Abstract

Described herein is a stamped cushioning piece of a two-layered latex foam, produced with paddings in various places from a latex foam of greater specific weight. First, a layer of latex foam of slight specific weight is applied to a textile carrying sheet. Into this, depressions are stamped, whereupon a second layer of latex foam, preferably of a high specific weight, is applied. Manufacture occurs continuously on so-called large-scale machines, and the pieces are stamped out of the sheet.

Description

The invention relates to upholstery stamped parts in the manner of an insole or a built-in part for shoes made of latex foam.

It is known to produce molded articles from latex foam as upholstery to be built in, in the manner of pads, wedges, heel cushions, footbeds and the like. Such shoe components are also used as padding for the shaft, Achilles heel and tongue. They also serve as a structural part for shoe insoles and insoles.

These molded articles made of latex foam currently require however, still a high proportion of manual work, since the shaped sheets have to be taken in hand for gelling, then for vulcanizing and then for removing the molded parts. After that, the edge of each molding still needs to be cleaned. All of this is quite labor-intensive.

The shoe industry is therefore increasingly using a latex foam spread. It is less expensive to manufacture. The shoe factory receives them as rolled goods, depending on the application in the appropriate strength and firmness. It only has to be punched out. The shoe factory is used to punching out materials from the roll. Of course, these stamped parts do not have as smooth transitions as molded parts. However, since a tight-fitting cover is always pulled over the upholstery, which compresses the edges of the stamped part more than the rest, a certain transition also arises when viewed from the outside.

This spreadable product can be coated on a textile or a fleece or consist only of latex foam.

Sie haben unterschiedliche Stärken, Festigkeiten, Farben des Schaumes, Textil- oder Vliesträger, Perforationen, Beimengungen von Wirk- oder Duftstoffen, strukturierte Oberflächen des Schaumes, u.a.This painted latex foam on textile or fleece is very similar to that used for the production of insoles. These insoles made of latex foam, which, in contrast to built-in parts for shoes, are an independent item, have developed internationally in the last 30 years for reasons of the market. They have different strengths, strengths, colors of the foam, textile or fleece backing, perforations, admixtures of active ingredients or fragrances, structured surfaces of the foam, etc.

In order to stand out visually from others, there are soles with two foam layers of different colors.

This latex foam spread is sold in bulk by the meter on systems of up to almost 100 m in length without a stop, with a squeegee, i.e. at a uniform height, gelled, embossed, vulcanized and rolled up on a large roll as required. A textile or nonwoven serves as a carrier into which the foam has penetrated to such an extent that the tensile strength is no less than that of the foam itself. If you want the foam without a carrier, you spread it on a conveyor belt, the top of which contains a release agent .

In addition to the insoles made of latex foam, there are shoe inserts made of latex foam. These are both orthopedically adapted to the individual foot, or they are sold as merchandise in certain shapes and sizes.

Similar to such a shoe insert as a commercial article, there are insoles in which one or more molded articles made of latex foam are glued to the stamped part from the coated material, i.e. the insole, as a pad, joint support, heel cushion, etc. To produce this insole with local reinforcements, which should give the foot additional support at these points, is twice as inexpensive: The production of the molded articles requires a lot of manual work; in addition, the precise location of the pads on the soles.

It is therefore an object of the invention to use padding made of latex foam as stamped parts, similar to the above. To create molded parts and similar to the last described insoles with reinforcements simply by applying the known coating method to large systems.

This object is achieved by the inventive features and procedural measures characterized in the claims.

The embossing is done in the usual way by an embossing roller or by a flat bed embossing. The embossing creates depressions through compression of the foam, which, as the shaped underside, are filled with a specifically heavier foam during the second brushing.

The goal that the latex foam on certain. Places become denser, heavier and therefore more resistant to pressure than at other places, the fact that the foam has already been compressed where it was embossed, i.e. has become more resistant, even at the first layer.

The transitions in the form from the first layer, that is to say between the foams of lower and higher density, are continuous and flowing and thus correspond to those in the known molded parts made of latex foam.

The latex foam fabric obtained in this way is now punched out for the known uses. The reference points required for punching can be obtained by embossing points in the shape of a cone.

The invention is particularly advantageous for the production of insoles which stand out from those treated above due to the special properties of locally different densities.

According to the invention, an insole is possible which has the property, similar to the soles already mentioned, with molded parts glued on. However, it no longer has the additional material heights that result from the joining of the molded parts and the spreadable product, but only the height that is uniform over the entire sole.

The same method is used to produce insoles of the type according to the invention as for the stamped parts. First, a Endless single-layer latex foam spread, made in a thickness that corresponds approximately to the thickness of the finished insole. The latex foam that is used for this first layer is preferably a foam of low density, that is, low specific weight, for example a foam with a weight of 120 kg / m 3 . This first coat of the continuously produced latex foam spread is then gelled in a known manner and by means of an embossing roller, the pattern of an insole is embossed into this gelled foam, in which the parts to be cushioned are embossed as more or less deep, with harmonious edge transitions, as required. are shown.

Where, for example, a reinforcement of the insole in the form of a heart-shaped pad is to be created in the middle of the forefoot, a heart-shaped depression is embossed at this point, the edges of which gradually merge into the surface of the first line.

In this way, different impressions can be created in the contour of the insole. After embossing, the web is vulcanized. Now, with a renewed passage through the large-scale plant, the second stroke takes place, with a latex foam of higher density, that is, higher specific weight, for example 360 kg / m 3 .

It is now easy to see that the second stroke not only brings the final thickness of the insoles, but also fills the depressions that are embossed. The second layer of latex foam is thus practically the casting material which is poured into the mold which is embossed in the first layer of latex foam. The second coat is then also gelled and then vulcanized in a known manner. The individual insoles are then individually punched out from these double-coated sheets, which already contain the finished insoles. The insole is then turned over as usual for use. The backing material of textile type forms the upper side when the insole is inserted into the shoe. As a result, the denser foam layer, with the reinforcements formed on it, lies below and the reinforcements form elevations in the first softer latex layer. So they have exactly the desired thickness and strength that they need to develop their support effect when wearing the shoe. The latex layers can be colored differently.

From DE-AS 1 032 521 it is known if it is to provide foam rubbers, which are laminated, with red, a mass of foamed rubber layer being flowed onto a moving belt and being leveled to a layer of the specified height. This layer, which is then gelled and vulcanized, is coated with an adhesive, a flexible sheet or soluble film is applied thereon, and the surface is then pressurized to flatten the bend of the foam rods and a sheet or film uniformly to the surface to finish the foam layer. Then pressure is released and the foam layer is allowed to return to its shape. This material can be used for decorative surface design. However, the use of such a material for infusion soles or upholstery stampings is neither suggested nor recommended. It is used to decorate walls or furniture.

No. 2,917,807, which deals with insoles, proposes to produce them from a wool fleece which contains a fabric insert, whereupon a latex foam is applied to the fleece, and this latex foam is pressed into the fiber fleece by a doctor knife , or is sucked into the fleece and then hardened.

Der Latexschaum dient zur Verstärkung des Faservlieses. The latex foam serves to reinforce the nonwoven.

It should also be pointed out that the relatively light foam of the first stroke is related to the production process, is compressed during embossing, so that it comes closer to the thicker material of the stroke. The compressed foam of the first coating also benefits the desired purpose generated by the second coating.

In order to make the points of increased density visible to the consumer, the soles can be color printed there. By printing these places you can add other properties besides the color, e.g. B. by adding active ingredients or fragrances.

The insoles can get other properties than those described by the invention. The yard goods, from which the soles are punched, are embossed evenly over the entire surface into the first layer in the form of straight grooves, grooves in a wavy line or in a zigzag pattern, grids, knobs and the like. a. So massage effects can be achieved with the insole.

In the context of the invention it is also possible to achieve different support and suspension values by choosing the layer thicknesses.

For a better understanding, the invention will now be explained using an exemplary embodiment which is shown in the drawing.

  • Fig. 6 ein ausgestanztes Einbauteil.
In the drawing:
  • 1 is a plan view embossed in an insole in a continuously manufactured relatively wide latex foam spread,
  • 2 shows a section on the line 11-11 of FIG. 1,
  • 3 shows a section on the line III-III of FIG. 1,
  • 4 shows a section on the line IV-IV of FIG. 1,
  • Fig. 5 is a view similar to FIG. 1 for the manufacture of built-in parts and
  • Fig. 6 shows a punched installation part.

In Fig. 1, the reference numeral 1 is intended to represent an endlessly manufactured latex foam or spreadable product of considerable width. This spreadable product consists of a backing material, on the top of which the foam is spread.

This latex foam is of low density, its specific weight is, for example, 0.12 g / cm 3 . This web 1, with the first latex foam layer lying thereon, is now embossed in accordance with the desired insole. In Fig. 1, the border thickness 2 is the outer contour. At 3 a pad is arranged, here should be embossed deeply, likewise at 4 and on the heel 5. At 3, 4 and 5 impressions correspond to the shape shown with the desired transitions to surface 6 of the first latex foam layer. In Fig. 1 only one such insole is shown on the web 1, but in reality about 20 such impressions will be contained side by side in the latex foam layer and each for the left or for the right sole.

Der zweite Schichtstrich füllt die Prägungen 3, 4 und 5 aus und bildet gleichzeitig den oberen glatten Abschlußstrich, wie das bei 10 in Fig. 3 insbesondere zu sehen ist.FIGS. 2, 3 and 4 now show schematically how these impressions and the second latex foam coat still to be applied are shown in cross section. The first foam layer is layer 7, which lies on the carrier material, textile type 8. The indentation 3 is shown at 3 'in FIG. 2. Here, as in the other figures 3 and 4, the above-mentioned. spread second layer of latex foam. This is shaded with dark shading and has the reference number 9. The second layer line fills the embossings 3, 4 and 5 and at the same time forms the upper smooth end line, as can be seen in particular at 10 in FIG. 3.

It should be noted that the insole has already been turned over in FIGS. 2 and 4, as described above, so that the textile carrier layer now forms the upper layer of the insole.

The last coated second latex foam layer 10 with a denser material, preferably with a specific weight of 360 kg / m 3 , now forms the lower layer. From sectional views 2 and 4 it can now be clearly seen how the denser and therefore firmer latex foam masses support the heel from both sides at 5 'and how the central pelotte-like elevation at 3' supports the front sole of the foot as shown in FIG. 2.

As stated above, the invention can also be used for the production of built-in parts. This is shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 and will be described below.

Fig. 5 corresponds to Fig. 1 for the production of insoles, but in the first latex foam layer 7 embossments have been made in the form of built-in parts, namely heart-shaped pads at 3 "corresponding to the pad 3 in the insole in Fig. 1 and heel-supporting components 5" accordingly the part 5 in the insole according to FIG. 1. These installation parts are, of course, arranged in the best possible use of the material web and are then punched out on the dotted lines 11, so that, as shown enlarged in FIG. 6, an installation part in the form of a pad or one Heel reinforcement is obtained. The hatched area in FIG. 6 is the built-in part which is preferably made from denser, specifically heavier latex foam, and 7 denotes quasi residues of the shape.

As described above, this shape is formed in specifically light latex foam and is pressed together during installation such that only a thin layer remains on the surface of the respective installation part.
