Abstract

1. Folding door, in particular for shower dividers and the like, comprising at least two leaves (1, 2) which are pivoted relative to one another in the region of adjacent edges (7, 8) by strap hinges (4, 5, 6), the securing straps (4, 5) of which are arranged in an extended state in a plane, characterised in that the edges (7, 8) of the two leaves (1, 2) which are associated with one another overlap and that the leaves (1, 2) are pivoted by the strap hinges (4, 5, 6) in such a way that one securing strap (4) is secured on the associated leaf (1) inside the overlapping region and the other securing strap (5) is secured on the other leaf (2) outside the overlapping region and at a distance from the edge (8) of the leaf (2).
