The object of the present invention is to provide a radiant heater which, compared to the known arrangements, has an improved effectiveness, is easier to assemble, ensures a mode of operation free of crackling noises, enables problem-free absorption and compensation of thermal expansions resulting in the longitudinal direction, and one Uncritical compensation of unevenness in the wall or not exactly right-angled corner areas of the respective room allowed.

Die gestellte Aufgabe wird im wesentlichen dadurch gelöst, daß die Metallprofilteile an ihrer Ober- und Unterseite innenliegende Längsleisten aufweisen, die mit den wandseitig befestigten Halteelementen unter Aufrechterhaltung einer axialen Verschiebbarkeit kuppelbar sind, daß zumindest die geradlinigenThe radiant heater according to the invention preferably consists of a plurality of baseboard-shaped metal profile parts of predeterminable length, which are provided with at least two spaced rows of holes running in the longitudinal direction, at least two tubes each intended for guiding hot water and thermally conductively connected to the metal profile parts, provided at the tube ends for Connection of especially elastic connecting lines, certain coupling elements, holding elements for fixing the profile parts on the wall side, and in the cross-sectional shape adapted to the metal profile parts, straight or angled cover profiles. The stated object is essentially achieved in that the metal profile parts have internal longitudinal strips on their upper and lower sides, which can be coupled to the holding elements fastened to the wall while maintaining axial displaceability, in that at least the rectilinear ones

The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing using exemplary embodiments; in the drawing shows:
  • 1 is a schematic cross-sectional view of an assembled radiant heater according to the invention,
  • 2 is a partial front view of the arrangement of FIG. 1,
  • 3 shows a schematic front view of a cover profile part designed in the form of a bellows,

The sectional view according to FIG. 1 shows a module of a beam band heater attached to the floor 1 on a wall 2. The attachment to the wall is done via Brackets 3 designed as plastic or sheet metal parts, which are fastened to the wall 2 by means of screws 4.

The modules of the radiant heater, which are fixed by means of spaced brackets 3, each consist of a metal profile part 5, which is preferably produced in a continuous casting process, in particular from aluminum.

This metal profile part 5 consists of a substantially flat front wall 10, which forms the main jet surface and which is connected via heat-conducting webs 8, 9 to tubes 6, 7 which run parallel to one another and at a distance and which carry the respective heating medium, in particular hot water. In the example shown, the tubes 6 and 7 are formed in one piece with the front wall 10. The surface of the tubes 6, 7 is provided with longitudinal grooves which enlarge the surface and which are easy to produce in the continuous casting process.

On the bottom side, an inclined wall 11 adjoins the front wall 10, which leads to a lower longitudinal bar 14 serving for fastening purposes. In the upper area, the front wall merges into a top wall 12, on which, on the one hand, an essentially vertical upper longitudinal line 13, also used for fastening purposes, is formed: and, on the other hand, is led to the wall 2 with the formation of a recess serving to create a shadow groove .

The upper longitudinal bar 13 engages in an upper U-holder 15 of the holder 3. The lower longitudinal bar 14 is in engagement with a lower U-receptacle 16, which is assigned a resilient locking element 17 of the holder 3, which provides a vertical fixation in the assembled state of the metal profile part 5.

It is characteristic of the attachment of the modules designed according to the invention that, owing to the presence of the upper and lower longitudinal strips 13, 14 and the upper and lower U-receptacles 15, 16 formed in the holders 3, this is simple, regardless of the position and the design of the tubes 6, 7, the modules can be plugged onto the holders. Due to the design of the U-receptacles and the presence of the locking elements 17, secure fixation on all sides is achieved and at the same time a longitudinal displacement of the modules with respect to the holders is ensured. This longitudinal displaceability is extremely advantageous with regard to the thermal expansions that arise during operation, since the absence of any fixed or jamming clamping in the longitudinal direction prevents the occurrence of disturbing cracking noises.

The metal profile part 5 has, compared to the lower longitudinal bar 14, a projecting apron-like bar, the free end of which ends with the formation of a shadow groove above the floor and the presence of any unevenness in the floor optically disappears.

In order to ensure air circulation, as can be seen in FIG. 2 showing a front view of a module, openings in the region between the lower longitudinal bar 14 and the inclined wall 11 have the form of vertical elongated holes 22 which form air inlet openings. The air outlet takes place via openings 21 made in the upper region of the front wall 10, which consist of horizontally extending elongated holes. While there is only one row of adjacent vertical elongated holes 22 in the lower area, two adjacent rows of elongated holes 21 are preferably arranged in the upper area, which are formed in longitudinal grooves 18 of the front wall 10.

These longitudinal grooves 18, which are located in the area of the upper tube 6, also contribute to an increase in the surface area of the radiating front wall 11. A longitudinal groove 19 is preferably also formed in the region of the web 9, which connects the radiant panel to the tube 7.

Due to the longitudinal grooves 18, 19 and with respect to the front wall 10 strongly recessed wall part 35, in which the lower air inlet openings 22 are formed, and the skirt-like bottom end strip, not only does the individual modules have an aesthetically pleasing overall impression, but it also becomes essential functional Advantages with regard to the radiation properties, the air flow, the compactness and the heat transfer from the tubes 6, 7 to the metal profile part 5 are achieved. By forming a direct contact between the holder 3 and the tubes 6, 7, the overall structure can be stabilized and, if metal holders are used, an additional heat transfer surface can be created.

The bellows cover profile 23 shown in FIG. 3 is positively coupled to the respective adjacent modules via coupling brackets 24 and, due to the bellows-like design, enables length compensation in straight sections of an assembled radiant heater, as is required if thermal expansions are recorded without the formation of disturbing gaps have to. In addition, such bellows parts, if they are switched on in a longer straight section of a radiant heater, can also indirectly contribute to compensating for uneven floors, since they compensate for smaller horizontal misalignments of adjacent modules.

Fig. 4 zeigt eine Inneneck-Verbindung zweier Module unter Verwendung eines faltenbalgartig ausgebildeten Inneneck-Abdeckprofils 27.4 shows an inner corner connection of two modules using a bellows-shaped inner corner cover profile 27.

The tubes of the modules adjoining the corner connection are connected to one another via elastic hoses 29. To connect such connecting hoses, the tubes 6, 7 are provided on the end face with screw nipples. To fix the inside corner cover profile 27, which consists of a bellows element 23 at least in the corner area, special brackets 3 are provided, which are provided with lateral support lugs 25 on which a vertical coupling axis 26 is formed. Appropriately designed clamp parts of the inside corner cover profile can be snapped onto this vertical dome axis 26. In this way, with two brackets to be fastened in the corner area, 3 holding receptacles for metal profile parts 5 and the inner corner cover profile part 27 can be created, only the corner-side coupling axes 26 of the brackets 3 being used as snap-in receptacles in the case shown in FIG. 4. Due to the symmetrical design of the brackets 3, however, they can be used universally.

The sectional view according to FIG. 5 again shows a front view of a holder 3 with laterally leading support lugs and a vertically extending coupling axis 26. Furthermore, it can be seen that these holders 3 in the area of their upper (and lower ends with U-receptacles for the corresponding hanging retaining strips The bellows-like design of the inner corner part 27 creates the greatest possible independence from the exactness of the respective corner of the room, thereby facilitating the assembly of the radiant heater and providing perfect, form-fitting transitions between the modules ending in the corner area.

Vorzugsweise werden zwischen den einzelnen Teilen kraftübertragende Klemmaufnahmen geschaffen.6 shows a plan view of an outer corner transition using an outer corner cover profile 31, the outer contour of which is partially circular in cross section and extends over an angle of 90 °. On the inside, this outer corner cover profile 31 is provided with clamping receptacles, which together with the form vertically extending dome axes of the brackets 3 snap connections. The brackets 3 correspond to the brackets described in connection with FIGS. 4 and 5, but in the case of an external corner connection they are attached directly adjacent to the respective wall corner. A cover profile bellows 23 is arranged between metal profile parts 5 and the outer corner cover profile 31, as is shown, for example, in FIG. 3. The coupling tabs 24 provided on this part can engage in the central region of the metal profile parts 5 in the C-profile receptacles provided between the tubes 6, 7. Force-transmitting clamping receptacles are preferably created between the individual parts.

Due to the interposition of bellows parts 24 between the rigid outer corner cover profile 31 and the adjacent metal profile parts 5, a large degree of independence from the correct rectangularity of the respective outer corner is again achieved and these bellows sections 23 are also suitable for problem-free length compensation due to thermal expansion.

In the right part of Fig. 6, a termination element of a radiant heater is shown. In this area, the upper and lower tubes 6, 7 are connected via a connector 32, so that the necessary flow path between the flow and return lines is created. By means of a holder 3 designed in the same way as already described, an end cap 33 is fixed by snap connection with the coupling axis 26 with the interposition of a bellows part 34. This end cap is a part corresponding to or identical to the outer corner cover profile part 31.

Due to the design of the individual modules, it can be achieved that the portion of the total emitted via radiation emitted heat output is about 40 to 50%. Installation problems arising from not exactly rectangular internal corners or external corners and also from height displacements in the floor area are eliminated in the radiant heater according to the invention by the use of intermediate elements which are flexible in at least one plane and allow individual modules to be connected to one another at practically any angle and to compensate for a possible height offset in the floor level.

Another very important advantage is that the flexible elements automatically compensate for thermal expansion, which can be several centimeters in larger rooms, so that the radiant heater according to the invention can be installed largely without taking thermal expansion into account later in operation, since the required length compensation via the flexible intermediate elements.

The sliding coupling that is always present between the modules and intermediate members or cover members on the one hand and the brackets on the other hand ensures an exact positional positioning of the individual modules and a noise-free, especially crack-free expansion and contraction depending on the respective temperature.

According to one embodiment variant, two retaining tabs are attached to the side of the cover part 23, which ensure a positive and non-positive connection with the angled corner profile parts 27, 31.
