Definitions
- the invention relates to a drinking vessel with a conical cup in particular and a holder according to the preamble of the main claim.
- Drinking vessels according to the generic term are known per se as so-called tea glasses.
- the holder which is made of a different material, enables the glass to be raised and lowered, while at the same time serving as an insulating body, so that the heat from the tea is not transferred to the handle area via the glass.
- a major disadvantage of the known drinking vessels is that the holder consisting of the handle and the ring is not fixed relative to the cup, so that it can happen that the glass at a certain. Inclination falls out of the holder and is damaged or broken.
- Another disadvantage is often that the ring under the influence of heat: of the beverage expands and an initially force-locking, relatively firm connection between the ring and the glass is lost, so that there is also a risk in this case that the glass can slip out of the ring.
- Another disadvantage of the conventional tea glasses is that the holder engages the glass in a relatively deep area, so that the center of gravity of the filled glass is located far above the ring, making it difficult to guide the filled glass.
- a simple placement of the cup in the holder is essentially provided such that the cup remains in the holder due to gravity.
- gravity does not constantly act on objects of daily use in the same direction (e.g. campers, ships and the like), or where easy handling is required, for example in children's hands, it is therefore necessary to close a drinking vessel create that this is available during use and transport as a uniform, secure commodity.
- the invention is therefore based on the object to improve a drinking vessel of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1 in such a way that the holder is firmly connected to the drinking vessel in the state of use, so that the mug is also exposed to the effects of heat or different gravitational forces the holder is guided securely.
- the holder should be made from simple means, be easy to replace and allow safe and convenient handling of the drinking vessel.
- the holder consists essentially of a ring comprising the conical cup, in particular, and a handle such that the handle has at least one support which generates the prestress on the ring.
- the preload is applied by pushing the support, which is on a smaller diameter before assembly, during or after assembly onto a larger diameter of the outer wall of the cup.
- the bias leads to the fact that the ring surrounding the cup fits snugly over a large part of its circumference against the opposite outside wall of the cup and thus prevents unwanted displacement of the holder on the cup.
- the cup does not fall out of the ring by the fact that the upper support, which is located in the region of the edge of the cup, is provided with an edge claw which engages over the cup edge.
- a cylindrical cup with a shoulder can also be used, the ring of the holder pushing against the shoulder after being pushed onto the cup, and thus locking the cup in the axial direction in cooperation with the edge claw.
- the drinking vessel generally designated 1 in FIG. 1 essentially comprises the conical cup 2 and the drinking vessel holder generally designated 3, which consists of the handle 4 and the ring 5.
- the holder 3 is drawn in the assembled state and shows how the handle 4 is supported on the two bearings 6 and 7, which are on different diameters and press against the outer wall of the cup.
- the force exerted by the pre-tension acts maximally at point 8 shown in FIG. 1 via the ring on the outside wall of the cup and goes towards zero at the circumference in the direction of the connection point ring-grip, so that even the ring detaches from the outside wall of the cup at this point ( see Figure 2, position 12).
- the ring 5 encompassing the cup, as shown in FIG. 2, is connected to the handle approximately in the middle of the handle web (13) parallel to the outside wall of the cup, since here. a maximum preload can be introduced and transferred to the cup via the ring.
- the handle 4 has a claw 9 at the upper end, which overlaps the upper edge of the drinking vessel under pretension.
- the cup Due to the claw 9 and the conicity of the ring and the associated tight contact of the ring after assembly on a large part of the circumference, the cup is completely locked in the axial direction.
- the cup is fixed in its position by the holder both when lifting and when setting down the entire drinking vessel.
- a bead 10 as shown in FIG. 2 and often present in the case of machine-made glass cups, is not necessarily necessary for the effectiveness of the claw holder, but the cup can also be without a bead. or made of a material other than glass.
- the drinking vessel holder consists of an elastic plastic, which allows easy assembly and disassembly and is able to maintain the applied pre-tension constantly.
- the handle 4 itself is D-shaped, i.e. it is designed with an opening on the inside. This design enables safe handling even when the vessel is full and continues to create the possibility, e.g. in a camper or on a ship with a solid cord or stick to hold the drinking vessel in a specific place.
- Handle and ring as components of the holder are integrally formed.
- the reference dimension 11 (see FIG. 2) can be kept constant, while undesired shifts in the reference dimension and wear of the connection point could occur if the ring and handle were installed separately.
- FIG. 3 Further advantageous configurations of the handle are shown in FIG. 3.
- the grip openings shown there enable grasping with multiple fingers.

Abstract
In the case of a drinking vessel with holder, the holder (3) is attached to a cup (2) with a handle (4) in such a way that the handle (4) with at least one support (6, 7) rests against the outer wall of the cup under tension. As a result, the holder (3) is firmly connected to the drinking vessel (1) when in use, so that the cup (2) is guided securely in the holder even under the influence of heat or different gravitational forces.
Description
The invention relates to a drinking vessel with a conical cup in particular and a holder according to the preamble of the main claim.
Drinking vessels according to the generic term are known per se as so-called tea glasses. The holder, which is made of a different material, enables the glass to be raised and lowered, while at the same time serving as an insulating body, so that the heat from the tea is not transferred to the handle area via the glass.
A major disadvantage of the known drinking vessels is that the holder consisting of the handle and the ring is not fixed relative to the cup, so that it can happen that the glass at a certain. Inclination falls out of the holder and is damaged or broken. Another disadvantage is often that the ring under the influence of heat: of the beverage expands and an initially force-locking, relatively firm connection between the ring and the glass is lost, so that there is also a risk in this case that the glass can slip out of the ring. Finally, another disadvantage of the conventional tea glasses is that the holder engages the glass in a relatively deep area, so that the center of gravity of the filled glass is located far above the ring, making it difficult to guide the filled glass.
In the above-described embodiments, a simple placement of the cup in the holder is essentially provided such that the cup remains in the holder due to gravity. At locations where gravity does not constantly act on objects of daily use in the same direction (e.g. campers, ships and the like), or where easy handling is required, for example in children's hands, it is therefore necessary to close a drinking vessel create that this is available during use and transport as a uniform, secure commodity.
The invention is therefore based on the object to improve a drinking vessel of the type mentioned in the preamble of
This object is achieved according to the invention by the features specified in the characterizing part of
According to the invention, the holder consists essentially of a ring comprising the conical cup, in particular, and a handle such that the handle has at least one support which generates the prestress on the ring. The preload is applied by pushing the support, which is on a smaller diameter before assembly, during or after assembly onto a larger diameter of the outer wall of the cup. The bias leads to the fact that the ring surrounding the cup fits snugly over a large part of its circumference against the opposite outside wall of the cup and thus prevents unwanted displacement of the holder on the cup. Even in the event of a radial expansion of the ring by thermal expansion, the cup does not fall out of the ring by the fact that the upper support, which is located in the region of the edge of the cup, is provided with an edge claw which engages over the cup edge.
Instead of a conical cup, a cylindrical cup with a shoulder can also be used, the ring of the holder pushing against the shoulder after being pushed onto the cup, and thus locking the cup in the axial direction in cooperation with the edge claw.
- Figur 1 : eine Seitenansicht des erfindungsgemäßen Trinkgefäßes;
- Figure 1 is a side view of the drinking vessel according to the invention;
- Figure 2 shows a section of the drinking vessel shown in Figure 1, and
- Figure 3: two further embodiments for the handle.
The drinking vessel generally designated 1 in FIG. 1 essentially comprises the
The
Furthermore, the
Due to the
The drinking vessel holder consists of an elastic plastic, which allows easy assembly and disassembly and is able to maintain the applied pre-tension constantly.
The
Handle and ring as components of the holder are integrally formed. As a result, the reference dimension 11 (see FIG. 2) can be kept constant, while undesired shifts in the reference dimension and wear of the connection point could occur if the ring and handle were installed separately.
Further advantageous configurations of the handle are shown in FIG. 3. The grip openings shown there enable grasping with multiple fingers.
