Abstract
Faserbänder müssen im Laufe des Spinnprozesses komprimiert oder deren Maß muß ermittelt werden. Zu diesem Zweck verwendet man sogenannte Nutenwalzenpaare, d.h. profilierte Walzen, welche eine beidseitig begrenzte Durchgangsnut für das Faserband definieren. Das Faserband wird durch einen Trichter (10) bis in die Durchgangsnut geführt. Dabei besteht die Gefahr, daß Einzelfasern sich zwischen den die seitliche Begrenzung der Nut bildenden Seitenflächen (6', 7') der Walzen (2, 3) verklemmen können. Diese Gefahr wird dadurch beseitigt, daß die Faseraustrittsöffnung (12) des Trichters (10) innerhalb des Bereiches des Keilspaltes (13) liegt, welcher begrenzt ist durch die Überlappungszone (15) der Seitenflächen (6', 7') der Walzen (2, 3).Slivers must be compressed during the spinning process or their dimensions must be determined. Die Walze 3 weist eine periphere Nut 6 auf, in welche ein peripher verlaufender Flansch 7 der Walze 2 mit geringem Spiel zwischen den Seitenflächen 7' des Flansches 7 und den Seitenflächen 6' der Nut 6 eingreift. Eine etwas andere Ausführungsform ist in Fig. 2 dargestellt. Die Peripherien der Walzen 4 und 5 sind gegengleich treppenförmig gestaltet und bilden, spiegelbildlich angeordnet, im Zentrum ebenfalls eine Komprimier-oder Klemmlinie 1. Auch hier liegen die Seitenflächen 17 und 18 der Walze 4 mit geringem Spiel zu den Seitenflächen 19 und 20 der Walze 5. Die Fig. 3 zeigt die Lage des erfindungsgemässen Faserbandtrichters 10 in bezug auf die Walzenpaare 2,3. Die Trichtermittelachse 11 des Trichters 10 verläuft im wesentlichen rechtwinklig zur Verbindungsebene der beiden Walzenachsen 8,9 durch die Klemmlinie 1. Die ausgangsseitige Oeffnung 12 des Trichters 10 reicht gerade soweit in den Keilspalt 13 vor der Klemmlinie 1, dass ein aus der Oeffnung 12 austretendes Faserband 14 sich bis zur Klemmlinie 1 nicht über deren seitliche Ausdehnung a (Breite der Klemminie 1) hinaus ausbreiten kann. Die seitliche Begrenzung für das Faserband 14 ist durch diese Anordnung innerhalb der Ueberlappungszone 15 der Seitenflächen 6' der Nut 6 und der Seitenflächen 7' des Flansches gewährleistet und ein Verklemmen von einzelnen Fasern aus dem Verband des Faserbandes 14 ist ausgeschlossen.
