Abstract

1. Closure of a packaging container (6), for a product which is liquid or can be trickled, with a mechanically stabilising sleeve, with a cover (1) adapted to the sleeve and the sealing lining thereof, a moulded-on neck (10) encompassing the product issue opening (2) of the container (6) and having a closure cap (11, 15), wherein the closure cap (11) is to be coupled to the neck (10) in child-proof manner, characterised thereby, that a cover (1) adapted to the sleeve and, in a given case, to the sealing lining thereof possesses an outwardly projecting edge strip (4) at at least one edge as bearing surface for the sealing adhesion thereto of adjoining surface portions (5) of the sleeve.

Description

The invention relates to a closure of a packaging container for liquid or free-flowing product with a mechanically stabilizing sleeve. The latter can be designed as a folding box, plastic bottle, metal or glass structure or the like.

A packaging container with a mechanically stabilizing sleeve and a sealing lining inserted therein, in particular starting from a preform, in which the sleeve and the lining are coupled to one another after being produced separately with the aid of an adapter cover which is adapted to their openings and comprises a product outlet opening of the lining -OS 30 45 710.4 known. In this connection system of two packaging components, the adapter cover essentially has a purely connection function and serves to simplify the assembly. In this case, the adapter cover is pushed over the latter before the shaping, ie inflation, of the preform used to produce the lining and is locked there in a position secured against rotation in the circumferential direction. By reshaping the preform, for example in the stretch blow molding process, the adapter cover is then also secured in the axial direction of the lining produced from the preform, before or after insertion into the sleeve. To create the firm, permanent connection between the liner and the adapter cover, the latter is already on the preform put on as such and this is inflated through the adapter cover, in particular with the aid of a separate holding or blowing mandrel. The adapter covers provided in the known essentially consist of an annular area surrounding the product outlet opening with the coupling parts for connecting the lining and the casing.

The invention is based on the object, when using adapter lids of the same or similar design with regard to the connection function as in the known packaging system, to provide additional equipment which simplifies the application, in particular a reclosable packaging which is also leakproof in relation to hygroscopic powder products is to be created, which can be equipped with a child lock to prevent unauthorized opening of the lock. The solution according to the invention in the case of the packaging container with a sealed and mechanically 'stabilizing envelope for liquid or free-flowing product is that a neck with the sealing cap which is adapted to the envelope and, if appropriate, its sealing lining is formed with a closure cap to be fitted onto the product outlet opening of the container.

The neck molded onto the adapter cover in a continuation of the product outlet opening according to the invention initially enables a targeted delivery of the product. The opening in the adapter cover remains open in the axial direction, so that there is no difficulty in inflating a preform attached to the adapter cover when manufacturing the packaging.

According to the invention is also a sealing Ver on the neck put on the end cap, which may have to be fixed on the neck with any suitable child safety device. For example, the childproof lock can consist in that the closure cap can only be opened after rotation in a certain circumferential direction and pressing on the container, as is known from many medicament packs.

According to a further invention, in a closure of the type mentioned at the outset, the object is additionally or alternatively provided that a cover adapted to the casing and, if appropriate, its sealing lining, has an edge tab projecting outwards (with respect to the cover surface) as a support on at least one edge for sealingly gluing adjacent surface parts of the cover. This enables a tight, centered fit and, at the same time, a tight coupling area.

A still further, supplementary or alternative solution consists in that the product outlet opening of a lid adapted to the casing and, if appropriate, its sealing lining is completely filled with a disk having scatter holes and that one of the disk or, respectively, on the edge of the adapter lid surrounding the product outlet opening a closure flap assigned to the scatter holes is attached, in particular via a film hinge.

In this embodiment of the invention, a disc with scattering holes is inserted into the opening of the aforementioned neck and the aforementioned cap is used as a flap attached to the edge of the neck via a film hinge educated. This solution opens up wide areas of application for the adapter lid on the so-called green market, in particular as a sprinkler for powdery or granular products. Other known folding box and can packaging or the like with the reclosable application aid according to the invention can also be easily equipped with the spreading device.

A part of the neck that may protrude on the inside of the adapter lid can be used or designed as a welding socket for welding on a lining of the container, which is preferably made of plastic. In this way, a tight, torsion-proof weld coupling of the adapter cover and lining can be produced without the contact areas in question having to be specially prepared by shaping.

What is important in all of the aforementioned features, which can be combined as desired, is the double function of the adapter lid, which is provided anyway for stabilizing and possibly holding the container together and, according to the invention, takes on further tasks, in particular as an application aid.

The adapter lid 1 of Figs. 1 to 3 and 6 has a round product outlet opening 2 and can be on the side of the header of the associated container, e.g. a folding box according to the cut of Fig. 5, are attached. At least partially an edge 3 runs around the cover 1 and is provided for centering on the opening of the respective packaging container to be fitted.

In the exemplary embodiment, the peripheral edge 3 on one side of the cover 1 is omitted in favor of an edge tab 4 according to the invention. The edge flap is schematically shown in Fig. 1 from below, in Fig. 3 from above and in Fig. 4 in section poses. It can serve as a support for directly adhering an adjacent container flap, for example a top side flap 5 of a folding box according to FIG. 5, in the manner shown schematically in FIG. 6 on the right side. 6 also shows, on the left-hand side, for comparison a plug-in fastening of the adapter cover 1 on the container 6. The preferably folded edge 7 of the container 6 is clamped essentially immovably between the peripheral edge 3 and the clamping web 8 of the adapter cover 1. Otherwise, the adapter cover 1 can be attached to the container 6 with the aid of the locking cams 9.

According to FIG. 2, the adapter cover 1 has an adapter neck 10 which is integrally formed thereon, which not only enables a targeted product outlet, but is also designed to receive a closure flap 11. A child safety device can be integrated in the coupling between the adapter neck 10 and the closure flap 11 in the usual way. A secure and centered fit of the adapter cover 1 on the container 6, which may be formed from the lining and casing, can be ensured via the peripheral edge 3 and the edge tab 4, the locking cams 9 and, if appropriate, clamping webs 8.

Another exemplary embodiment is explained with reference to FIGS. 7 and 8. Fig. 7 shows an example in the view from below of a round adapter cover 1 with a disc 12 inserted or molded therein, which contains scatter holes 13. A flap 15 is integrally formed on the cover 1 via a film hinge 14. Fig. 7 shows the section along the line VII-VII of Fig. 6 for the case of the closed, preferably flat flap 15 to be placed on the disk 12 on a container 6. The flanged container edge 7 is clamped between the peripheral edge 3 and the peripheral clamping web 6, the locking cams 9 protruding from the latter. Instead of the round - as before - a square version is also possible. The design features of FIGS. 7 and 8 can of course be combined in any way with those of FIGS. 1 to 6 and vice versa.
