Desweiteren kann durch unterschiedlich angezogene Farbzonenschrauben an den Messerendbereichen das unter Umständen am Ende hoch stehende Messer nicht zu einer Spaltbildung führen, aus dem bei bekannten Vorrichtungen häufig Farbe austritt. Die erfindungsgemäße Abdichtung ist somit unempfindlich gegenüber Längenänderungen von Farbkastenwalze und Farbmesser, die häufig durch Temperaturunterschiede auftreten. Durch die vorteilhafte Verwendung und Führung der Dichtung erfolgt eine optimale seitliche Abdichtung des Farbkastens, da diese Dichtung über ihre gesamte Länge auf dem Farbmesser aufliegt und somit weder das Hauptteil noch das vordere Teil selbst das Farbmesser berührt.An advantage of the ink fountain seal according to the invention is the simple assembly, since no fitting, measuring or sealing work is required. Auf einer Traverse 2 sind beidseitig Seitenwände befestigt, die senkrecht zur Achse der Farbkastenwalze 1 stehen. Jede Seitenwand besteht aus einem Hauptteil 3, der sich über die gesamte Tiefe des Farbkastens erstreckt und einem vorderen Teil 4. Der vordere Teil 4 ist im vorderen, d. h. im farbkastenwalzennahen Bereich auf der Innenseite des Hauptteils 3 parallel zu diesem angeordnet. Der Hauptteil 3 ist an der Farbkastentraverse 2 mittels Schrauben befestigbar, die in die Gewindebohrungen 5 und 6 eingedreht werden. Zur Verschraubung des vorderen Teils 4 am Hauptteil 3 dienen Zylinderschrauben 7, 8, 9 und 10. Zwischen den Seitenwänden des Farbkastens ist in herkömmlicher Weise ein Farbmesser 11 angeordnet, das in seiner Länge so bemessen ist, daß seine Seiten über die vorderen Teil 4 hinausragen (Fig. 3).Fig. 1 shows a side view of an ink fountain with an ink fountain roller 1, which forms its front boundary. In dieser Nut 12 ist eine Dichtung 13 untergebracht. Diese Dichtung 13 verläuft aus dem Hauptteil 3 im farbkastennahen Bereich heraus, da der Hauptteil 3 mit einer Ausnehmung B versehen ist. Im Bereich dieser Ausnehmung B wird die Dichtung 13 von dem Dichtungsaustritt 14 ab durch ein Klemmstück 15, das in der Ausnehmung B angeordnet ist, gegen den vorderen Teil 4 gedrückt. Für diesen Zweck sind in dem äußeren Abschlußbacken in Durchgangsgewindebohrungen Schrauben 16, 17 vorgesehen, die von Hand vorzugsweise so anziehbar sind, daß ein geringer Widerstand verspürbar ist. Da die im Hauptteil 3 eingelegte Dichtung 13 im nahen Farbkastenwalzenbereich freiliegt und gegen den vorderen Teil 4 abdichtet, wird auch der Spalt verschlossen, der durch die unterschiedlichen Winkel entsteht (Keilform des vorderen Teils 4 und des Messerwinkels), was einen weiteren Vorteil bedeutet. Die Berührungsfläche des vorderen Teils4 an der Farbkastenwalze ist vorzugsweise schmal gehalten, um stauungen verdickter Farbe zu vermeiden und um nicht zu sehr von der exakten Winkligkeit der Abschlußteile abhängig zu sein. Im Einlaufbereich des vorderen Teils4 ist die Berührungsfläche stark abgeschrägt, um eine gute Ableitung des von der Farbkastenwalze 1 mitgenommenen Farbfilms zu ermöglichen. Bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Farbkasten ist eine exakte Abdichtung unabhängig von Längenänderungen des Farbmessers 11 und der Farbkastenwalze 1 gewährleistet. Claims (6)

1.
