Die Bohrung kann über ein Steuerorgan mit der Unterdruckquelle derart verbunden sein, daß die Bohrung mit dem Unterdruck beaufschlagt wird, sobald die Leimdüse abgesperrt wird. In der Ausnehmung 9 mündet eine Bohrung 10, welche mit einer nicht dargestellten Unterdruckquelle verbunden ist, so daß der Leimfaden 8 eingesaugt wird. Claims (3)

1. Apparatus for intermittently applying adhesive to moving material (6) especially packaging material, with a glue nozzle (2) which is capable of being cut off, and a step-shaped recess (9) arranged adjacent to the nozzle, which recess is located behind the glue nozzle (2) in the transport direction of the material (6), characterised in that a bore (10), which is connected with a negative pressure source, is provided in the recess (9).
2. Apparatus according to claim 1, characterised in that the bore (10) is connected with the negative pressure source via a control member in such a manner that the bore (10) is coupled with the vacuum as soon as the glue nozzle (2) is cut off.
3. Apparatus according to claim 1, characterised in that the bore (10) is permanently connected with the negative pressure source.
