Claims (5)

1. Laterale Verpackung zum Gruppieren und Halten von aufeinandergestapelten Gegenständen (8, 8a ; 13, 13a), die einen Rand aufweisen, der in Schlitze eines seitlichem, mehrere durch zu den Schlitzen (7, 7a) senkrecht verlaufende Faltlinien (2) begrenzte Seiten (3, 3a) aufweisenden Bandes (1) eingreift, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das seitliche, den Umfang einer Gruppe von Gegenständen (8, 8a, 13, 13a) umgebende Band (1) mindestens zwei Reihen von parallel zueinander verlaufenden übereinander angeordneten Schlitzen (7, 7a) aufweist, wobei jede Schlitzreihe die Ecken oder Seiten (9, 9a, 14, 14a) des oberen Randes eines der in deren ursprünglicher Anordnung aufeinandergestapelten Gegenstände aufnimmt, die Gegenstände mittels ihrer in die Schlitze (7, 7a) eingreifenden Ecken oder Seiten (9, 9a, 14, 14a) eingehangen gehalten werden, die Schlitze (7, 7a) in alternierender Folge auf den Seiten (3, 3a) des Bandes angeordnet sind, und wobei das Seitenband (1) achteckig ist und acht durch Faltlinien (2) begrenzte Seiten (3, 3a) aufweist.
2. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Enden des Bandes (1) aufeinander befestigt sind, insbesondere mittels eines Sperrklinkenmechanismus (4, 5, 6), der in die Enden des Bandes eingeschnitten ist.
3. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die auf dem Band (1) vorgesehenen parallelen Schlitze (7, 7a) voneinander einen Abstand A haben, der der Höhe eines Gegenstands (8, 8a, 13, 13a) der Gruppe entspricht.
4. Verpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Band (1) Öffnungen (11, 12) aufweist, die sich über mindestens eine Seite erstrecken.
5. Verpackung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Mittel zur Befestigung der Enden des Bandes aufeinander von einem Ausschnitt an jedem Ende gebildet wird, der zwei Klappen (16, 16a, 18, 18a) aufweist, die um zwei Faltlinien (17, 17a, 19, 19a) schwenkbar sind, wobei eines der Klappenpaare (18, 18a) eine Breite L hat, die größer als die Breite des anderen Klappenpaares (16, 16a) ist, um eine Sperrverriegelung eines der Klappenpaare in dem von dem anderen Klappenpaar freigelassenen Raum zu erhalten.
