It is only essential that at least two support bodies are arranged at an angle to one another with respect to their longitudinal extent and - in deviation from the design according to the aforementioned DE-OS 29 04 540, in which parts of one and the same support body each ver are .bindable - can be locked together, these support bodies extending essentially in the longitudinal direction of the sole or transversely to the longitudinal direction of the sole.
