Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zum stumpfen Verschweißen von Starkstromleitern mit großem Querschnitt, insbesondere mit Hilfe des Doppeldruckschweißens.The invention relates to a method for the butt welding of heavy current conductors with a large cross section, in particular with the aid of double pressure welding.

Die Fertigung von elektrischen Leitungen oder Kabeln tendiert in immer stärkerem Maße zum durchgehenden Fertigungsablauf, d. h. daß mehrere Fertigungsschritte vollzogen werden. Diese sehr rationelle Methode bringt es mit sich, daß die elektrischen Leiter aufeinanderfolgender Lose stumpf miteinander verschweißt werden müssen. Dabei ist an die Verbindungsstellen bei dem derzeitigen Fertigungsbetrieb lediglich die Forderung zu stellen, daß sie allein den Belastungen (Zug) während des Herstellungsprozesses gewachsen sein muß, weil derartige Verbindungen mit wenigen Ausnahmen vor der Auslieferung der Leitung oder des Kabels herausgeschnitten werden.The production of electrical lines or cables tends to an ever increasing degree to the continuous production process, i. Mit dieser überraschend einfachen Maßnahme wird erreicht, daß der Querschnitt und damit der erforderliche Schweißstrom auf einen bestimmten maximalen Querschnitt bzw. Strom beschränkt werden kann.
