Definitions
- the invention relates to a press for the production of plastic blanks, in particular ceramic levers for insulators, with an allocation device.
- the object of the invention is to provide a press of the type mentioned, which does not require the use of a pressure screw and with which the extrusion of a plastic blank with a flat material feed relative to the blank axis can be continuously obtained without spiral texture and internal twisting. This object is achieved according to claim 1.
- the new press not only achieves the high goals of the task in an advantageous manner, but also provides an extremely low-loss press.
- the rotor according to the invention at the same time copes with the mass transport and the compression without it being possible for the inadmissible texture formation, particularly in the case of ceramic levers, to occur.
- the new press also In areas of application in which the S-shaped rotation of the lever as a result of the screw transport is not important, a device is made available which also eliminates the other disadvantages of the screw press, in particular its high friction and thus high energy requirement, since the friction on the areas of the circular rotor in contact with plastic masses is small compared to that of screw presses.
- the press can be easily provided with a vacuum chamber according to the prior art, so that the problems of venting special quality levers cannot occur.
- the mass allocation takes place via a feed screw 10, driven by an electric motor E, the feed screw 10 being feedable via a feed task 9, see FIG. Fig. 1.
- the metering screw is followed by a slotted plate 11 in which the plastic mass is divided into chips.
- the slot plate 11 primarily has the task of sealing a subsequent vacuum space 6 towards the mass loading side.
- Such a Vacuum chamber 6 has the task of venting the chips falling into it; for plastic masses in which inadmissible dehumidification can occur in the vacuum space, a spray device can also be provided.
- the mass chips reach within the vacuum space 6 a feed roller 1 which feeds a circular rotor 3.
- the feed roller 1 serves primarily to prevent an undesirable build-up of mass in the vacuum space 6.
- the circular rotor 3 with its mass transport webs 4 to be explained can cover the entire vacuum space 6 up to the wall opposite the circular rotor 3. In such a case, a press without metering roller 1 is also conceivable.
- the circular rotor 3 is mounted eccentrically in the rotor housing 2.
- the rotor housing 2 is preferably cylindrical, however, based on the known rotary piston rotors, a different rotor housing shape can be selected, for which the circular rotor is then correspondingly designed with the mass transport webs.
- the circular rotor 3 has at least one mass transport web 4, which is positively guided along a guide path F in the rotor housing 2.
- these mass transport webs 4 - at least one mass transport web 4 is required - are sliders sliding back and forth in the circular rotor, which can be formed when using a plurality of mass transport webs 4 as Maltese cross bars.
- An outlet sector 15 opens up behind the outlet cross section 8a and extends to a doctor blade 13. As can be seen from FIG. 1, it is a defined section on the circumference of the rotor housing 2.
- the size of the outlet sector 15 is determined when using a mass transport web 4, the height of its outlet cross section 8a, the eccentricity of the circular rotor and the diameter ratio Circular rotor determined to rotor housing.
- the positively controlled mass transport webs 4 the mass quantity supplied by the mass transport segment 7, spread over the desired layer thickness.
- the outlet sector 15 is followed by a mouthpiece 5 in which a lever is formed from the plastic mass, the pre-compressed mass depending on the Size of the mass transport segment 7 is spread across the surface.
- the mass quantity delivered per mass transport segment 7 is decisive for the spreading thickness.
- mouthpieces are known per se.
- a mouthpiece is presented which is able to take into account the special features of the lever created by the circular rotor, see FIGS. 2a, 2b.
- Round levers are desirable for use in the ceramic industry in the manufacture of insulators.
- the mouthpiece 5 according to the invention consists of a square entrance and a round exit part 20 which is arranged directly at the connection to the exit sector 15.
- a texture centering mouthpiece 24 lies between the starting part 20 and the longer round part 21. This mouthpiece 24 can be rotated and has a sickle-shaped shape segment 25 fastened to the inside for controlling the central texture progression.
- the round part 21 tapers in a further conical funnel 22 to the desired outlet dimension 23.
- the plastic blank which can be removed at the end of the mouthpiece 5, advantageously has a central texture profile - consequently, the S-shaped texture profile of a screw press, which is undesirable for many uses, is eliminated - in addition, this plastic blank is produced with a minimum of energy expenditure, since the unfavorable friction conditions such as those of the snail are known do not exist.
- the mass transport webs can be positively guided along the rotor housing 2, this being achieved by a guide track F in the end walls of the rotor housing 2 in order to ensure a definable distance between the mass transport webs 4 and the inner wall of the rotor housing 2, see FIG. 3 the mass transport webs 4 can be positively guided along a guideway F, this guideway also being able to be arranged in the interior of the circular rotor 3 corresponding to the rotor housing 2.
- a seal 26 should be provided as far as possible between the mass transport webs 4 and the circular rotor in order to prevent the deposition and penetration of ceramic mass.
- the stripping knife 13 detaches the ceramic mass compacted in the respective mass transport segment 7 from the circular rotor 3.
- the stripping knife 13 adjusts itself automatically due to the back pressure prevailing in the mouthpiece, so that wear and tear can be compensated for during operation of the press.
- a resilient mass pressing device 27 ensures that returning mass residues remain in the rotor and mass transport web area. An uncontrolled escape of such residual masses in the vacuum space 6 is thus prevented.
- a sheet metal is used for this purpose, which extends tangentially in an area to the circle or the guide track F described by the mass transport webs.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a press for the production of plastic blanks, in particular ceramic levers for insulators, with an allocation device.
No.1 1983, Fachberichte Seite 25 ff. Presses of the type mentioned are known. Although great efforts have been made, the screw press is still the most common device for deforming plastic masses, such as those used in the ceramic industry or in the building materials industry in brick factories, see also the auditorium, v o l .116. No.1 1983
One solution is to achieve satisfactory press results, but still to be able to avoid the negative side effects of screw presses the press, which became known as a screwless extrusion press around 1972 and has a roller-shaped rotor, the so-called rotor. Along its entire length, this roller-shaped rotor is provided with ax-normal ring grooves in which the plastic masses are conveyed in the circumferential direction of the rotor. The roller-shaped rotor rotates with little play in a lying cylindrical housing, with a feed roller filling the ring grooves. Scrapers arranged tangentially are arranged in the individual grooves and carry out the plastic mass at the outlet from the roller and out of the grooves. Although a construction has become known with this rotor press in which a screw is no longer used as a pressure generating and mass transport element, the screw press could not be displaced with this known design principle.
The object of the invention is to provide a press of the type mentioned, which does not require the use of a pressure screw and with which the extrusion of a plastic blank with a flat material feed relative to the blank axis can be continuously obtained without spiral texture and internal twisting. This object is achieved according to claim 1.
Further refinements of the invention can be found in the subclaims.
The new press not only achieves the high goals of the task in an advantageous manner, but also provides an extremely low-loss press. The rotor according to the invention at the same time copes with the mass transport and the compression without it being possible for the inadmissible texture formation, particularly in the case of ceramic levers, to occur. It turns out that the new press also In areas of application in which the S-shaped rotation of the lever as a result of the screw transport is not important, a device is made available which also eliminates the other disadvantages of the screw press, in particular its high friction and thus high energy requirement, since the friction on the areas of the circular rotor in contact with plastic masses is small compared to that of screw presses. The press can be easily provided with a vacuum chamber according to the prior art, so that the problems of venting special quality levers cannot occur.

- Fig. 3 einen Schnitt durch den Kreisrotor

Fig. 1.Similar to the prior art, the mass allocation takes place via a
As in the prior art, the metering screw is followed by a
The mass chips reach within the vacuum space 6 a feed roller 1 which feeds a
The
The
- The mass supplied via the
feed screw 10 and the speed of thecircular rotor 3.
An
The
The use of mouthpieces is known per se. In cooperation with the
The plastic blank, which can be removed at the end of the
In addition to the basic training of the press described above, it can advantageously be improved by additional measures. As already stated, the mass transport webs can be positively guided along the
The stripping
A resilient mass
