Die Erfindung betrifft einen Nebenluft-Zugregler gemäss Oberbegriff des Hauptanspruches.The invention relates to a secondary air draft regulator according to the preamble of the main claim.

Eine solche Belüftung des Schornsteins ist aber insbesondere in Rücksicht auf den Betrieb moderner Heizungskessel anzustreben, da diese in der Regel als sog. Tief- bzw. Am Gehäuse 1 ist mittels eines geeigneten Halters 9' der Klappenstellmotor 9 angeordnet, der über einen auf die Regelklappe 5 oder den Ausleger 6 wirkenden Mitnehmer die Regelklappe 5 für die Belüftung voll öffnet und bei Rückstellung die Regelklappe 5 zur frei pendelnden Bewegung freistellt (Fig. 2, 3). Secondary air draught regulator for installation in a flue gas duct, consisting of a housing (1) with inflow and outflow connectors (2, 3), on which a secondary air inflow opening (4) is disposed laterally, said opening (4) being closed by means of a regulating flap (5) in the resting position which can be swung about a horizontal spindle (8), the dimensions of the regulating flap (5) arranged in the housing (1) being slightly greater than the dimensions of the secondary air inflow opening (4) and the regulating flap (5) having a arm (6) with an adjustable counterweight (7), and the regulating flap (5) also pivoting into the housing (1) in opening, characterised in that the inflow and outflow connectors (2, 3) are arranged on the housing (1) in the direction of axial throughflow, and the spindle (8) of the regulating flap (5), which acts as an exhaust gas, draught limiting and ventilation flap and which extends parallel to the direction of throughflow in the closed position, is provided at the inflow side on the associated edge of the secondary air inflow opening (4) and a flap actuating motor (9) known per se, is provided on the housing 1, which fully opens the regulating flap (5), for ventilation by means of an engaging member acting on the regulating flap (5) or on the arm (6), and, when reset, releases the regulating flap (5) to move in freely swinging manner.

Secondary air draught regulator according to claim 1, characterised in that the regulating flap (5) is provided with a sleeve (10), and corresponding sleeves (10') are provided at the end of the secondary air inflow opening (4) nearest the inflow connector (2), and the regulating flap (5) is hinged- ly connected to the housing (1), by means of the spindle (8) passing through the sleeves (10,10'), in the manner of a strap hinge.

Secondary air draught regulator according to claim 1, characterised in that the regulating flap (5) is provided with a bent portion (11) and the end of the secondary air inflow opening (4) nearest the inflow connector (2) is provided with an abutment edge (12) on which the bent portion (11) is supported.
4. Secondary air draught regulator according to claim 3, characterised in that on the abutment edge (12) there is provided at least one tongue (13) and on the bent portion (11) there are a number of openings (11), corresponding to the number of tongues (13), in which the tongues (13) engage.

Secondary air draught regulator according to claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the flap actuating motor (9) mounted on the housing (1) of the draught regulator (15) and comprising a drive shaft coaxial with the spindle (8) is provided with a cam disc (16) and this disc (16) has two cams (18, 19) offset by not more than 90° relative to each other and bracketing the engaging lever (17), the free angle between the facing inner sides of the cams (18, 19) being not more than 80°.

Secondary air draught regulator according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the regulating flap (5) has a flanged edge (20) pointing towards the secondary air inflow opening (4) and the secondary air inflow opening (4) has a corresponding, oppositely directed rolled-in edge (21) in which the edge (20) engages in the closed position.

Secondary air draught regulator according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the regulating flap (5) and arm (6) are integrally formed and the arm (6) is constructed as a lug-shaped extension which has at its free end, a stamped channel (22) which is provided with a slotted hole (23) aligned with the arm (6), and the bolt (24) which joins the counterweight (7) to the arm (6) has a base (25) which fits the shape of the channel and the bolt (24) can be secured in the desired angular position by means of a lock-nut (26).
