Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Verbessern der Durchmesser- und Wanddickentoleranzen beim Walzen einer Rohrluppe in einem Maßwalzwerk oder Streckreduzierwalz werk. Um ein Verfahren zu schaffen aus unterschiedlichen Temperaturen der Rohrluppe resultierende Durchmesser- oder Wanddickenunterschiede der fertigen Rohre zu ver meiden wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Temperatur der Luppe vor der Einführung in das Walzwerk über ihre Länge gemes sen und die Walzgeschwindigkeit durch Regelung der Drehzahl in Abhängigkeit vom Temperaturgefälle derart eingestellt wird, daß beim Walzen eine dem gemessenen Temperaturgefälle entsprechend entgegengesetzte Tem peraturerhöhung bzw. -erniedrigung der Rohrluppe erfolgt.
