Description

The invention relates to a mounting rail arrangement for monorails, cranes or the like., With a self-supporting mounting rail, optionally composed of several rail pieces, and associated connecting, suspension and / or fastening elements, the mounting rail having an essentially 1-shaped cross-sectional shape with a hollow upper and has a hollow lower belt and the treads for the wheels of the monorail or crane vehicles carrying two belts are connected to one another by a flat web running in the central plane of the belts, the running surfaces being perpendicular to the central plane and lying on both sides of the central plane.

In a carrier rail arrangement known from DE-A-25 45 907 in the form of a conveyor track with a cat running on a rail, a carrier rail is used which is described in detail in DE-B-23 42 777 and in which each belt is on its own Top side has a horizontal tread for wheels and vertical guide surfaces for guide rollers of the monorail vehicles on both opposite outer sides. The cavity of each belt is accessible from the outside via a longitudinal slot running outside the tread and the guide surface, the two longitudinal slots of the belts being arranged in the vicinity of the web to which the belts are connected via inclined surfaces.

Such a mounting rail is fundamentally only suitable for top chords. They can only be attached by means of brackets which are screwed or otherwise fastened to the web and which are anchored to a ceiling or other structural parts at the other ends. However, there are applications in which such a lateral attachment or suspension of the mounting rail is unsuitable because, for example with regard to the running gear, the web should remain free on both sides or should be available for receiving power supply rails, target control elements or the like.

A support rail arrangement, as described in US Pat. No. 3,155,207, and whose support rail is designed in the form of a solid I-profile rail, is intended for lower belt chassis. The I-profile rail can be hung or supported on its flanges or belts, but holes must be drilled into the flanges or belts at the suspension or support points, which is complex and expensive for assembly. Apart from that, such an I-profile rail, which is made of solid material, is very heavy, so that for this reason alone it is out of the question for many applications, such as lighter monorail systems.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a mounting rail arrangement for monorails, cranes or the like. Which is optionally suitable both for use with upper and lower belt trolleys and is characterized by simple suspension or fastening options of the mounting rail with a high load-bearing capacity and low weight .

To solve this problem, the mounting rail arrangement mentioned at the outset is characterized in that both belts of the mounting rail are formed by tubular hollow bodies which are rectangular in cross section and which bear treads on the side adjacent to the web, that a belt is closed and also on the side facing away from the web Has treads, and that the other belt on its side facing away from the web is provided with a longitudinal slot running symmetrically to the central plane, can be used in the suspension elements for hanging the mounting rail with the top longitudinal slot or fastening elements of the mounting rail with the bottom longitudinal slot.

The mounting rail of this mounting rail arrangement is distinguished by a high load-bearing capacity because of the closed cavity of the one belt, which acts like a support tube stiffened by the web. The mounting rail arrangement can be used optionally for upper or lower belt trolleys, while on the other hand the symmetrical longitudinal slot of the slotted belt opposite the web and leading to the outside offers a simple, effective fastening or suspension option for the mounting rail without using brackets or consoles that extend laterally from the web would have to be, but in special cases, where they are desired, can also be attached optionally. The closed belt, seen transversely to the median plane, can be narrower than the other belt because its width is only in consideration of the running. areas must be dimensioned, while the slotted belt with its larger width can ensure increased stability and tipping safety. For similar considerations, the closed belt, viewed in the direction of the web, can also be lower than the other belt. It is advantageous if all pairs of outer surfaces running parallel to each other, at least the closed belt, are designed as guide surfaces, and that the belt with the longitudinal slot also has running surfaces on its side facing away from the web, so that the same mounting rail can be used for the most varied of drives can.

In a preferred embodiment, at least one row of holes extending in the longitudinal direction is formed in the web, which eliminates the time-consuming and cumbersome drilling of holes during the mounting of the mounting rail arrangement and for attachment from the side the web arranged power supply and control devices. It can also be used to screw down brackets or other construction elements. The row (s) of holes can be provided according to the respective requirements, but it is generally expedient if a row of holes is arranged on the longitudinal axis of the mounting rail.

Very simple manufacturing conditions result when the web is double-walled and its two wall parts are connected to one another by connecting means. The connecting means can - if the web is provided with at least one row of holes - be formed by hollow rivets inserted into holes in the row of holes, but spot welding of the wall parts is also conceivable. The mounting rail can be cold rolled from sheet metal.

Adjacent rail pieces of the mounting rail arrangement can be connected to one another at the abutment points by elongated connecting elements which are inserted into and fastened to the belts, of which the connecting elements provided in the slotted belt are arranged to the side of the slot, so that the belt has a longitudinal groove which opens along the slot is provided, which is not interrupted by the connecting elements.

In the slotted belt, at least one retaining plate can also be arranged which overlaps the slot and is connected to a fastening element which projects through the slot and is fastened to the belt. The holding plate can in turn be screwed to a flat holding part resting on the slotted belt by means of the fastening element. This holding part can be a console or the like. however, it can also be formed by a simple counterplate if the mounting rail is held by the fastening element designed in the manner of a tie rod.

In a modified embodiment, the holding plate can be formed in the region of the slot with a ball socket in which a corresponding ball of the fastening element designed as a tie rod is mounted. To achieve the necessary strength, the holding plate can be screwed to a correspondingly designed counterplate placed on the outside of the belt.

In the case of large free spans between adjacent fastening points and high loads, it may be expedient that a flexurally rigid profiled rail which is at least continuous over a part of the mounting rail length is placed on the slotted belt and is rigidly connected to the belt by means of the fastening elements. This profile rail can advantageously be U-shaped or C-shaped in cross section.

As already mentioned, holding elements for current collectors, target control elements or the like can be anchored to the row of holes, which can also be latched to the assigned holes in the row of holes. For this purpose, in one embodiment, the holding elements can be spring clips, for example, which are suspended at one end in a corresponding hole in the row of holes and at the other end in the slot of the slotted belt under pretension.

For applications in which a hanging or trailing cable is assigned to the vehicle or wagon traveling on the mounting rail arrangement, it is advantageous if a slider or driving element for hanging cables or the like is guided in a longitudinally movable manner on the slotted belt, which is arranged in the belt , Has bearing element mounted on both sides of the slot, to which a narrow web projecting through the slot is fastened, to which the hanging cable or the like is fastened. However, the arrangement can also be such that such a sliding or driving element for hanging cables or the like is guided in a longitudinally movable manner on one of the belts, the sliding or driving element being a bearing element which laterally grips around the belt and is mounted on the running surfaces adjacent to the web having.

The new mounting rail arrangement and the mounting rail used can be used universally for both lower and upper belt trolleys, the associated electrical conductor lines of which can be easily attached to the web at any point in an easily accessible manner. The mounting rail can be used with the closed belt pointing downwards or upwards, which results in a large number of possible combinations, particularly in the area of overhead traveling cranes, crane runways and crane bridges, and single or double-girder overhead traveling cranes. It can be used for overhead cranes with top boom carriages; when used with a longitudinal slot at the top, brackets can be screwed on for fastening separately routed power supplies (conductor rail or cable trolley track); with a slot at the bottom, the mounting rail can be screwed directly onto brackets or supports as a crane runway rail, while, as already explained, with a slot at the top, it can be hung with ball joint brackets and threaded rods and similar tie rods. It can also be screwed or clamped directly onto an existing building structure. Finally, the components of the mounting rail arrangement can also be used for the construction of portal, semi-portal, console and slewing cranes, to mention only a few further possible uses.

The carrier rail arrangement for a single-girder overhead traveling crane is illustrated in FIG. 1, the carrier of which is denoted by 1 and is supported at one end by a carriage 2 on a stationary running or carrier rail 3 and at the other end by means of a carriage 4 on a carrier rail 3a which is suspended in a fixed manner. The carrier 1, which serves as a mounting rail for two trolleys 6 coupled to one another by means of a crossmember 5, and the mounting rails 3, 3a have the same cross-sectional shape, which is shown in detail in FIG. 4:
  • The cross-sectional shape of the mounting rail 3 shown by way of example in FIG. 4 is essentially I-shaped, with a hollow upper and a hollow lower belt 7 and 8, the two belts 7, 8 being indicated by a belt 7 in the median plane indicated at 9 , 8 lying flat web 10 are interconnected. The two belts 7, 8 are designed as tubular hollow bodies with a rectangular cross-section, which on the side adjacent to the web 10 at 11 and 12, respectively, run at right angles to the central plane 9 and on both sides of the web 10 are running surfaces for wheels of overhead rail vehicles, etc. The lower belt 8 is closed, while the upper belt 7 is provided on its side facing away from the web 10 with a longitudinal slot 13 running symmetrically to the central plane 9 such that the upper belt 7 is designed like a groove.

The lower closed belt 8 is, seen transversely to the central plane 9, narrower than the upper belt 7; it is also, seen in the direction of the web, lower than the upper belt 7.

In the lower closed belt 8, the outer surface 14 opposite and parallel to the treads 12 is also designed as a tread, while in the slotted belt 7 the surfaces 15 running parallel to the treads 11 can also be used as treads, although they are in the Usually serve as mounting and contact surfaces.

The parallel surfaces 16, 17 of the upper and lower belts 7 and 8, which extend at right angles to the running surfaces 11 and 12, serve as guide surfaces for the monorail vehicles.

The mounting rail 3 is made in one piece from sheet metal in the embodiment shown, i. H. made of cold rolled steel. Your web 10 is double-walled, its two wall parts 10a, 10b being connected to one another by connecting means, for example spot welding or the like. The mounting rail 3 can be galvanized or painted in the usual way.

Arranged in the web 10 is at least one row of holes extending in the longitudinal direction and consisting of holes 18 arranged at the same distance, which is illustrated, for example, in FIG. 1 for the carrier 1. The row of holes extending in the longitudinal direction of the mounting rail is evidently arranged on the longitudinal axis of the rail, which is indicated at 19.

As can be seen from FIG. 4, the two wall parts 10a, 10b of the web 10, connecting means which connect to one another, can also consist of hollow rivets 20 which are inserted into corresponding holes 18 in the row of holes and then flanged at the edge.

The described design of the support rail 3 ensures that a rail arrangement composed of such support rail profiles can be used either for upper chord and for lower chord chassis without a profile change being necessary. This is evident from Figures 1 to 3:
  • The trolley running on the carrier rail 1 forming the trolley 6, one of which is illustrated in detail in FIG. 2, is a lower belt drive that runs with the paired wheels 21 on the treads 12 of the closed lower belt 8. The rollers 21 are as Flanged wheels formed; their flanges 22 together with the lateral guide surfaces 17 of the closed belt 8 cause lateral guidance.

The rollers 21 are otherwise rotatably mounted in a substantially U-shaped housing 23 which carries on its underside a fork piece 24, to which the cross member 5 is pivotally connected by means of a bolt 25 about a horizontal axis. An electromotive friction wheel drive can also be assigned to at least one of the trolley drives 6, which allows the trolley drives 6 to move independently on the carrier 1.

The drive 4 holding the carrier 1 on the right side (FIG. 1) is also a so-called lower belt drive, the details of which can be seen from FIG. 3:
  • On a U-shaped housing 26 paired with each other rollers 27 are rotatably mounted, which run on the running surfaces 12 of the lower belt 8 of the mounting rail 3a. The lateral guidance of the drive 4 is carried out by two guide rollers 28 which are rotatably mounted on the housing 26 with a parallel axis of rotation and which cooperate with the lateral guide surfaces 17 of the closed lower belt 8.

At the bottom of the housing 26 there is again a fork piece 29, on which the carrier 1 is suspended pivotably about a horizontal axis via a bolt 30 and a bearing part 31 (FIG. 1).

The support rail 3a is otherwise suspended from a ceiling or a corresponding structural part, which will be explained in more detail.

Above the drive 4, current collector rails 32 are fastened to the web 10 on both sides, which serve for the power supply for the electric tractor of the drive 4, which is not shown in greater detail and cooperates with the mounting rail 3.

The carriage 2 supporting the carrier 1 on the left-hand side (FIG. 1) forms a so-called upper belt chassis. It has two rollers 33 arranged one behind the other, one of which is illustrated in FIG. 1 and which run on the upward-facing tread 14 of the closed belt 8 of the running or support rail 3. The running or mounting rail 3 is supported with its slotted belt 7 on its surfaces 15 on wall brackets 34. Guide rollers 35 of the carriage 2 interact with a lateral guide surface 17 of the lower belt 7 and are mounted on a guide roller carrier 36, each rotatable about a vertical axis.

The support rails 3, 3a and the carrier 1 can have any length per se corresponding to the local conditions. If necessary, they are composed of several rail pieces, as illustrated for the carrier 1 with reference to FIGS. 5, 6:

Adjacent rail pieces are connected to one another at the joint 40 by elongated connecting elements 41, 42 which are pushed into the belts 7, 8 and fastened thereon. The connecting elements 41 pushed into the closed straps 8 are designed in the form of profiled strips with a rectangular cross-sectional shape corresponding to the inner contour of the straps 8; they are connected to the belts 8 by grooved pins 43 arranged laterally in the region of the guide surfaces 17 such that the lateral guidance of the wheel flanges 22 of the trolleys 6 is not impaired.

In the upper slotted belts 7 two cross-sectionally also strip-shaped connecting elements 42 are also fitted, which are screwed to the belts 7 by laterally arranged screw bolts 44. The connecting elements 42 are dimensioned such that they lie to the side of the longitudinal slot 13, so that the belt 7 has an open longitudinal groove in the region of the longitudinal slot 13.

The attachment of the mounting rails 3, 3a of FIG. 1 on the brackets 34 or on a ceiling or the like is illustrated in one embodiment in FIGS. 7 to 9:
  • In the slotted belt 7, the longitudinal slot 13 laterally overlapping holding plates 46 are arranged, which with a through the longitudinal slot 13 projecting outwards, formed by a screw bolt 47 formed on a flange 48 (Fig.1) of the wall brackets 34 or one on the Surfaces 15 of the slotted belt 7 lying flat holding part 49 (Fig. 7) are screwed using a nut 50.

The mounting rail 3a according to FIG. 1 can also be suspended at the required intervals in the manner shown in FIGS. 10, 11 via a ball joint connection on the ceiling or the like. At each such suspension point in the slotted upper belt 7 is a retaining plate 52 formed with a ball socket 51, which is screwed to a counter plate 53 placed on the surfaces 15 of the belt 7 on the outside by means of screws 54, the counter plate 53 at 55 in the area the ball socket 51 of the holding plate 52 has a supporting, appropriately shaped part.

A corresponding ball 56 of a tie rod 57 is mounted in the ball socket 51 and is anchored to a ceiling or the like via a threaded rod 59 secured by means of a nut 58. Since the ball socket 51 and the ball 56 lie in the cavity of the slotted belt 7, they are not only protected from the outside, but there is also a particularly low overall height of the entire arrangement.

If particularly large distances between adjacent suspension or support points have to be bridged for structural reasons with a mounting rail according to FIG. 4, the longitudinal slot 13 allows the bending stiffness of the mounting rail to be increased in a simple manner by placing a profile rail on the mounting rail. This is shown in detail in FIGS. 12, 13:
  • 12 is on the surfaces 15 of the slotted belt 7 in Cross-section of U-shaped profile rail 60 with one of its side flanges 61 attached. The connection to the mounting rail 3 takes place via the holding plates 46 already explained with reference to FIGS. 7 to 9, which are braced by means of the screw bolts 47 and the nuts 50 with the correspondingly perforated leg 61 of the profile rail 60. The free leg of the profile rail 60 opposite the longitudinal slot 13 can in turn be used to suspend or support the entire arrangement.

Of course you can. the profile rail 60 can also be fastened with its middle leg on the slotted belt 7 in the manner described, as it is also possible to use a profile rail 60 which is U-shaped in cross section or which is otherwise appropriately designed instead of the U-shaped profile rail 60.

Such a further possibility is shown in FIG. 13, where an I-beam 60a is used as the profile rail, the lower flange of which is in turn clamped on the surfaces 15 of the slotted belt 7 by means of holding plates 46. For this purpose, two bolts 47 with associated nuts 50 are provided on each holding plate 46, so that the lower web 61a of the I-profile 60a is properly clamped on both sides of the central web 62.

With reference to FIG. 3, the possibility has already been pointed out of fastening current collector rails 32 to the web 10 of the mounting rail 3, 3a. To secure the current collectors 32, the holes 18 of the row of holes already present in the web 10 can be used, as is illustrated in FIGS. 14 to 16 using two exemplary embodiments:
  • 14, the current collector rails 32 are each seated in insulating material holders 65, which are arranged at intervals and each carry an integral expanding rivet 66, which is inserted into the opening of a hollow rivet 20 and locked there. The holder 65 lie on their upper side at 67 on the associated surface 11 of the slotted belt 7, so that they are held against tipping.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 15, 16, the current collector rails 32 with their insulating material holding parts 68 are fastened to individual spring steel brackets 70 by means of hollow rivets 69, which are provided at intervals along the mounting rail 3.

Each spring clip 70 is designed essentially in accordance with the outer circumferential shape of one half of the slotted belt 7, i. H. it has a substantially U-shaped part 70a and a part 71, which is integrally formed thereon and extends to one side to a right angle, which at the end merges into a substantially L-shaped molded hook 72, which can be seen in FIGS. 15, 16 Is suspended in the cavity of a hollow rivet 20. On the other hand, the U-shaped part 70a also carries approximately semicircular molded hook part 73, which overlaps the edge of the slot 13 and thus fixes the spring clip 70 together with the L-shaped hook 72 under pretension on the mounting rail 3, without tools or for mounting the like. would be required.

Instead of the power supply rails 32, other parts required for the operation of the respective system can of course also be fastened to the web 10 in a corresponding manner, for example target control elements and the like. In addition, the holes 18 of the row of holes on the mounting rail also allow chassis stops or end caps to be fastened as illustrated for an end cap 75 and a landing gear stop 76 in FIG. 1.

For example, in the case of overhead railways or cranes, there is occasionally a need to assign suspension cables or cables to the drive, which are carried along when the trolley is moved. The profile of the mounting rail explained with reference to FIG. 4 makes it possible in a simple manner to ensure that these suspension cables or the like can be suspended without changing the profile, as is shown in FIGS. 17, 18:
  • In the embodiment according to FIG. 17, in the slotted belt 7 of the mounting rail 3 which is suspended with the longitudinal slot 13 pointing downward, a bearing element 80 which is mounted on both sides of the longitudinal slot 13 and which forms part of a sliding or driving element 81 and on which one by the Longitudinal slot 13 outwardly projecting narrow web 82 is attached, which carries a receiving eye 83 for a hanging cable shown at 84 or the like .. The bearing element 80 can be mounted in a sliding manner or by means of rollers (not shown).

In the embodiment according to FIG. 18, which comes into question in particular when the mounting rail 3 is suspended with the slotted belt 7 pointing upwards, the arrangement is such that the sliding or driving element 81 has a bearing element 80a which has the closed belt 8 is claw-like laterally encompassed with end parts 85 on the treads 12 of the closed belt 8, wherein the storage here can also be sliding or by means of rollers, not shown. The remaining parts are of the same design as in FIG. 17 and are provided with the same reference numerals, so that a further explanation is unnecessary.
