Abstract

In the case of basic bodies of ski bindings, it is known to provide bores to facilitate assembly, the wall of which has lugs through which the fastening screws are held in the unassembled state of the green body. These approaches are offset both relative to each other along the circumference and in the vertical direction. In order to reduce the number of lugs and at the same time to achieve an improved hold and better centering of the fastening screws (5) in the bores, it is intended to use only two lugs (6, 7), each lug having two different radii Circles is limited. The radius of the larger circle corresponds to the radius of the bore (4). The two circles touch each other tangentially, their points of contact are offset by 180 ° relative to each other.

Description

The invention relates to a base body, in particular for ski bindings, with at least one hole for a fastening screw, the wall of the hole for holding the fastening screw used in its unassembled state having lugs which are offset relative to one another both along the circumference of the hole and in the vertical direction are arranged.

A base body of the type mentioned at the outset is known, for example, as a base plate for a ski binding available on the market. In this known solution, three lugs are provided in the individual bores, which are used to hold inserted fastening screws, which are configured along a thread. The surface of each shoulder runs in the direction of the thread and also the respective pitch of this thread in order to ensure that the individual fastening screws are held securely. The disadvantage of such approaches is that a device with special tools, which ensure the production of suitable thread sections, must be used. For a secure hold of the mounting screws is inevitable in this holding device. Use of three approaches required, which in turn require the use of three tools, which still have to be eroded in order to be able to produce the required surface of the individual approaches corresponding to the pitch of the thread. Furthermore, the approaches designed in this way can easily be damaged, thereby jeopardizing the secure hold and thus the vertical position of the individual fastening screws. The result of this is that, during assembly, the screws are in a position deviating from the vertical to the top of the ski, as a result of which the intended goal is no longer achieved. It Namely, the attachment of the base plate of a ski binding should be possible without further manipulation simply by screwing the fastening screws into the holder, especially in the ski.

The invention has now set itself the task of a basic body. initially provided with such bores that their number of lugs is reduced, their quality of holding and their centering for the individual fastening screws is improved before their use compared to the known solution, the stability of the approaches used being increased and their design being simplified should.

The object is achieved according to the invention in that two approaches are provided, and that each approach, viewed in plan view, is delimited by two circles each having different radii, of which the larger radii correspond to the radius of the bore, the circles tangentially touching each other and the two contact points of the circles of the two approaches are offset relative to each other by 180 0th

The inventive design of the lugs, the use is sufficient of a pair of tabs from being able to adhere to the fixing screws in the individual holes in the desired position, the individual lugs of each pair are zueiander offset relative along the periphery of each hole 180 0th

The resulting effect is surprising insofar as experts have been expecting that two approaches will not be sufficient to achieve the goal set. In particular, it was assumed that this can in no way be achieved by using approaches which have no shape corresponding to the course of the thread of the individual fastening screws.

A particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention consists in that the individual approaches are offset in the height direction to the extent of a (full) thread turn of the fastening screw used. This ensures a special hold of the fastening screws in the individual bores without undesired deformation of the approaches taking place.

Further features, advantages and details of the invention are described in more detail with reference to the drawing, which represents an embodiment of a base body for a safety ski binding. Hiebei show: Fig.l a base body of a cheek body of a ski binding according to the invention in plan view, the Fig.2 shows a section along the line II-II of Fig.l and Fig.3 the bore with an inserted fastening screw.

A jaw body of a ski binding, designated in its entirety by 1, is fastened to the top of a ski 2 by means of a holder, referred to as the base body 3. The housing of the jaw body 1 is formed in one piece with the base body 3. Fastening screws 5 are used to fasten the base body 3 on the upper side of the ski 2, one of which is shown inserted into one of the bores 4 of the base body 3 in FIG.

As can be seen from Fig.l, two pairs of holes 4 are provided for fastening the base body 3 on the top of the ski 2. Approaches 6 and 7 are formed in the individual bores 4. In the holes 4 each provided approaches are 6.7 both in the height direction, as well, as can be seen there the Fig.l, viewed along the circumference of each hole 4, displaced relative to one another by 180 0th The distance between the two lugs 6, 7 of the bore 4 is, as can be seen in FIG. 3 in connection with a fastening screw 5, a (full) thread. This means that the two approaches 6.7 without any bevel their top or bottom normal to the top of the ski 2 form a hold for the individual fastening screws 5. Each approach 6, 7 of the individual bores 4, viewed in plan view, has a special shape, which configuration will now be discussed in detail.

When viewed in plan view, each attachment 6, 7 is determined by two circles having different diameters D, d. The larger diameter D corresponds to the diameter of the bore 4. The two circles defining each attachment 6, 7 touch each other tangentially. These points of contact of the circles of both approaches 6.7 are offset relative to each other by 180 0th

The special shape of the individual lugs 6, 7 of the individual bores 4 makes it possible to maintain the upper or lower surface configuration of these lugs 6, 7 parallel to the top of the ski 2, without the fastening screws 5 being inserted out of their position normal to the top of the ski 2 would be pushed away. The two lugs 6, 7 thus encompass partial areas of the shaft 5 a between the threads 5 b of the individual fastening screws 5, without the individual lugs 6, 7 being damaged during the screwing in thereof before or during assembly. Of course, care must be taken that only fastening screws 5 with a thread 5b are used, for which the approaches 6, 7 have been created.

The receiving point for receiving the head of the fastening screw 5 can of course also have a shape different from the shape shown in FIG. 2, depending on the design of the head.

Da die beiden Ansätze 6,7 um 180° versetzt sind liegt der untere Ansatz an der Oberseite, der obere Ansatz 6 an der Unterseite des Gewindes der Schraube 5 an.For the sake of completeness, it should also be noted that the vertical distance between the two approaches 6, 7, to the extent of a full thread, is to be measured from the bottom to the bottom or from the top to the top of the two approaches 6, 7. Since the two approaches 6.7 by 180 ° the lower shoulder is offset on the upper side, the upper shoulder 6 on the lower side of the thread of the screw 5.

The invention is not restricted to the illustrated exemplary embodiments. Further modifications are conceivable that are well within the scope of protection. So it is irrelevant whether the housing is formed in one piece with the base body or fastened to it in a known manner, for example riveted. The choice of materials for the jaw body, its housing, the base body and the fastening screws are also at the discretion of the designer, taking into account the respective conditions.
