In einer Klebe-oder Siegelstation werden dann die jeweils verschiedenen, befüllten Mehrstückpackungen aus der ersten und der zweiten Herstellungsvorrichtung miteinander verbunden. Dabei wird der Verbindungsstreifen des einen Verpackungsträgers mit der Deckfläche des anderen Verpackungsträgers verklebt oder versiegelt und die beiden Stützflächen mit Hilfe der Verbindungslappen aneinander befestigt. Die dadurch entstehende Doppelpackung ist äußerst stabil und bietet den verpackten Bechern einen besonders guten Schutz. Die Deckfläche 2 ist über eine weitere Faltlinie 5 mit einem Seitenstreifen 6 verbunden, welcher anschlienend an die Faltlinie 5 Öffnungen 7, 8 für die Aufnahme der Becherflansche aufweist. Diese Öffnungen erstrecken sich bis in die Fläche des Seitenstreifens 6 hinein, wodurch der Verbraucher bei der fertig befüllten Verpackung auch den oberen Bereich der Becher sehen kann, was bei transparenten Bechern ein Erkennen der Garnierung, z. B. von Dessertspeisen, ermöglicht. Die durch Einstanzungen aus dem Bereich der Seitenstreifen 6 gebildeten Ansätze 9 decken bei der aufgerichteten Verpackung die Becherflansche ab und stellen somit einen Schutz für die aufgesiegelte oder -gebördelte Verschlußfolie dar. Zwischen dem Seitenstreifen 6 und einem weiteren Seitenstreifen 14 erstreckt sich eine durch Faltlinien 10 und 13 begrenzte Stützfläche 11, welche Ausnehmungen 12 für die Becher aufweist. In die Fläche des Seitenstreifens 14 sind Verbindungslappen 15 eingestanzt, die im Bereich der Stege zwischen den Ausnehmungen 12 in der Stützfläche 11 an die Faltlinie 13 anschließen.
