Description
The invention relates to a gas burner, in particular for liquefied petroleum gas, for installation in a heat exchanger having a flame tube, in particular for space heaters, according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
A gas burner of this type is known from FR-A-2420904. In this gas burner, the burner mouthpiece is arranged coaxially in a combustion or flame tube and connected to a mixing tube which is axially aligned or at right angles to it. This mixing tube consists of a perforated square rod made of metal and also has a smooth inner surface. For a sufficient mixing of the gas-air mixture, this mixing tube must therefore be relatively long. If the mixing tube is angled to a horizontal section to avoid an unfavorable overall height of a burner, then this design in turn requires a large expansion in width. In order to improve the mixing effect in a mixing tube, it is known according to US-A-1818471, a helically ver in a Bunsen burner pipe - incorporate running guide rib. Another mixing pipe according to US-A-1357351 provides pipe bulges arranged at a distance from one another with additional longitudinal traction. These known mixing tubes are quite complex and expensive to manufacture. Their use is also limited to adapted and defined connection devices that only permit an upright mixing tube. In another gas burner with an annular burner mouthpiece for a grill (US-A - 4373505), the mixing tube can be extended like a telescope. In this case, a tube part at its insertion end a thread-like corrugation in order to change by rotation of this pipe piece, the Mischrohrlän g e. However, the inner surface of this mixing tube is largely smooth, so that no noticeable mixing effect can be expected. This mixing tube can also only extend in a straight orientation.
The invention is based on the object of creating a gas burner of the generic type which has a particularly simple, inexpensive and shortened mixing tube which can also be adapted to a plurality of burner structures.
This object is achieved with a gas burner according to the preamble of claim 1 according to the invention by the characterizing features of this claim.
Advantageous developments of the invention are described in the dependent claims.
By using a flexible metal hose with an inner rib for the mixing tube of a gas burner, the internal rib of such a metal hose causes swirling and mixing of the gas-first air mixture. This in turn leads to a shortening of the mixing tube and thus the overall height of the burner. Due to the flexibility of the hose, this mixing tube can also be bent, which means that it can be adapted to many installation options, in particular to further reduce the burner height. A flexible metal hose can also be obtained very inexpensively, easily connected to a burner mouthpiece and installed in a flame tube.
- Fig. eine erste Ausführungsform eines Gasbrenners,

- 2 shows a vertical section through a second embodiment of a gas burner which is installed in a flame tube or a heat exchanger and
- 3 shows a plan view of the gas burner according to FIG. 2.
The simple gas burner shown in FIG. 1 consists of a burner mouthpiece 1 with a
If gas enters the
The essential advantage of the mixing tube according to the invention with a corrugated or ribbed inner surface is obtained if a
When the flame is burning, the fresh air enters the pre-chamber 42, partly flows into the
The invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiments shown. The burner mouthpiece can have any other usual shape and design. The mixing tube can also narrow towards the burner mouthpiece, just as its corrugated inner surface can be limited to one or more sections. Smooth inner wall sections can be advantageous if a longer mixing tube is required for constructional reasons or is desired for other reasons and a corrugated inner surface that is too long would impair the flow conditions if a fan for supplying the fresh air is not available. In this case, the mixing tube according to FIG. 2 could consist of a flexible, corrugated or corrugated and a smooth tube part. The burner parts can also have cross sections other than circular.
