Abstract

1. Description

Bei einer bekannten Einrichtung dieser Art wird erreicht, daß die Elemente zur Lagerung und Halterung des Klappdeckels an der Gehäuseabdeckung diesen Teilen materialeinheitlich aus demselben Werkstoff angeformt sind, wobei eine elastische Ausbildung von Klappdeckel und Gehäuseabdeckung nicht erforderlich ist (DE-A-2 254 222). Dabei sind Klappdeckel und Gehäuseabdeckung im Bereich der Lagerung jeweils mit einer stufenartigen Aussparung versehen, wodurch der Klappdeckel in einer bestimmten Öffnungslage zwischen den Lagerstellen axial verschiebbar und von einer Seite zwischen beiden Lagerstellen herausnehmbar bzw. einsetzbar ist. Um zu verhindern, daß der Klappdeckel bei einem in Gebrauch befindlichen Gerät von der Abdeckung wieder gelöst werden kann, sind die stufenartigen Aussparungen so angeordnet, daß der Klappdeckel nur bei einem Öffnungswinkel von mehr als 180° einsetzbar ist. Eine solche Anordnung ist somit nur bei unmittelbar an einer Wand befestigbaren Gehäuseabdeckplatten, z. B. für Unterputz-Installation oder dgl., anwendbar, so daß der Klappdeckel nicht in eine Winkellage von mehr als 180° aufgeklappt werden kann. Somit scheidet eine solche Ausbildung bei Gehäusen für Aufputzanordnung völlig aus. Durch die stufenartige Aussparungen ist eine solche Ausbildung auch nur bei einer relativ flachen Gehäuseabdeckung anwendbar, da bei einer über der Wand stärker auftragenden dickeren Abdeckung im Bereich der Lagerung durch die stufenartigen Aussparungen eine unschöne Lücke sichtbar wäre. Da in der axial verschobenen Lage des Klappdeckels zur Gehäuseabdekkung die Schließfeder im gespannten Zustand sich befindet, muß zu deren Montage der Klappdeckel mit der eingesetzten Schließfeder in geschlossener Lage auf die Gehäuseabdeckung aufgesetzt werden, um die Schließfeder in ihrem in dieser Lage weitgehend entspannten Zustand mit ihrem an der Abdeckung sich abstützenden Schenkel zunächst montieren zu können. Der somit vorerst auf nur einem Zapfen lagernde Klappdeckel muß dann in die Öffnungsstellung gedreht werden, um die axiale Verschiebung zu bewirken, damit er dann auf den zweiten Lagerzapfen gesteckt werden kann. Hierbei sind die Gelenkzapfen an der Gehäuseabdeckung bündig mit der Außenkante abschließend in Ausnehmungen angeordnet. Durch die Ausnehmungen werden somit innerhalb der Gehäuseabdeckung Durchbrüche geschaffen, so daß eine solche Klappdeckelanordnung nur bei einfachen, dem Berührungsschutz dienenden Abdeckungen anwendbar ist. Bei Abdeckungen wassergeschützter Geräte ist somit eine solche Anordnung nicht verwertbar. Hierbei ist es auch zwingend erforderlich, daß der Klappdeckel durch eine Schließfeder zwangsweise geschlossen wird. The assembly of the hinged cover 2 with the torsion spring 10 and the reliable insertion of the spring leg 13 in the slot 14 is further facilitated in that the laterally open slot 8 and 9 of the bearings 6 and 7 in the direction of the angular bias of the spring leg 13 to the bearing axis 17 is arranged. The bearing pin 5 of the housing cover 1 receiving the spring leg 13 expediently has a diameter which corresponds approximately to that of the torsion spring 10. The bearing pin 4 and the bearing 6 can have a diameter corresponding to the bearing pin 5 and the bearing 7, but they can also, as in the present example, be made smaller in diameter. As can also be seen from FIG. 5, the bearing journal 5 is provided with flats 16 extending in the plug-in direction of the hinged lid 2 for easier attachment of the hinged lid 2.

Durch diese Ausgestaltung ist es möglich, eine einfache und zuverlässige Lagerung eines Klappdeckels an einer Gehäuseabdeckung vorzunehmen, bei der im Bereich der Klappdeckellagerung keine nach außen offenen Schlitze oder Öffnungen entstehen, die das geschmackvolle Äußere der Abdeckung und des Klappdekkels stören würden. Insbesondere sind in dem Bereich der Lagerung der Schenkelfeder für den an der Abdeckung 1 gelagerten Federschenkel keine Schlitze am Klappdeckel 2 erforderlich, die sich ergeben, wenn ein ausreichender Öffnungswinkel für den Klappdeckel erzielt werden soll.This configuration makes it possible to carry out a simple and reliable mounting of a hinged lid on a housing cover, in which no outwardly open slots or openings are formed in the area of the hinged lid storage which would disrupt the tasteful exterior of the cover and the hinged lid. Claims (5)

1. Hinged lid for the housings of electrical equipment, especially switches and sockets, having a housing cover (1) which has mounting blocks (3) having laterally projecting, integrally formed pivot pins (4, 5) for pivotably mounting the hinged lid (2) by means of mounting portions (6, 7) moulded in the latter, with a torsion spring (10) for closing the hinged lid (2) being arranged in at least one mounting portion in such a way that it is supported by one of its spring legs (13) against the housing cover (1), characterised in that the mounting portions (6,7) of the hinged lid (2) can be locked onto the pivot pins (4,5) at right angles to their axial direction by means of a laterally open slot (8, 9), and that the spring leg (13), supported against the housing cover (1), of the torsion spring (10) is bent radially inwards and is located in a transverse slot (14) of the pivot pin (5).
2. Hinged lid according to claim 1, characterised in that the pivot pin (5) which accommodates the spring leg (13) has a diameter which approximately corresponds to that of the torsion spring (10).
3. Hinged lid according to claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the diameter of the pivot pin (5) which accommodates the spring leg (13) has flats (16) in the mount-on direction of the hinged lid (2).

Hinged lid according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the spring leg (13) which is bent radially inwards has an angular initial tension relativ to the slot (14) of the pivot pin (5) and that the slot (14), in the direction of this angular inital tension, is provided with an extension which is formed by a chamfer (15).
5. Hinged lid according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the laterally open slot (8, 9) of the mounting portions (6, 7) is arranged in an offset manner to the mounting axis (17) in the direction of the angular initial tension of the spring leg (13).
