- a handwheel 8 is attached, which - since the axis 7 is firmly seated on the base plate 2 - remains stationary when the hub 6 rotates about the axis 7 with the seat support 4.
- Such a movement can therefore be caused by a passenger who is supported on the handwheel 8 with his hands.
- the axis 7 is not fixed vertically on the base plate 2, but this is arranged inclined on it, namely radially outwards according to FIG. 1, radially inwards according to FIG.
- the axis 7 of the seat support 4 encloses an angle ⁇ with the vertical.
- the seat support 4 is attached to the hub 6 with its horizontal main plane 4a.
- the seat support 4 is arranged with the aid of the hub 6 to be freely rotatable about the axis 7 on an intermediate disc 9, which in turn is mounted on the base disc 2 about an axis 10.
- a drive 11, only indicated, rotates the intermediate disk 9 about the axis 10 and in this way moves the seat support 4 with the seat 5 thereon at different radial distances from the central axis 3, which results in movements of the seat support 4 with the hub 6 that depend on this Axis 7 leads.
- Fig. 1 is indicated by dash-dotted lines that the bottom plate 2 can be tilted with the central axis 3 (or tilted while lifting), so that the bottom plate 2 assumes an oblique position with all its superstructures with respect to its original horizontal main plane.
- the angle by which the central axis 3 is pivoted against the vertical is designated by ⁇ in FIG. 1.
- the arrangement will be made so that the angle ⁇ is smaller than the angle of inclination ⁇ of the seat support axes 7.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a circular ride with a bottom disk rotatable and drivable about a substantially vertical central axis, on which a plurality of seat supports are each attached to a hub at a distance from the central axis and are rotatably mounted about a likewise substantially vertical axis, the horizontal main plane each Seat carrier runs perpendicular to the central axis.
Circular rides of this type are known in several varieties. Compared to the simple carousel, on the bottom pane of which the seats or seat supports are rigidly attached, such a construction has the advantage of an additional movement sequence and thus a greater driving experience.
In the known rides of this type, the central axes of the seat supports are perpendicular to the base plate and thus run parallel to the central axis. Depending on the design, the seat support (with one seat or more) can rotate about its axis over the full circle or is limited by stops to a swivel segment.
Starting from this state of the art, the invention is based on the object of making the attractiveness of a product without additional manufacturing outlay to further increase such - relatively simple - rides.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the axes of the seat supports are inclined with respect to the central axis and the seat supports are attached to their hubs at an angle corresponding to the inclination, so that the main plane of the seat support extends perpendicular to the central axis only in a rest position. In this rest position, the seat support is at the lowest point of its circular path around the seat support axis, while at every other point of the circular path the seat support (with the seat) is raised and its main plane encloses an angle deviating from 90 ° with the central axis, so that this main level does not - as in the rest position and in the known constructions - extend parallel to the base plate. However, due to gravity, the seat support (which can be freely rotated about its axis) tends to return to the aforementioned rest position when it has been deflected out of it. In the rest position, the seat support (or its circumferential segment center) inevitably points in the direction in which the axis of the seat support is inclined.
The axis of the seat support is preferably inclined either radially outwards or radially inwards. Compared to a sideways inclination, this has the advantage of a sensible alignment of the seat supports and thus the seats in their rest position, which is also the entry position when changing passengers.
In the operation of the roundabout shop according to the invention, each seat carrier including the seat and passenger is already Carry out an 'ascent and descent' due to acceleration and deceleration forces. He can also bring about such a vertical movement superimposed on the two rotary movements (about the central axis and the seat support axis); Therefore, a handwheel - relative to the base plate - is rigidly attached to the upper end of the axis of the seat support.
A further development of the invention provides that the seat supports are arranged in groups on intermediate disks, each of which can be rotated and driven about an intermediate axis perpendicular to the base disk and has a radial distance from the central axis. Such satellite constructions are known per se. With regard to the intermediate axis, the arrangement according to the invention and the new effect of the seat support axles with their seat supports are the same as described above with respect to the central axis, but this still overlaps the rotation of the intermediate discs about the central axis, so that an additional one for the individual Passenger up and down centrifugal force field acts.
Finally, it is still possible to make the arrangement in such a way that the central axis can be inclined at an angle to the vertical which is smaller than the angle of inclination of the seat support axes. The latter condition prevents the effect of the seat support axis inclination from being canceled by the inclination of the central axis. For the rest, however, two 'ascents and descents' overlap in this case; while maintaining the superimposed rotary movements.
Darin zeigt:
- Fig. 1 in schematischem Querschnitt eine Hälfte der Bodenscheibe mit jedoch nur einem Sitzträger;
- Fig. 2 eine der
- Fig. 4 eine der
Figur 1 entsprechende Darstellung der Anordnung mit Zwischenscheibe.
- 1 shows a schematic cross section of one half of the base plate, but with only one seat support;
- FIG. 2 shows an illustration identical to FIG. 1, but with a different seat support arrangement;
- 3 shows a plan view, likewise schematic, of a quarter-circle section of the circular shop; and
- Fig. 4 is a representation corresponding to Figure 1 of the arrangement with washer.
In the manner customary in carousels, a central
Deviating from known arrangements, the
Since the

The same applies if the
In Fig. 1 is indicated by dash-dotted lines that the
An additional driving sensation arises when the
