Abstract

Voile pouvant etre utilisee pour un bateau a voile et possedant une section transversale en aerofoil formee par deux feuilles de voile qui entourent le mat (13). Chaque feuille est mise en forme par des lattes (23) logees dans des poches amenagees sur les feuilles. Les feuilles s'etendent generalement de concert, bien qu'elles presentent de preference une etendue horizontale inegale pour permettre la deformation de la voile, les lattes dans la feuille la plus courte pouvant en outre coulisser dans des poches (24) amenagees dans la feuille la plus longue. La voile est montee sur la piece en forme de T (25) sur la tete de mat et est mise sous tension verticalement au moyen de la drisse (19). On peut prevoir un wishbone possedant une cheville transversale passant de maniere coulissante au travers du mat. Le deplacement transversal de cette bome peut faire varier la section transversale en aerofoil de la voile. Le mat peut tourner horizontalement, etant monte de maniere telescopique sur la cheville (15).
