Außerdem sollen die Bogen immer glatt und ohne Wellenbildung an der Zylindermantelfläche anliegen, so daß bei nachfolgenden Arbeitsgängen, z.B. beim Falzen keine Falzdifferenzen auftreten können. Auch wird durch die Anordnung der Bürsten weitgehend eine sogenannte Eckenbildung vermieden, bei der durch die hohe Geschwindigkeit am nachlaufenden Bogenende durch eine Peitschwirkung, z.B. eine Ecke des Bogens umgeknickt wird. Der Vorteil dieser Maßnahme ist, daß z.B. beim nachfolgenden Falzen, insbesondere bei Falzexemplaren mit geringer Seitenzahl und dünnem Papier, der Falz auf Bruchteile eines Millimeters genau durchgeführt werden kann, so daß nicht nur die genaue Lage des Falzes ansich, sondern auch dessen Winkellage verbessert wird.The object is achieved according to the characterizing part of claim 1. daß die Bremsbürsten (11) an ihrem unteren Ende gelenkig an einer Spindel (13) und an ihrem oberen Ende ebenfalls gelenkig an einer Traverse (14) befestigt sind, die auf beiden Seiten an je einem Hebel (15) anliegt und von diesem getrennt verstellbar ist, derart, daß die Bremsbürsten(11) mehr oder weniger an die auf dem Zylinder (3) aufliegenden Bahnabschnitte (6) anstellbar sind.
