Description

The invention relates to a door leaf according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

A door leaf according to the preamble of claim 1 is known from AT-B-360 732. The tubes on this door leaf have a filling that releases fire-insulating gases when exposed to heat.

Such a door leaf is manufactured using a sandwich-type construction, i.e. the bars with the lateral metal strips are bordered by layers to be arranged laterally, the manufacture of such a door leaf requiring individual, complex manufacturing steps, since the bars are to be used individually and are to be brought into engagement with the lateral metal strips.

The invention has for its object to design a door leaf of the type mentioned in such a way that it offers sufficient security against break-ins and can be produced in a simple manner.

This object is achieved by the features specified in the characterizing part of patent claim 1.

Further configurations of the door leaf result from the subclaims.

The invention provides a door leaf in which the metal rods can be used in individual or in a plurality of the tubes of the chipboard. The fact that the rods are rigidly attached to at least one vertical frame part at predetermined intervals, which are matched to the spacing of the tubes, advantageously allows a prefabricated, comb-shaped unit to be produced, whereby the rods can be inserted into the tubes from one side of the door leaf or two such units can be inserted into the door leaf from the opposite sides while overlapping the bar groups. The process of inserting the comb-shaped units can advantageously also take place mechanically.

According to a preferred embodiment of the door leaf, a powdery material is filled into the cavity formed between the respective tube wall and the associated rod, which according to a preferred embodiment has fire-retardant properties. In the case of the door leaf, sawing is prevented by the metal bars used. In addition, the door leaf can have fire-retardant properties, with the fire-extinguishing or fire-retardant effect of the powder material introduced and at least delaying the burn-through of the door leaf in the event of a partial erosion of the door leaf.

The metal frame used in a preferred embodiment and at least partially enclosing the door leaf edges prevents access to the metal bars and thus access to the ends of the metal bars in the region of the vertical frame parts.

According to the invention, the rods are rigidly connected on one end face to the vertical frame part, for example by welding, so that the metal rods in the form of a comb and through if the corresponding sections between the rods and in accordance with the spacing of the individual tubes in the chipboard are observed Bracket one of the vertical frame parts can be inserted into the associated tubes of the door leaf in one operation. In this way, not only is burglary security improved, but also the insertion of the rods into the tubes is considerably simplified. The remaining cavities in the door leaf can then be filled with fire-retardant material. As a result of the filled tubes of the chipboard, the door leaf also shows soundproofing properties.

  • Fig. 1 eine schematische Ansicht eines Türblattes,
  • Fig. 3 eine in vergrößertem Maßstab gehaltene Teilschnittansicht gemäß Fig. 2.
A preferred embodiment of the door leaf is described below with reference to the drawing. Show it:
  • 1 is a schematic view of a door leaf,
  • Fig. 2 is a sectional view taken along the line II-II in Fig. 1, and
  • 3 is a partial sectional view according to FIG. 2, kept on an enlarged scale.

Um die Metallstäbe 4 innerhalb der Röhren 3 zu fixieren, wird der Hohlraum zwischen der Innenwand derFig. 1 shows a schematic representation of a door leaf, which consists of a tubular chipboard 1 and a peripheral frame 2, preferably a metal frame. The tube chipboard 1 contains essentially horizontally extending tubes 3, 6, which extend completely continuously between the two end edges. From the vertical sectional view of FIG. 2 it can be seen that the tubes 36 are formed at equal distances from one another. In these tubes, which have a diameter of approximately 22 mm, rods made of metal are inserted at predetermined intervals, preferably iron rods, which are denoted by 4. According to one embodiment, the metal rods 4 are inserted in every other tube. In this embodiment, half of all tubes 36 are thus provided with a metal rod 4. The number of tubes, in each of which a metal rod is inserted, may depend on the height of the door and the desired security against burglary, as well as on the desired maximum weight of the door leaf. The diameter of the metal rods 4 used is much smaller than the diameter of the individual tubes. In order to fix the metal rods 4 inside the tubes 3, the cavity between the inner wall of the

Tubes 3 and the metal rod 4 filled with a material 5, preferably in the form of fire extinguishing powder or the like. The tubes which do not contain any metal rods 4 and which are designated by 6 in FIG. 3 are also preferably filled with the material 5. If the material 5 has fire-retardant properties or if a fire-extinguishing powder is used as the material 5, this leads to a fire-retardant property of the entire door leaf, the fire-retardant property starting at least after the door panel has been partially burned down and delaying or preventing the door panel from burnt through. At the same time, the use of a filler material 5 ensures that the door leaf is given soundproofing or soundproofing properties.

The metal bars 4 preferably run over the entire length of the respective tube 3, i.e. from a vertical metal frame section 2a to the opposite vertical frame section 2b and are gripped by the vertical metal frame sections 2b at their end faces or ends. The metal frame 2 has the profile shown in FIG. 2, so that two substantially parallel legs 7, 8 of the metal frame 2 at least partially surround the door leaf and thus prevent access to the ends of the metal bars 4 in the area of the frame sections 2a, 2b.

In a further embodiment, metal rods 4 are used which have a slightly smaller diameter than the diameter of the tubes 3 and thus have a certain intrinsic stability. These metal rods 4 are fastened, for example, to the frame part 2a in the manner of a comb, for example by welding or screwing, so that they can be inserted as a unit and fastened to the frame part 2a simultaneously into the associated tubes 3 of the chipboard 1. For this purpose, the metal bars 4 are arranged perpendicularly with respect to the door leaf folded 90 ° in relation to FIG. 1, in order then to be inserted into the tubes 3 with the aid of the frame part 2a as a holding part. The door leaf is then turned through 180 ° so that the frame part 2a comes to rest on the bottom and the still free tubes 6 or the remaining cavities of the tubes 3 are filled with the material. The metal frame is then placed and fastened overall around the door leaf in a known manner.

With a diameter of approximately 22 mm, the individual tubes 3, 6 maintain a distance of approximately 4 mm from one another. As can be seen from FIG. 3, there is a hard fiber layer 9, 10 on both sides of the chipboard 1, which form the outer surface of the door leaf. The hard fiber layers have a thickness of 4 mm, for example. The dimensions given above are only to be considered as an example, in particular the distance between the individual tubes 3 and 6 can be larger or smaller if necessary.

The profile of the metal frame 2 shown with reference to FIG. 2 has an essentially W-shape, the middle section coming to lie in the door edge region. Instead of this metal frame 2, an essentially U-shaped metal frame 2 can be used, the legs 7, 8 of which overlap the door leaf on both sides.

Any suitable, preferably also fire-retardant or fire-extinguishing agent can be used as the material 5 for filling the tube cavities, for example also a material which foams up when exposed to heat, which preferably holds the metal rods 4 in the center of each tube cavity.
