Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé et un dispositif de pulvérisation d'une matière combustible solide introduite à l'intérieur d'une enceinte au moyen d'un transporteur à vis par une filière débouchant à l'intérieur de l'enceinte et dans laquelle est formé par extrusion un boudin de matière comprimée, celle-ci étant désagrégée par au moins un jet de gaz injecté sous forte pression.
Selon l'invention on injecte le gaz à partir de l'intérieur du transporteur à vis et dans l'axe de chaque filière, chaque jet gazeux ayant une impulsion suffisante pour former sensiblement un cône centré sur l'axe du boudin en s'élargis­ sant à l'intérieur de celui-ci, chaque boudin étant constitué d'un tube creux dont la paroi interne s'effrite et prend la forme du jet en libérant des particules qui sont aspirées dans le jet et introduites avec lui dans l'enceinte.
L'invention s'applique spécialement à l'alimentation d'un réacteur de gazéification.
