Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Tastenschalter gemäß dem Oberbegriff des ersten Anspruchs.The invention relates to a key switch according to the preamble of the first claim.
Bei einem bekannten Tastenschalter dieser Art (US-PS 4 078 257) liegt auf einem Kontaktträger eine Abstandsfolie mit Durchbrüchen im Bereich von aufgedruckten oder aufgedampften Kontakten. Auf die Abstandsfolie ist eine durchgehende Folie aufgelegt, welche im Bereich der Durchbrüche ebenfalls mit Gegenkontakten versehen ist. Als Betätigungselement ist oberhalb der Kontaktbereiche ein in eine weitere Folie eingeformter Betätigungsknopf vorgesehen. Durch Druck auf den Betätigungsknopf wird die Folie so weit gestreckt, bis die darin angeordneten Kontaktflächen durch den Durchbruch hindurch in Berührung mit den auf dem Kontaktträger angeordneten Kontakt kommen. Bei dieser Ausgestaltung muß die verformbare Folie dünn sein, damit die zur Streckung der Folie erforderliche Betätigungskraft annehmbare Werte aufweist. Dünne Folien sind jedoch schwierig zu verarbeiten. Außerdem wird die Folie beim Hindurchdrücken durch den Durchbruch zwangsläufig gereckt wodurch die Gefahr besteht, daß eine bleibende Verformung eintritt und eine sichere Trennung der Kontakte nicht mehr gewährleistet ist.In a known key switch of this type (US Pat. Bei einer Ausgestaltung gemäß der Erfindung wird die Biegeelastizität der Folie ausgenutzt, so daß ein Recken der Folie nicht mehr erforderlich ist. Die Folie wird dadurch nur gering beansprucht, so daß eine erhöhte Lebensdauer bzw. Funktionssicherheit erreicht wird. Auf einem Kontaktträger 1 befinden sich paarweise angeordnete Kontakte 2, die über nicht dargestellte Verbindungsleitungen mit äußeren Anschlüssen verbindbar sind. Oberhalb des Kontaktträgers 1 befindet sich eine Folie 3 aus elastischem Material, aus welcher im Bereich der Kontakte 2 Laschen 4 freigestanzt sind. Im Bereich der freien Enden der Laschen 4 befinden sich Gegenkontakte 5, mit welchen durch Niederdrücken der Laschen 4 die jeweils zugeordneten Kontaktpaare 2 überbrückbar sind. Es ist jedoch auch möglich, die Gegenkontakte 5 über Leitungsb-ahnen auf der Folie 3 mit äußeren Anschlüssen zu verbinden. Auf der Folie 3, die aus elektrisch isolierendem Kunststoff besteht, liegt eine Abdeckfolie 6 auf, in die domförmige Betätigungselemente 7 eingeformt sind. Die Betätigungselemente 7 sind je einer Lasche 4 zugeordnet und weisen einen Steg 8 auf, der vom Rand eines runden, die Lasche 4 umgreifenden Durchbruchs 9 in der die Folie 3 überdeckenden Abdeckfolie 6 ausgeht und über die Ebene der Abdeckfolie 6 hochgezogen ist sowie die Lasche 4 übergreift. Der Steg 8 ist oberhalb des mit der Folie 3 verbundenen Fußes 10 der Lasche 4 schwenkbar angesetzt, wobei der die Lasche 4 übergreifende Teil des Steges 8 als Betätigungsfläche 11 dient. Der Steg 8 ist über eine kegelförmige Stützhaut 12 mit dem übrigen Rand des Durchbruchs 9 verbunden. Die Stützhaut 12 bewirkt einen staub- und wasserdichten Abschluß im Bereich des Betätigungselementes 7 und bewirkt insbesondere beim Niederdrücken des Betätigungselementes 7 einen Schnappeffekt, wodurch eine Momentschaltung der Kontakte 2, 5 erzielt wird.
Gemäß den Figuren 1 und 2 befinden sich die Lasche 4 im unbetätigten Zustand in der Ebene der Folie 3. Es ist daher zwischen die Folie 3 und den Kontaktträger 1 eine Abstandsfolie 13 eingesetzt, die im Bereich der Kontakte 2,5 Aussparungen 14 aufweist. Hierdurch wird der-notwendige Abstand zwischen den Kontakten 2 und den Gegenkontakten 5 sichergestellt. Durch Niederdrücken der Betätigungsfläche 11, die an ihrer Innenseite eine Betätigungsnase 15 aufweist, wird durch die Schnappwirkung des domförmigen Betätigungselementes 7 über die Betätigungsnase 15 die Lasche 4 gegen die zugeordneten Kontakte 2 nach Art eines Schnappschalters gedrückt. Aufgrund der Eigenelastizität der Folie 3 schwenkt dann nach dem Loslassen des Betätigungselementes 7 die Lasche 4 in ihre plane Ausgangslage, d.h. in die Ebene der Folie 3 zurück.According to FIGS. 1 and 2, the
Bei einer Ausgestaltung des Tastenschalters gemäß den Figuren 3 und 4 liegt die aüs.isolierendem Material bestehende Folie 3 unmittelbar auf dem Kontaktträger 1 auf. Um hierbei eine Berührung der Kontakte 2 mit dem Gegenkontakt 5-zu verhindern, sind die Laschen 4 an ihrem Fuß 10 gegenüber der Ebene der Folie 3 durch bleibende Verformung in einem spitzen Winkel so abgeknickt, daß die Gegenkontakte 5 in schräger Lage gegenüber den Kontakten 2 abgehoben sind. Hierdurch kann eine Abstandsfolie zwischen der Folie 3 und dem Kontaktträger 1 entfallen, so daß deren Herstellungs- und Montagekosten eingespart werden können. Um die Schrägstellung der Laschen 4 zu gewährleisten, können auch auf dem Kontaktträger 1 im Bereich des Fußes jeder Lasche kleine Erhebungen vorgesehen werden, welche die Lasche in unbetätigtem Zustand von den Kontakten 2 abhebt. Die Lasche 4 greift in den Dom des Betätigungselementes 7 ein, so daß der für den Schalthub notwendige Weg zugleich als Abstand für die Schaltstrecke zwischen den Kontakten 2 und dem Gegenkontakt 5 ausgenutzt werden kann.
