Das Gehäuse setzt sich aus zwei identischen Schalenteilen zusammen, wobei das einheitliche Schalenteil so ausgebildet ist, daß es einerseits mit dem gleich SChalenteil zu einem Korpus verbunden werden kann, es aber andererseits auch möglich ist, ein Schalenteil zu halbieren und die beiden erhaltenen Teile zu einem Korpus halber Größe zusammenzufügen. Das Bauelement nach Fig. 1 besteht aus der Seitenwand 1, der halben Gehäusedecke 2 sowie dem halben Gehäuseboden 3. Zusätzlich können halbe Zwischenwände für das obere Schubfach 4 und eine mittlere Versteifungswand 5 vorgesehen sein. Die Gehäusedecke 2 ist mit einem erhöhten Umlaufrand 6 versehen, so daß eine gesicherte Abstellfläche entsteht. In der Seitenwand 1 sind seitliche Auflagen- und Führungsleisten 7 für einzuschiebende Tabletts sowie Kühlkanäle 8 für das aus dem oberen Kühlfach abströmende Kühlgas eingeformt. Ein solches, die eine Gehäusehälfte bildendes Bauelement, ist aus einem thermoplastischen Kunststoff mit sehr hoher Schlagzänigkeit nach dem sogenannten TSG-Verfahren hergestellt. Die Klebestelle der aneinanderstoßenden Querwände kann gemäß Fig. 2 ausgebildet werden. Die Z-förmige Profilierung gewährleistet eine maßgenaue Zusammenfügung der beiden Schalenteile, denn sie schieben sich mit ihrer Spitze jeweils in eine Gegennut. Claims (5)

  1. A component for the construction of a square case of plastic for a service cart, in particular a service cart for aircrafts,
       characterized by that
    a) the said component is composed of a shell portion forming one side wall (1) and half the top (2) and half the bottom (3) of half the case, said shell portion being moulded of thermoplastic material as one piece in a mould,
    b) the said shell portion is divided symmetrically to a central plae of symmetry (E) extending through the top (2), the side wall (1), and the bottom (3) of the case, into two identical halves of the shell portion,
    c) the abutting ends of the two faces of the top and bottom halves of the case to be glued during the assembly of two shell portions comprise a profiling being negatively congruent, on the one shell portion half, to the profiling on the other shell portion half.
  2. A component according to claim 1,
       characterized by that the profiling of the two faces of the two shell portions to be glued is Z-shaped.
  3. A component according to claims 1 and 2,
       characterized by that the Z-shaped profiling of the faces to be glued is glued such that the tip of the one shell portion is introduced into a counter groove of the other shell portion.
  4. A component according to one or several of claims 1 to 3,
