Claims (6)

1. Device for attaching one end of a sheet of flexible, fold-proof material, such as a blanket, on a cylinder of a rotary printing machine, the cylinder being provided with a radial insertion slot extending parallel to the cylinder axis and intended for attaching the folded end of the sheet, characterized by the fact that the radial slot (6) constitutes in its lower portion a cavity (16) of which the cross-section widens out towards the axis of the cylinder (2) and of which the inner bottom has, in the peripheral direction, a width (b) greater than the width (I) of the folded portion (7) of the end of the sheet (3), that one of the walls (12, 13) of the radial slot (6) is provided with a receiving groove (22) for the folded portion (7) of the end of the sheet, said groove being parallel to the axis of the cylinder (2) and forming an acute angle (p) with the portion of said wall (12) extending outwards, and that the maximum width (d) of the external portion of the radial slot (6) which extends beyond the receiving groove (22) is smaller than the width (I) of the folded portion (7) of the end of the sheet (3).
2. Attachment device according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that the folded end (7) of the sheet is provided with a spring-steel blade (14).
3. Attachment device according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterized by the fact that at least one of the walls (12, 13) of the slot (6) is parallel to one radius of the cylinder.
4. Attachment device according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterized by the fact that the acute angle (p) formed between the longitudinal groove (22) and the wall (12) of the radial slot (6) ranges from 5° to 45°, but is preferably equal to 30°.
