Description

The invention relates to a unit consisting of a ski boot and ski binding according to the first part of patent claim 1.

In today's cross-country ski bindings, the ski boot is attached to the ski binding with the help of an extension piece located on the toe. Since the ski bindings are standardized in the so-called Nordic standard, the piece serving as an extension of the boot must be of a certain size. A disadvantage of this is that this fastening piece must be dimensioned relatively large, so that large ski boots can also be fastened in the ski binding. However, the fastening piece according to this standard on small shoes is disproportionately large in relation to the shoe. The result of this is that the tip of the ski shoe is extended to such an extent that walking with this shoe becomes difficult.

Traditionally, ski bindings have been designed in such a way that winter shoes of all kinds fit into them. Served as z. B. a strap attached to the ski, d. H. a so-called ski strap into which the toe of the shoe was pushed. Boots or similar winter shoes of any kind could be used as ski boots. However, the ski strap is disadvantageous because the shoe slips out of it easily. A strong push off is not feasible with this ski binding, and the lateral hold is not particularly good either. One type of shoe that was used specifically for fastening in the ski strap was previously a boot with a curved tip, which, however, could not significantly eliminate the disadvantages mentioned above.

From DE-A-31 15 618 a unit consisting of ski binding and ski boot according to the first part of claim 1 is known, in which the tensioning device is formed by a clamping bracket, which in turn interacts with a separate binding shoe part molded onto the tip of the shoe. This means that even with this unit consisting of a ski binding and ski boot, a shoe part is required which has predetermined dimensions regardless of the respective shoe size, which makes walking with small shoes which are matched to this binding more difficult.

The known ski bindings described above are therefore not suitable as children's ski bindings, in which additional special properties are required. Because a children's ski binding must be simple in its function and can also be used with small forces.

The ski binding should also be able to be attached to the shoes of both legs. A further requirement for such a ski binding is that the binding is not easily damaged if handled improperly or incorrectly. Finally, however, the binding should adapt to the movements caused by skiing in sufficient mane and in the various states of skiing, such as, for. B. with strong push-off, fishbone step, turns, etc., give reliable hold.

The invention has for its object to provide a unit from ski binding and ski boot, in which the retention of the ski binding is just as good as in known modern bindings, but which does not require a toe extension attached to the ski shoe, which could make walking difficult.

This object is achieved by the features specified in the characterizing part of patent claim 1.

The unit of ski boot and ski binding supports with respect to the movements required for skiing in the right way, but at the same time the ski binding is elastic, so that z. B. the heel of the shoe can rise unhindered, which does not happen with a so-called heel binding intended for children. The kink at the tip of the shoe is in its natural place thanks to the elastic or articulated cross flap. The function of the ski binding in conjunction with the shoe corresponds entirely to the function of front bindings for adults, so that the transition to the adult binding is made easier for the children. Finally, the structure of the unit from ski binding and ski boot is such that the individual parts can be dimensioned relatively generously, which makes handling the ski binding easier, which is particularly important in the case of children's ski bindings, since the coordination of movements is much worse for children than for children Is adult and it is not always easy to insert the foot into the binding. The simplicity and the small number of individual parts of the ski boot and ski binding unit according to the invention also result in production advantages. The cross flap can even be made elastic, with the ski binding not even requiring tension regulation. Ultimately, the locking of the cross flap according to the invention has the advantage that children can close the turnbuckle with a simple handle without difficulty.

The power required to handle the ski binding is very small. Due to the design, the strapping is self-guiding and the shoe remains securely in its correct position.

The profile in the base plate and ski boot can be chosen to be large compared to the pins of known designs, as a result of which the resulting surface pressure remains small. This has the consequence that a soft and elastic material can be used as the sole material of the shoe, which is known in the prior art Binding types is not possible. The ski binding can e.g. B. be made entirely of plastic, which makes it easier to remove ice from the ski binding, since ice attaches to metal parts much easier. When handling plastic with your hands, there is also no danger that the ski binding will freeze on your bare fingers, as would be the case when handling cold metal parts. On the other hand, the profiling required on the shoe can be kept so small that it does not cause any extensions or similar properties on the shoe sole that impair walking.

The unit of ski binding and ski boot according to the invention can be combined either with a shoe with a short shaft or with a winter boot with a high shaft. Since there is no large toe extension or a similar shoe extension attached to the shoe adapted to the ski binding, this opens up the advantageous possibility of using the ski boot adapted to the ski binding as a winter use shoe. A great advantage of the invention, in particular in children's shoes, is that the ski boots according to the invention can also be used as leisure shoes in addition to skiing.

Advantageous embodiments of the unit consisting of a ski boot and ski binding are the subject of the dependent claims. With the development according to claim 6, getting into the binding is made easier, but at the same time it ensures that no snow gets between the boot and the ski binding during skiing.

With the development according to claim 3, it is possible to dispense with separate tension regulating mechanisms when using shoes of different sizes.

By reinforcing the toe according to claim 9, the life of the shoe can be extended. At the same time, this further training creates the prerequisite for training the shoe as a safety shoe.

  • Fig. 3 zeigt die Skibindung nach fig.
In the following, the invention is described in detail using two embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings.
  • Fig. 1 shows graphically the part of a ski on which the unit consisting of ski binding and ski boot is located.
  • Fig. 2 shows a diagram of the ski binding according to Fig. 1 with the turnbuckle closed.
  • Fig. 3 shows the ski binding according to fig. 2 with the turnbuckle open.
  • FIG. 4 shows the vertical section from FIG. 1 placed in the longitudinal direction of the ski.
  • FIG. 5 corresponds to FIG. 4 and shows a second embodiment.

Dabei schwenkt die Querlasche 5 mit dem Schuh 7 um die Gelenke 4.In Fig. 1, the ski binding 2 and the boot 7 are attached to the ski 1. The ski binding consists of a base plate 3 and a tensioning device fastened to it with joints 4, which consists of a transverse link 5 with a turnbuckle 6 with which the ski binding can be opened and locked on the boot 7. When the ski binding is locked, the cross flap 5 remains firmly in place on the shoe 7. The joints 4 form hinge points so that the heel 8 of the boot 7 can stand out freely from the surface of the ski 1 when skiing. The cross flap 5 pivots with the shoe 7 about the joints 4.

B. can be attached to the ski with auxiliary screws. Usually three mounting screws are provided per base plate. For the firm locking of the boot to the ski binding, the base plate 3 has a profile made of transverse projections 10 which fit into corresponding grooves 17 in the shoe sole 16 as a counter-profile (FIG. 4). At the front edge of the ski binding there is a stop 20 against which the shoe is pressed and so that it sits firmly in the ski binding. The stop 20 also prevents snow from getting between the boot and the ski binding when skiing. The projections 10 ensure that the ski boot remains in the ski binding even when pushing backwards. The base plate 3 also has a longitudinal elevation 11, which gives the shoe lateral support and reduces the side forces acting on the cross flap 5 and its joints 4.

From Fig. 4 it can be seen how the profile of the base plate and the counter-profile of the shoe sole interlock positively when the shoe tip 12 is clamped against the base plate with the aid of the cross flap 5. To secure the cross flap 5 on the toe 12, a counter-holder is provided in the form of two spaced apart projections 13 and 14, between which the cross flap 5 is received in a positive manner in the manner shown when the turnbuckle 6 is tensioned.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 5, the base plate 3 and its profiling 10 have the same configuration as in FIG. 4. The difference lies in the cross flap 5, which has a groove 15 on its underside, into which a groove 15 is machined on the top of the shoe tip 12 Projection 18 fits.

The ski binding can be made entirely of plastic, the cross flap 5 also being relatively stiff. However, the Ouer! Ash can also be made of rubber, which results in a more elastic fastening construction. A separate tension regulation is not necessary when using shoes of different sizes in the binding. The number, arrangement and shape of the fastening projections and the corresponding depressions or grooves can vary; essential for the invention is the design of the ski binding, in which the specially shaped toe is pressed into place in the ski binding in such a way that Both on the top and bottom of the toe of the ski binding locking groove-projection fits. The turnbuckle 6 of the cross plate 5 can also differ from that shown in the example. The tip of the shoe can also be reinforced.
