Abstract

1. A unit consisting of ski binding and ski shoe comprising a profiled base plate (3) mounted on a ski (1) for supporting the shoe (7) the sole (16) of which features a counter-profile (17) mating with the profile (10) of the base plate (3), said shoe being provided at its front end with a counter retaining means (13, 14 ; 18) mating with a clamping means located on the ski binding, said clamping means serving for clamping the shoe tip at the ski (1) characterized in that the clamping means consists of a transverse strap (5) fixed to the base plate (3) and having a clamping lock (6), said clamping lock being adapted to be closed above the shoe tip while the transverse strap is in mesh with the retaining means (13, 14 ; 28) integrated into the top side of the shoe tip.
