- the screen 34 embraces the entire volume occupied by the motor 18. It would be sufficient, however, for the two terminal portions of the screen to be opposite the respective ends of the coil 22. It has in fact been observed that it is this part of the motor which is, by far, the most sensitive to parasitic magnetic fields and, more especially, to components parallel to the axis of the coil.
- the proposed magnetic screen since it consists not of a ring but simply of a ring portion, can be obtained by cutting and forming a strip, which avoids the loss of material and allows the use of simple and easy-to-sharpen tools.
