Abstract

The invention relates to a device for holding and advancing the stock to be sliced on a cold meat slicing machine. At the free end of a base mounted pivotably on the carriage for the stock to be sliced and slidably displaceable transversely to the direction of displacement of the carriage, there is likewise pivotably mounted a gripper with at least two fingers protruding from its pivot axis, and one curved, pointed needle protruding from each finger. The gripper furthermore comprises a manual lever by means of which the curved needles may be pressed into the stock to be sliced.

Description

The invention relates to a device for holding and feeding the material to be sliced on a slicer with a machine frame, a rotating circular knife, a slidable sled and with a pivotally mounted on the sled, transversely to its direction of displacement, the free end of the carrier the material to be cut can be put on.

Slicers of this type are used primarily for cutting food, in particular meat, sausage, cheese, and the like. The holding and feeding devices for the material to be cut to the circular knife, which are provided on known machines, are displaceable in the feed direction and around on a guide axis attached to the material to be cut this guide axis can be pivoted, a surface facing the material to be cut being equipped with tips, teeth, combs or forks, which are used for positioning the material to be cut more during feeding into the material to be cut or less deeply.

It is disadvantageous that the tips, teeth and the like. In particular in the case of soft types of cut material, for example greasy sausage, do not have a sufficient fixing action and / or the cut material, e.g. B. significantly damaged by deformation.

It is an object of the invention to design a generic device in such a way that it holds the respective item to be cut securely and without damage largely independently of its circumferential and cross-sectional shape.

The object is achieved in that. A gripper with at least two fingers projecting from its pivot axis is arranged pivotably on the free end of the carrier and a curved needle protrudes from the fingers, and that the gripper has a hand lever with which the curved needles can be pressed into the material to be cut.

  • Fig. 1 schematisch eine Vorderansicht einer Aufschnitt-Schneidemaschine;
  • Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht der Maschine in Richtung des Pfeiles Z in Fig. 1;
The following description of a preferred embodiment of the invention serves in conjunction with the accompanying drawings for further explanation. Show it:
  • Fig. 1 shows schematically a front view of a slicer;
  • Fig. 2 is a side view of the machine in the direction of arrow Z in Fig. 1;
  • Fig. 3 is a (9 0 ° twisted) top view in the direction of arrow C in Fig. 1 and
  • 4 is a sectional view taken along line 4-4 in FIG. 3rd

The slicer 1 shown schematically in the drawing comprises a machine frame 2 on which a circular knife 3 is rotatably mounted. A motor, not shown, enclosed by a housing part 4 drives the circular knife 3 in rotation. The cutting plane of the circular knife is labeled S. An adjustable stop plate 5 running parallel to this plane determines the cutting thickness in a known manner. The material to be cut 6 to be sliced (in the drawing, a sausage) is placed on the support surface 7 of a carriage 8, which is slidable in a known manner parallel to the cutting plane S of the circular knife 3. The material to be cut is fed to the rotating circular knife 3 lying on the carriage 8 and held in abutment with the stop plate 5. After each slice has been cut, the material to be cut must be in the feed direction Z tracked and put back on the stop plate 5.

The slicer shown in the drawing is a so-called "bevel cutter", in which the cutting plane S, the support surface 7 of the carriage 8 and, accordingly, the feed direction Z are inclined to the horizontal. The device for holding and feeding the material to be cut according to the invention, which is to be described below, is not only suitable for such machines, but also for machines with a vertically arranged circular knife and a horizontally lying support surface 7.

The support surface 7, which runs obliquely towards the front of the machine in accordance with FIG. 2, has on its front side an upwardly bent edge section 9, against which the material to be cut 6 also bears (FIG. 2). On the edge opposite the edge section, a guide axis 11 running parallel to the feed direction Z is rigidly arranged on the support surface 7. On the guide axis 11, a carrier 13, which serves as a holding and feeding device, is slidably mounted in the Z direction and pivotable (in the plane of FIG. 2) by means of a guide bush 12. The carrier 13 has the angled shape shown in FIG. 2 and extends in the form of a swivel bracket from the guide axis 11 to the cutting material 6 resting on the edge region 9, on the circumference of which the free end of the carrier 13 in the 2 can be seen from FIG. A plate-shaped leg 14 protrudes from the carrier 13, which runs parallel to the feed direction Z, parallel to the cutting plane S and perpendicular to the feed direction Z and is provided with projecting tips 15 on its side facing the circular knife 3.

Zwei Anschläge 24, 25, an denen der Handhebel 23 jeweils anschlägt, begrenzen den Schwenkwinkel α.At the free end of the carrier 13, a gripper 16 is arranged, which makes it possible to temporarily establish a fixed connection between the carrier 13, which is displaceable in the feed direction Z, and the material to be cut 6, so that the latter, with the aid of the carrier guided on the guide axis 11, the circular knife 3 can be supplied. The gripper 16 comprises a pivot axis 17 which projects rigidly from the leg 14 and on which a bushing 19 is rotatably secured by a nut 18. Vcn the socket 19 are at a mutual distance W (Fig. 4) from two fingers 21 vertically. Approximately in the middle of these fingers, thin, curved needles 22 are also protruding and point downward toward the material 6 to be cut. The curvature of the thin needles 22 runs on: circles concentric with the pivot axis 17. As shown, the pivot axis 17 in turn runs parallel to the feed direction Z. Furthermore, a hand lever 23 is rigidly attached to the socket 19, with the aid of which the socket 19 and the needles 22 rigidly connected to it can be pivoted back and forth. Two stops 24, 25, against which the hand lever 23 strikes, limit the swivel angle α.

The plate-shaped carrier 13 has slots 26 parallel to the cutting plane S. The pivot axis 17 of the gripper 16 lies above the carrier 13. If the gripper 16 is pivoted from its position shown in dash-dotted lines on the left in FIG. 2 by touching the handle 23 into the position shown in solid lines, the thin, curved needles 22 penetrate easily the material to be cut 6 because they are curved concentrically to the pivot axis 17. As can be seen from FIG. 2, the free end regions of the fingers 21 lie tangentially on the circumferential surface of the material to be cut 6 and thereby limit the depth of penetration of the needles 22 into the material to be cut. Because of the relatively large contact surface of the fingers 21 on the material to be cut 6, this is not deformed or damaged. Damage to the material to be cut is also excluded by guiding the needles on circular paths concentric with the pivot axis 17. The distance W between the needles 22 ensures a secure fixation on the gripper.

In a position remote from the cutting plane S, the gripper is brought into operative connection with the material to be cut via the needles 22. As soon as the material to be cut 6 is firmly connected to the carrier 13 by the penetrated needles 22, this can be fed to the circular knife 3 during the successive cutting of slices together with the material to be cut 6 held on it.

In other embodiments of the invention, more than two fingers 21 with needles 22 can also be arranged on the socket 19. In addition, more than one needle concentrically curved to the pivot axis could protrude from a finger.

For cutting up pieces of cut material that are shorter than the distance W between two fingers 21, so that only one of the pointed needles 22 could penetrate into these pieces and hold them, these short remaining pieces are between the circular knife 3 and the leg 14 of the carrier 13 inserted, the tips 15 provided on the leg 14 and directed towards the circular knife 3 penetrating into the rear side of the remainder piece abutting the leg 14 and ensuring entrainment when the carriage 8 is moved.
