Description

The invention relates to a height-adjustable support element for supporting floor slabs or the like, which is provided at the corners of the slabs or the like, supports being provided on a foot in the form of screws which are height-adjustable independently of one another, and with blind holes in the foot having an internal thread are designed to accommodate the supports.

When laying stone, artificial stone, plastic or wood slabs for floors, the difficulty often arises that the slabs that meet at their corners can only be aligned with great effort and time-consuming work so that there are no unevenness in the floor in the area of the slab joints. It is therefore imperative that the surface of the slabs has to be prepared, taking into account that the slabs, which is often the case with natural stone slabs, can have different thicknesses. Furthermore, especially with floors made of natural or artificial stone, there is a difficulty in laying the slab in such a way that no sound bridges form, i.e. the slabs must be insulated from the subfloor on which they rest by taking suitable measures. This can be done, for example, by applying a floating screed to the load-bearing concrete ceiling, on which the floor slats are then laid. This embodiment of floors is expensive.

From DE-A-2149417 a support for open-faced coverings made of natural or plastic panels on patios, balconies or the like is known, in which spacers are screwed at one end into a base plate provided with an internal thread. The coverings are placed on the flat ends formed above the base plate. When walking on the floor, the spacers in the internal threads can move so that the alignment of the covering plates can be disturbed. Provisions for securing the set height of the supports in the base plate and for achieving impact sound insulation are not provided in these known supports.

The invention has for its object to form a support element in which the supports or spacers are secured after adjusting their height, while at the same time achieving adequate impact sound insulation.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the foot has a tube in the middle, that channels running from the underside of the tube through the foot to the bottoms of the blind holes are formed, and that an adhesive or. Through the tube and the channels in the blind holes a hardening plastic mass can be injected.

An injected adhesive rises in the blind holes between the threads of the supports and blind holes and after the adhesive has hardened in the supports, the blind holes are glued and can no longer rotate. This ensures the originally set column height. At the same time, the injected stabilization measure interrupts the sound transmission from the panels to the sub-floor and vice versa.

In an embodiment of the invention, channels extend from the bottom of the blind holes to the top of the foot, which are opposite the channels extending from the center of the foot. These channels, which end on the top of the foot, serve for ventilation during the injection of the adhesive or the stabilizing compound, so that the blind holes between the threads can be completely filled with the adhesive.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the foot can be circular and four evenly distributed supports can be arranged on the foot. A support element designed in this way can accommodate the corners of four plates which abut one another. If, in a further embodiment, the foot is a semicircle or quarter circle and two or only one support is provided on it, the underlay element can also be used in the edge region of the floor and in the corners.

Furthermore, the foot can be provided on its underside with longitudinal and / or transverse hollow webs. This measure results in a good support of the underlay element even on a not quite level sub-floor or subsurface. The base element nestles better with the underside of the foot to the surface and compensates for the unevenness better than would be possible with a foot that is smooth on the underside.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the supports can be dome-shaped at their upper end and plates can be provided on the supports, which are provided in the center on the underside with a spherical shell-shaped recess as a support. In order to better distribute the pressure on the plate corners, plates are provided between the plates and on the supports. These plates are provided with a spherical shell-shaped recess on their underside in the middle and form joints in connection with the dome-shaped upper end of the supports. Due to the rotatable mounting of the plates, these possible bumps on the underside of the plate can be better adjusted.

If it is further provided that the plates are provided with a through hole in the middle in the area of the support, the studs provided with a slot at their upper ends can be screwed in with a screwdriver the blind holes are turned without having to remove the plates.

According to preferred embodiments, the foot and the plates can be made of metal, plastic, wood or rubber.

The invention is explained below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing.

  • Fig. 3 einen Schnitt gemäss der Linie 111-111 von Fig. 2.
Show it:
  • 1 is a plan view of an area of a floor consisting of panels,
  • Fig. 2 in plan view of the corner area of four adjacent floor panels and
  • 3 shows a section along line 111-111 of FIG. 2.

Figure 1 shows a floor on which panels 10, 12, 14 and 16 are laid. In the area in which the plates 10, 12, 14 and 16 abut one another, a support element 18 is provided, on which the plates are supported with their corners.

Durch Hineinschrauben oder Herausschrauben der Stützen können unterschiedliche Plattenstärken berücksichtigt werden.FIG. 2 shows, on an enlarged scale, a top view of the corners of the plates 10, 12, 14, 16 and the support element 18. The support element 18 consists of a foot 20 which is circular in the exemplary embodiment. Blind holes 22, 24, 26 and 28 are provided in the foot 20. These blind holes are provided with an internal thread. Supports 30, 32, 34 and 36 in the form of studs are screwed into the blind holes 22, 24, 26 and 28. The supports 30, 32, 34 and 36 are dome-shaped at their upper end 38. Plates 40, 42, 44 and 46 rest on the supports. The plates are circular and have a spherical shell-shaped recess 48 on the underside in the middle. The dome-shaped upper end 38 of the supports 30, 32, 34, 36 is located in this recess 48. The recesses 48 of the plates have through bores 50 through which the slots 52 in the upper end of the supports are accessible to a screwdriver. It is therefore possible to screw the supports into the blind holes without having to remove the plates from the supports. Different plate thicknesses can be taken into account by screwing in or unscrewing the supports.

The foot 20 is provided in the middle on the surface with a tube 54 which is connected to the blind holes 22, 24, 26 and 28 via channels 56. The channels 56 run in the foot 20 obliquely from the underside of the tube 54 to the bottom of the blind holes. Opposite the channels 56 are channels 58 which, as can be seen in FIG. 3, run from the bottom of the blind holes to the top of the foot 20. These channels 58 are used to vent the blind holes. If the supports 30, 32, 34 and 36 are screwed into the blind holes according to the thickness of the plates 10, 12, 14 and 16, an adhesive 64 can be passed through the tube 54 and the channels 56 into the blind holes 22, 24, 26 and 28 or another stabilizing mass is injected. The adhesive rises in the blind holes between the external thread of the supports and the internal thread of the blind holes and thereby firmly sticks the supports in the blind holes after curing. This ensures that the supports cannot locate in the foot and that the slab is absolutely firm and even over a long period of time. At the same time, the sound transmission from the plates 10, 12, 14 and 16 to the sub-floor 60 is interrupted via this stabilizing compound or the adhesive 64.

The foot 20 is provided on its underside, as can be seen from FIG. 3, with longitudinal and / or transverse hollow webs 62. In this way, a better, more supple and uneven surface is achieved on the mostly somewhat uneven underbody 60.

Figure 1 shows in the edge area of the floor support elements 66 which are semicircular and have two supports for two adjacent plate corners.

In the corner, a support element 68, which consists of a quarter circle and has a support, is shown.

Since the space between the panels and the sub-floor can be kept free because of the arranged underlay elements and does not have to be filled, for example, with a leveling mortar, the thermal insulation of the floor panels is improved on the one hand and on the other hand the free space can be used to accommodate, for example, supply and return pipes, when the floor panels are also elements of underfloor heating.

The foot 20 and the plates 40, 42, 44 and 46 can either be made of metal, plastic, wood or rubber. The supports 30, 32, 34 and 36 can preferably be commercially available studs.
