Abstract

A wing (2) which can be extended at least at its lower end, but which can preferably also be raised at its upper end so that it can be brought into a parallel storage position in addition to a tilting position, is over at least one, but preferably two, of its own The two lower corners associated with the extension arms (7) are supported on a running rail, which is preferably connected to the lower horizontal spar of a frame. Accordingly, the extension arms are pivoted both on their carriage (9) and the wing (2). The wing-side end (19) of each extension arm (7) is mounted in a housing (25). This is preferably a mounting housing which is screwed onto the surface (32) of the wing facing the interior of the room. The screw connection is made both with the vertical bar on the closing side and with the horizontal wing bar belonging to the same corner. This relieves a welded or adhesive connection that can connect these two bars in the corner area. At the same time, this wing corner is stiffened via the stable mounting housing. The main features of this wing-side pivot arm bearing are a bearing pin and a bearing bush. Two radial bearings, preferably needle bearings, are connected between the two. An axial thrust bearing between the housing (25) or the bearing bush, which is adjustably held therein, and the leaf-side end (19) of the bearing arm (7) takes up the generally comparatively high leaf weight of the leaf, which is designed in particular as a parallel sliding door.

Description

The invention relates to a wing of a window, a door or the like, which can be extended at least at its lower end, the wing having a frame or the like. is connected via at least one extension arm. A wing that can only be opened at its lower end, that is to say foldable, is of little importance in practice. It is different, however, with a wing that can be opened at both its lower and upper ends, whereby the opening usually takes place inside the room and not necessarily at the same time must follow. In many cases, the sash is transferred from a closed position, in which it is usually also appropriately locked, into a tilting position, in which only the upper sash end is removed from the upper frame end. Subsequently, the lower wing end is flipped out relative to the lower end of the rail, which then results in a parallel storage position. This can be used as a night ventilation position or, preferably, be the starting position for moving this wing along a fixed field. The latter can be a further sash, which is either firmly connected to the frame or part of the same, or can also be moved in any way. For example, it can be a reversible sash or a cleaning rotary sash. If the wing that can be extended at its lower end can be moved after the exhibition or parallel parking, the support is provided at the bottom via rollers, running shoes or the like, which are supported on a running rail or the like. During the parallel parking movement, the lower wing end is moved transversely to the longitudinal axis of this running rail, as a result of which its lateral distance changes. This side distance, which is increased in level, is bridged with the aid of the extension arm or arms.

Sashes of doors, in particular double or multiple glazed doors, the height and width of which are in the meter range, have a very considerable weight. This is transferred to the running rail via the extension arms. As a result, will not only the extension arms - for the sake of simplicity, at least two extension arms are assumed, although this should not be understood as restrictive - but also the frame and its corner connections when exhibiting and in the exhibited state are subjected to considerable stress.

The object of the invention is therefore to develop an extendable sash of a window, a door or the like, which is connected to the frame via at least one extension arm, in such a way that in particular the sash and the extension arm (s) the occurring loads, primarily weight loads , of the wing shown below have grown safely, with particular relief being given to the lower wing corners.

To solve this problem, the invention proposes that a door or window or the like. with at least one extension arm or arms, designed and connected according to the preamble of claim 1 according to the characterizing part of this claim. Because the wing-side end of each extension arm is now mounted in a preferably angular housing, the wing-side mounting does not need to be based on the internal spatial conditions of the wing, but only on those of the housing. With appropriate design and attachment of this housing, you can therefore train the camp strong and design with regard to its storage so that the occurring weight and possibly also at this point Wind pressure loads can be easily absorbed even with large and heavy sashes. Through the connection of the housing, both with the vertical and the horizontal spar of the wing corner, the connection of the two spars in the corner area is not or at least to a small extent, which in any case is smaller than with a linkage of each wing-side extension arm end only on one of the two spars, or the lower horizontal wing spar. Above all in the case of sashes made from plastic profiles, the two sash bars are glued or welded together in every corner and this connection is particularly sensitive. So if one gives up the load directly on the bars by using an angular housing connected to both bars, this inevitably leads to a relief of the welded or glued connection. In addition, the housing additionally stiffens the wing corner.

A particularly preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the housing of the extension arm is designed as a mounting housing and is connected to the surface of the wing pointing towards the interior of the room. So the cross-sectional relationships and the cross-sectional configurations of the spars of the wing play no role with regard to the articulation of the opening arms and the housing, in particular in the depth, that is to say seen perpendicular to the wing plane, can be designed so large that a strong, wing-side mounting provides sufficient space therein finds. The latter will thus not restricted by any chambers of the profile or restricted to an essentially too small dimension, as is often the case with previously known windows and doors.

A further development of the invention provides that the wing spars are reinforced at least in the corner areas and the housing of the extension arm is connected to both the spars and the reinforcing members. In particular if the frame spars are made of plastic profile rods, it is expedient to carry out reinforcement at least in the area of the corners, the reinforcing members being inserted into chambers of the profiles. This results in thicker walls up to close to the corner weld, which have an advantageous effect when fastening the extension arm housing. With the help of the fasteners for the housing you can also secure the reinforcing members so that they cannot move. The latter increase the bending stiffness of the profiles in a known manner. The forces are transferred to the reinforced zones via the screwed-on housing and this leads to less stress on the weld seam.

Another variant of the invention is characterized in that a thrust bearing, in particular an axial ball bearing, is connected between the housing of the raising arm and its wing-side end. This thrust bearing can absorb large forces on the one hand and is characterized by an extremely low resistance on the other stood out while turning. In addition, such bearings are relatively small in diameter.

In a further embodiment of the invention, it is proposed that the axial ball bearing be penetrated by a bearing pin, the lower end of which is held in a rotationally fixed manner in the wing-side end of the display arm and the part above which is mounted in at least one, but preferably two radial bearings of the housing. The bearing pin makes a pelative movement with respect to the housing. In order to keep the space requirement low, it is advantageous to provide a radial plain bearing without an inner ring, i.e. when the rolling elements roll directly on the surface of the bearing pin. The radial bearing or bearings of the bearing pin are preferably needle bearings.

According to another embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the one or more radial and axial bearings are fastened in a bearing bush, which is held adjustable in the housing at least in the vertical direction. Within the intended adjustment range, the sash can be easily aligned with the frame or the like in the corner area of the extension arm in question. It is particularly advantageous if the bearing bush can be adjusted by means of a threaded connection and can preferably be locked by means of an adjusting screw or lock nut. The bearing bush can be screwed in or unscrewed more or less deeply in order to thereby raise or lower the wing corner in question. A useful development of the setting is that the thread is eccentric to the Bol zenachse attaches to the bearing bush, so that you can also make an adjustment transverse to the wing plane in addition to the height adjustment. As an alternative or in addition, this transverse adjustment, in particular, however, the pressing of the sash onto the frame or the like, can be carried out with additional means, in particular of a known type.

In a further development of the invention, the upper end of the bearing bolt passes through an inner collar at the upper end of the bearing bush and the end piece projecting outwards is held in the axial direction by means of a securing member. In the latter case, it can be, for example, a conventional snap ring or the like.

Furthermore, it is very advantageous that the frame end of the extension arm in a carriage, running shoe or the like. is rotatably mounted so that the wing can be moved to the side after parallel parking, so that the opening closed by it is free.

Further useful training can be found in the following description of the drawings and the claims.

An embodiment of the invention is explained below with reference to the drawing.

Here represent:
  • 1 shows a front view of a wing that is tiltable, parallel-adjustable and displaceably mounted in a frame, which is articulated at its lower end by means of the deployment arms according to the invention,
  • 2 shows the sliding wing of FIG. 1 in a position tilted relative to the frame,
  • 3 shows the parallel storage position of this wing,
  • 4 shows a detail of the lower left corner of FIG. I, in perspective in an enlarged hatching stick,
  • 5 shows a vertical section through FIG. 4 in a further enlarged representation, along the line VV of FIG. 4.

In a frame 1, a wing 2, preferably a door, can be tilted about a lower horizontal axis and can be folded about an upper horizontal axis and can thus be parked in parallel. In addition, the wing can be pushed in the parallel position in the direction of arrow 3 in front of a field 4, so that the rabmen opening closed by it is free for the passage. Fig. shows the wing 2 in its position tilted about the lower axis, its upper hand by means of two scissors 5 and 6 or the like. Is supported. In the parallel storage position (FIG. 3), the lower wing end is supported on the frame 1 or a running rail 8 fastened thereon via at least one, but preferably two extension arms 7. This support is provided with two carriages 9 and 10, each of which has two rollers 11 and 12. The preferably fixed field 4 can be a wing that is fixedly connected or integrated to the frame 1 or a movable wing, for example a reversible wing or cleaning rotating wing.

Tilting of the sash, or at least unlocking and bringing about a readiness for tilting, can be achieved with a suitable fitting. Essential components of this fitting are a gear 13, which is switched by means of an actuating member 14, drive rods 15 being able to be moved up and down on the closing side by the gear. These are coupled via corner drives with further horizontal and a second vertical drive rod. The stay scissors 5 and 6 can at least be unlocked by these drive rods, but may also be actuated, so that, for example, a quarter turn of the actuating member 14 causes the wing to tilt (FIG. 2) via the stay scissors 5 and 6. If the push scissors cannot be controlled in this way, the wing can be pulled out by hand into the tilt position after a quarter turn of the actuating member 14.

The same is possible if, after a further rotation of the actuator 14 and possibly an associated unlocking, not shown, on the lower wing end, the latter is pulled out with the aid of the actuator.

As already mentioned, the lower wing end is connected to the cover frame 1 via at least one, but preferably two extension arms 7 with the intermediary of the running rail 8. As a result, the entire sash weight is transferred to the running rail via these extension arms and, if this is firmly connected to the lower plinth frame spar, also to the latter. Each extension arm is rotatable, articulated both on the wing and on its carriage 9 or 10 or the like. 5, the wing-side bearing is shown in a longitudinal section.

Integral part of the leaf-side bearing is a laser g erbolzen 17. It is rotatably held 19 of the opening arm 7 in a housing 12 of the wing-side end. The lower ring of an axial thrust bearing 22 lies on this wing-side end, through which bearing bolts 17 pass and are connected to it in a rotationally fixed manner. The bearing pin 17 further passes through a lower needle bearing 2C and an upper needle bearing 21. The needles of these two bearings roll directly on the surface of the bearing block 17. Both these two needle bearings, as well as the thrust thrust bearing 22, are located in a bearing bush 23. Otherwise, the three bearings shown are only as an embodiment understand games. Instead of needle bearings, other radial roller bearings of known design can of course also be used. Furthermore, an axial thrust bearing of another known type is to be used instead of an axial ball bearing. The three types of storage shown are characterized by a small footprint, which is why they are preferred.

The bearing bush 23 has an outer collar with an external thread 24 at the upper end in the installed position. This is connected to an internal thread of an angular housing 25 of the extension arm, which is particularly clearly shown in FIG. 4 and which will be discussed in more detail below. At the lower end, the bearing bush 23 has only a guide collar 26, which, if necessary, can also be provided with an external thread, which is then screwed into a corresponding counter thread at the lower end of the housing 25. It is easy to see that one can make a vertical adjustment of the wing corner in relation to the assigned frame corner by turning the bearing bush 23 in the arrow direction 27 or by unscrewing it in the opposite direction via this threaded connection of the housing 25 and the bearing bush 23. In a non-inclined manner, the external thread 24 can be offset eccentrically to the geometric axis 28 of the bearing pin 17, or this bearing (for example perpendicular to the plane of FIG. 5), so that in addition to the vertical adjustment of the wing corner also an adjustment in the sense of Double arrow 29 is added. In order to be able to carry out this rotation of the bearing bush 23 in a simple manner, a polygon, preferably a square 30, is formed on its upper end. It is sufficient to provide two parallel key surfaces there. In order to be able to secure the set position of the bearing bush relative to the housing 25, an adjusting screw 31 is also provided, which can be adjusted radially (FIG. 5). The housing 25 for receiving the wing-side opening arm bearing has an essentially angular shape, as FIG. 4 shows particularly clearly. It is preferably screwed onto the wing surface 32 facing the interior of the room. This has the advantage that the sash can be made in a simple manner from profiles, as they are also used in other windows and doors. In particular, it is provided that the wing is made of plastic profiles that are welded to one another in the corners or are connected in another known manner. If you screw the angular housing 25 to both the vertical and the horizontal spar, as is done with the screws 33, you not only achieve a stiffening of the lower corner in question, but also an at least not insignificant relief of the mentioned Weld seam or the like, which connects the two spars of the corners. It is expedient here if the profiles are reinforced by reinforcing members 34, for example inserted tubular rods or the like, and at the same time these screws 33 are also screwed into the reinforcing members. Fs remains to be added that the bearing pin 17 is held at its upper end by means of a snap ring 35 or the like. Security elements are fixed in place at the upper end of the bearing bush 23. In addition, the two carriages 9 and 10 are coupled in the direction of displacement by means of a rigid, rod-like member 36.

No recesses are necessary on the wing for the assembly of the raising arms or the wing-side housing 25 of the raising arms. The fitting is easy to attach and can be centered on the sash via stop lugs or the like. Due to the favorable mounting of the wing over the described extension arms, essentially only frictional forces occur when the lower wing end is pivoted, which are minimal despite the high wing weight.
