Abstract

The subject matter of the instant invention is formed by U-shaped, solderless, non-screwed and stripping-free, LSA-PLUS terminals (2, 2a) adapted to be tandem-mounted in longitudinal direction in a terminal strip (1). The terminals are disposed at a relative offset of 180 DEG so that two respective adjacent U-shaped terminals (2, 2a), when viewed from the top, form generally an either X-shape (3) or an O-shape (4).

Description

The invention relates to a terminal strip for connecting insulated wires to a connection contact of a solderless, screw-free and stripping-free, polytropic air gap (= LSA-PLUS) double connection contact according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such a connection strip is known from DE-A-2 725 551, the U-shape of all double connection contacts being open in the same longitudinal direction of the connection strip. Due to the torsional effects that occur when the wires are pressed into the contact slots, undesired forces are transmitted to the terminal block.

From DE-A-28 04 478 a terminal block with approximately Z-shaped LSA-PLUS double connection contacts is known. The Z-shaped LSA-PLUS double connection contacts are arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction. These LSA-PLUS connection contacts have two upright, mutually parallel leaf spring legs at an angle of 45 ° to the longitudinal direction, which delimit a slot into which the respective wire is pressed. When the wire is pressed in, the two legs of the leaf springs are deflected from one another from their original plane (torsion effect), so that these legs cut through the wire insulation at offset locations and contact the wire on one of the diagonally opposite inner edges of the two legs. This torsional effect also transmits forces to the terminal block. In the arrangement according to DE-A-28 04 478, all these forces of the Z-shaped LSA-PLUS double connection contacts act in the same direction and therefore have an additive effect.

Finally, EP-A-0 041 596 discloses a terminal block for connecting insulated wires to double-contact terminal elements, which are V-shaped and are arranged in the terminal block with the V-shape open transversely to the longitudinal direction of the terminal block. In this case, preferably two double-contact connection elements with a V-shape opened in the same transverse direction of the terminal block are connected by a one-piece cross-connection to a pair of double-contact connection elements, the opening of the V-shape of the pairs of double-contact connection elements which follow one another in the longitudinal direction of the connection strip is directed alternately in opposite transverse directions of the terminal block, so that the two adjacent angular surfaces of two V-shaped connecting elements which follow one another in the longitudinal direction lie opposite one another in parallel.

The object of the invention is to arrange the U-shaped LSA-PLUS double connection contacts in the terminal block in a device of the type mentioned in such a way that the forces arising on the individual connection contacts due to the connection of wires cancel each other out. This is to prevent the introduction of force into the terminal block.

This object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.

In this way, the torsional effects caused by the connection of the wires are mutually canceled out and the introduction of force into the terminal block is avoided.

The invention is explained in more detail with reference to the embodiment shown in the drawing. Show it :
  • 1 shows the top view of a terminal block with LSA-PLUS double connection contacts in a known installation order,
  • FIG. 2 shows the top view of the terminal strip with LSA-PLUS double connection contacts rotated with respect to one another by 180 °,
  • 3 shows the forces on the LSA-PLUS double connection contacts during installation according to FIG. 1,
  • FIG. 4 shows the forces on the LSA-PLUS double connection contacts during installation according to FIG. 2,
  • Figure 5 shows an LSA-PLUS double connection contact.

Wie die Fig. 2 zeigt, sind die LSA-PLUS-Doppelanschlußkontakte 2, 2a hintereinander in Längs-' richtung in der Anschlußleiste 1 angeordnet.2 shows, the LSA-PLUS double connection contacts 2, 2a are arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal 'direction in the terminal block 1.

So that the torsional forces of the individual LSA-PLUS connection contacts that arise when the wires 7 are connected do not act in the same direction, every second U-shaped LSA-PLUS double connection contact 2a is rotated by 180 ° around the transverse connection axis. Forces from adjacent double connection contacts 2, 2a act in the opposite direction and thus do not add up, but cancel each other out.

Fig. 1 shows the terminal block 1 with Z-shaped LSA-PLUS double connection contacts 2 in a conventional manner of installation.

Die Fig. 3 zeigt, daß beim herkömmlichen Einbau der LSA-PLUS-Doppelanschlußkontakte 2 die Kräfte 5, 5a (Pfeile) in gleicher Richtung wirken.3 shows that the forces 5, 5a (arrows) act in the same direction in the conventional installation of the LSA-PLUS double connection contacts 2.

Wird dagegen jeder zweite LSA-PLUS-Doppelanschlußkontakt 2a erfindungsgemäß um 180° um die Verbindungsquerachse verdreht, wie dieIn contrast, every second LSA-PLUS double connection contact 2a is rotated according to the invention by 180 ° about the transverse connection axis, like that

Fig. 4 shows, the forces 5, 5a (arrows) act in the opposite direction and cancel each other out.

Die Fig. 5 zeigt den erfindungsgemäß verwendeten U-förmigen LSA-PLUS-Doppelanschlußkontakt 2 mit einem Abgriff 6 für ein nicht dargestelltes Überspannungsableitermagazin.5 shows the U-shaped LSA-PLUS double connection contact 2 used according to the invention with a tap 6 for a surge arrester magazine, not shown.
