Definitions
- the invention relates to a forced draft burner for boiler doors according to the preamble of the main claim.
- Such forced draft burners are known, for example, from DE-GM 8125 173, 77 075 39, US Pat. No. 2,433,317 and from DE-OS 29 12 002.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of improving a forced draft burner of the type mentioned in such a way that, on the one hand, the actual intake opening is shielded directly on the fan runner, on the other hand, with the shielding, but at the same time as low resistance as possible, a favorable flow introduction into the intake opening and the rotor can take place and this also taking into account and maintaining a compact design of the entire fan-burner unit.
- the air does not flow directly to the rotor due to the negative pressure generated by the rotor, but rather it occurs on the lateral peripheral wall of the outer suction opening there, from which, however, it does not get directly into the suction opening of the rotor housing leading to the rotor, since this suction opening is shielded by the flow guide web, which extends from the outer suction opening approximately spirally to the inner suction opening, whereby the air, that is to say with a swirl provided, noise-reduced enters the rotor.
- the inner suction opening is directed towards the boiler door, i.e.
- the additional suction housing is located between the rotor housing and the boiler lock door with only a small amount of space, i.e. there is double shielding in this arrangement, namely once through the flow guide and on the other hand through the inner suction opening directed towards the door.
- the forced draft burner is explained in more detail below on the basis of the drawing of exemplary embodiments.
- the suction housing 2 is arranged between the boiler door 14 and the bearing housing 1 below a nozzle passage duct piece lo with the nozzle assembly 12 and the burner nozzle housing 7, which is thus completely shielded from the rear and the front.
- the outer suction opening 4 is arranged only in the lateral peripheral wall 3 of the suction housing 2, but, as can be seen from FIG. 2, it also has no direct access to the inner suction opening 5, which is directly adjacent to the rotor 8 (driven by the motor 11).
- the outer suction opening 4 is namely shielded with respect to the inner suction opening 5 by the approximately spiral flow guide 6.
- the flows resulting from this configuration and arrangement are illustrated in FIG. 2 with solid lines with respect to the intake housing 2 and with dashed arrow lines with respect to the rotor housing 1.
- the rotor housing 1 On the motor side, the rotor housing 1 is, as usual, closed off with a sheet metal plate 13 which, which is not shown, also carries all other elements belonging to such a burner. As usual, the entire forced draft burner can also be assigned to the boiler door 14 so that it can be swung out.
- the suction housing 2 can, for example, be designed as a sheet metal box and be closed towards the door 14, but this is not absolutely necessary, provided that a tight seal to the door 14 is provided in another way. Furthermore, the suction housing 2, which is not shown, can be provided with a sound insulation packing along its peripheral wall 3. The same applies to rotor housing 1.
- the intake housing 2 and the nozzle passage piece 10 form a molded part, the part of the intake housing 2 on the door connection side being covered with a cover 9 made of a suitable material.
- the lower part not shown in FIG. 5, would correspond to that according to FIG. 4.
- the actual air outlet opening of the rotor housing 1 is designated 17 and forms the burner-side opening of the chamber 1 ".
- the arrangement between the door 14 and the rotor housing 1 is preferred, since this is associated with additional sound insulation.

Abstract
Description
The invention. relates to a forced draft burner for boiler doors according to the preamble of the main claim.
Derartige Gebläsebrenner sind bspw. nach DE-GM 8125 173, 77 075 39, US-PS 2 433 317 und nach der DE-OS 29 12 002 bekannt.Such forced draft burners are known, for example, from DE-GM 8125 173, 77 075 39, US Pat. No. 2,433,317 and from DE-OS 29 12 002.
With such fan burners, the noise is considerable, even if the entire fan burner unit is arranged under a cover. This is due in particular to the fact that the circular or annular suction opening on the blower housing is practically free, so that the suction noise, possibly only somewhat dampened by a cover, can penetrate to the outside fairly unhindered. On the other hand, there are further noise reduction measures that want to keep the outer dimensions of such burner fan units arranged on the door of the heating boiler in question as compact as possible.
The invention is therefore based on the object of improving a forced draft burner of the type mentioned in such a way that, on the one hand, the actual intake opening is shielded directly on the fan runner, on the other hand, with the shielding, but at the same time as low resistance as possible, a favorable flow introduction into the intake opening and the rotor can take place and this also taking into account and maintaining a compact design of the entire fan-burner unit.
This object is achieved with a forced draft burner of the type mentioned at the outset according to the invention, by what is covered in the characterizing part of the main claims. Advantageous further developments result from the sub-claims. Combinations based on
As a result of this design, the air does not flow directly to the rotor due to the negative pressure generated by the rotor, but rather it occurs on the lateral peripheral wall of the outer suction opening there, from which, however, it does not get directly into the suction opening of the rotor housing leading to the rotor, since this suction opening is shielded by the flow guide web, which extends from the outer suction opening approximately spirally to the inner suction opening, whereby the air, that is to say with a swirl provided, noise-reduced enters the rotor. Advantageously and in the preferred combination, the inner suction opening is directed towards the boiler door, i.e. the additional suction housing is located between the rotor housing and the boiler lock door with only a small amount of space, i.e. there is double shielding in this arrangement, namely once through the flow guide and on the other hand through the inner suction opening directed towards the door.
The forced draft burner is explained in more detail below on the basis of the drawing of exemplary embodiments.

According to the basic embodiment in Fig. 1, the
On the motor side, the rotor housing 1 is, as usual, closed off with a
With regard to the design of the two
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the
In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, only the
The lower part, not shown in FIG. 5, would correspond to that according to FIG. 4.
The transition of the
The actual air outlet opening of the rotor housing 1 is designated 17 and forms the burner-side opening of the chamber 1 ".
What is important in all embodiments is the shielding and flow-guiding arrangement of the approximately spiral-shaped
While maintaining the essential design of the
As said, the arrangement between the
