Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé et une installation de pose sur un fond immergé d'un tapis de protection formé d'un grand nombre de gabions (10) posés côte à côte et constitués chacun d'une enveloppe souple (11) en forme de panier et remplie de pierres.
Selon l'invention on réalise des éléments (1) de tapis préfabriqués de forme polygonale, constitués chacun d'un ensemble de gabions accolés (10, 12, 13, 14), reliés entre eux et remplis de pierres, chaque élément étant muni d'une pluralité d'organes d'ancrage (14) répartis régulièrement sur toute sa surface, puis l'on accroche l'élément préfabriqué (1) sur un palonnier (4) muni d'une pluralité d'organes d'accro­ chage (8) susceptibles de s'engager sur ces derniers à la descente du palonnier (4), celui-ci étant suspendu à cet effet à au moins un treuil (24) monté sur un chariot (23) déplaçable le long d'une passarelle de lancement surélevée (2) s'éten­ dant d'un côté au-dessus de l'aire de préfabrication (A) et prolongée de l'autre côté au-dessus de l'eau, on hisse alors l'élément préfabriqué (1) fixé au palonnier (4) au moyen du treuil (24), on l'amène ensuite au-dessus de l'eau, par déplacement du chariot (23) sur la passerelle (2) et l'on dépose l'ensemble du palonnier (4) et de l'élément préfabri­ qué (1) sur une barge (26) placée au dessous du prolonge­ ment de la passerelle, puis on déplace la barge (26) ainsi chargée pour l'amener au dessous d'un appareil de pose comprenant au moins un treuil (56) monté surélevé sur un ponton (5) muni de moyens de positionnement (53) par rapport au fond et placé sensiblement à l'aplomb de l'emplacement de pose en accroche le treuil (56) de l'appareil de pose (50) sur le palonnier (4), on hisse l'élément préfabriqué (1) pour retirer la barge (26) puis on le descend jusqu'à une faible distance du fond, on vérifie alors le positionnement du ponton (5) et l'on commande enfin le décrochage simultané de tous les organes d'accrochage du palonnier, l'élément préfabriqué étant ainsi posé en bloc à l'emplacement voulu.
L'invention s'applique à la protection contre l'érosion du fond d'une rivière ou d'une côte.
