Zum Ersatz der Glühlampen mit relativ schlechtem Wirkungsgrad sind solche Lampeneinheiten bekannt, welche wenigstens mit einer, zweckmäßig Hochdruck-Gasentladungsröhre versehen sind und an den die Gasentladungsröhre in sich enthaltenden G-askolben auf irgendeine Art Vorschaltgerät befestigt ist, welches zur Betätigung der Gasentladungs röhre notwendig ist. Das Vorschaltgerät ist mit dem wohlbekannten gewindigen Lampensockel der Glühlampen versehen, deshalb ist diese kompakte Lampeneinheit in die Glühlampenfassung ohne jedweder besonderer Fachkenntnis einschraubbar. Es ist gebräuchlich solcheine Lampeneinheit energiesparende Lampeneinheit zu nennen, da die Hochdruck-Gasentladungsröhre bei gleicher Lichtstärke einviertel bis eindrittel weniger Energie verbraucht, als die Glühlampe. Solcheine Lampeneinheit gibt z.B. die Beschreibung zu der ungarischen Patentanmeldung unter der Nr. 1226/81 bekannt. Die Befestigung des Vorschaltgerätes an den Lamperkolben bedeutet ein Problem bei den energiesparenden Lampeneinheiten. Das angewendete Warmkleben beim Sockeln der Glühlampen ist hier deshalb nicht möglich, weil die Wärmeeinwirkung die Halbleiterbestandteile - welche meistens in solchem Vorschaltgerät vorhanden sind - zerstört. Es ist eine Lösung bekannt, nach welcher die Elektroden der Gasentladungsröhre an die aus dem Lampenkolben herausragenden Stromzuführungsstiften gebunden werden und diese in die auf das Vorschaltgerät montierten federnden Kontaktbuchsen stecken. Ein anderes Problem bei den energiesparenden Längeneinheiten bedeutet die Anordnung der elektronischen Bestandteile. Eine der Hauptbedingungen ist, daß das Vorschaltgerät von je kleinerem Maße sein soll, d.h. die Lampeneinheit soll in geometrischen Größen von der Glühlampe, an deren Stelle sie einzusetzen ist, nicht abweichen. Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen, wird der 50 - 60 Hz Netzstrom in einen Hochfrequenzstrom umgewandelt, weil so die strömbegrenzende Drosselspule der Gasentladungsröhre eine kleinere geometrische Größe haben kann, da zum Erreichen gleicher Impedanz mit Erhöhung der Frequenz proportional ein niedrigerer Induktivitätswert notwendig ist. Solchein Hochfrequenzgenerator des Hochfrequenz-Vorschaltgeräts ist zweckmäßig von elektronischer Ausführung, und er muß durch einen Gleichrichter netzgespeist werden. Die Erfindung ist dementsprechend einerseits eine energiesparende Lampeneinheit, in deren Lampenkolben mindestens eine Gasentladungsröhre angeordnet ist, mit einem an dem Hals des Lampenkolbens befestigten Hochfrequenz-Vorschaltgerät und mit dem damit verbundenen Lampensockel versehen ist und auch so ein Formstück enthält, welches einerseits mit Klebstoff - zweckmäßig auf Wärmehitzung sich bindender Klebstoffan den Hals des Lampenkolbens befestigt ist, andererseits mit lösbarer oder unlösbarer Verbindung an die Grundplatte des Hochfrequenz—Vorschaltgeräts, zweckmäßig an dessen Grundplatte, angeschlossen ist. Es muß bemerkt werden, daß der aus der Glühlampenproduktion bekannte Tellerfuß des Glasgestelles in dem Hals des Lampenkolbens inbegriffen ist. Die lösbare oder unlösbare Verbindung kann - abhängig von Material, Ausführung des Formstückes und der Grundplatte - sehr vielfaltig sein, zweckmäßig aber ist sie eine Schraube bzw. ein Niet, oder Lötverbindung, oder Punktschweißung, oder Verkleben.
