Description

The invention relates to a winding for dry-type transformers with windings provided in radially superposed layers made of a bare metallic winding conductor in a solid, cast-body-like block made of synthetic resin.

Cast resin transformers known from DE-A-2 246 235 have recently been used as dry-type transformers. With these transformers, the windings are cast in compact cast resin blocks and meet practically all loads that occur with regard to electrical and mechanical stress. The noise damping is also very cheaply solved for these transformers by means of a resilient clamping. With increasing absolute dimensions and decreasing number of pieces per nominal output, however, economical production is no longer guaranteed in this way, since in particular the costs for the casting mold have to be apportioned to an insufficient number of pieces. In addition, in the case of larger dimensions, such as are required for transformers with a nominal output of more than 1000 KVA, the relatively large absolute dimensions cause shrinkage problems in the synthetic resin layers.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a winding for dry-type transformers which meets all electrical and mechanical requirements and which, owing to its construction, can be easily produced in a wide variety of dimensions on simple devices with little effort.

According to the invention, this object is achieved for windings of the type mentioned at the outset in that the bare winding conductor is introduced into the winding assembly in parallel and together with at least one dry strip of insulating material impregnated with synthetic resin, in that at least one strip is folded at least twice parallel to the winding conductor in that an inner winding cylinder, layer insulation and an outer winding cylinder are also wound from the dry strip impregnated with synthetic resin and that the turns of the bare winding conductor and the strips of insulating material are baked into a block by the synthetic resin cured after impregnation of the winding process.

Nachteilig ist bei dieser Lösung das unter anderem giftige und umweltschädliche flüssige Stoffe einzusetzen sind, deren Verarbeitung mit erheblichen Einschränkungen und Auflagen verbunden ist.DE-A-2 924 191 proposes to solve this problem alternately a void-free layer of a slurry of insulating material which is viscous during the winding process and a layer of the winding are applied alternately to an inner supporting cylinder made of insulating material, the individual turns of the layers of the Winding can be pressed into the soft layer radially below them by adjusting the winding tension accordingly. The disadvantage of this solution is that, among other things, toxic and environmentally harmful liquid substances are to be used, the processing of which is associated with considerable restrictions and requirements.

From DE-A-2402149 a binder-impregnated, dry carrier is known for use in twist conductors, but can only be used together with insulating paper or plastic film. This known stranded conductor design gives the stranded conductor approximately the mechanical properties of a solid conductor in the finished winding. For the design of the winding as such, however, this twisted pair version does not provide any information.

According to expedient developments of the winding according to the invention, a strip of fabric is stretchable at least in the longitudinal direction, the individual threads of which lie obliquely to the longitudinal direction, and a winding of a synthetic resin strand which is approximately the same as the winding conductor is wrapped in front of both ends of each layer. The ends of the winding conductor are galvanically connected with connecting plates which protrude outwards into the outer winding cylinder.

According to advantageous embodiments of the invention, it is provided that the curing temperature of the synthetic resin is equal to the temperature resistance of the strip and that the folded strip is folded in opposite directions at a distance from the winding conductor height and is Z-shaped in cross section.

The winding according to the invention is very advantageous because it can be produced in a simple and harmless manner and, moreover, is able to withstand all the forces which occur on and in the winding during assembly and operation. In addition, the creation of the winding according to the invention is also economical because no complex shapes and only relatively short set-up times are required for this.

  • Fig. 2 eine erfindungsgemäße Wicklung mit U-förmig abgekanteten Streifen;
An embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail with reference to a drawing.
  • Fig. 1 shows an axially parallel section through a winding according to the invention with Z-shaped strips and
  • 2 shows a winding according to the invention with a U-shaped folded strip;
  • Fig. 3 is a perspective view of a winding face on a smaller scale.

Corresponding parts are provided with the same reference symbols in all figures.

An inner winding cylinder 2 made of strips 3 is arranged around an axis 1. The strips 3 are made of insulating material and additionally impregnated with synthetic resin. However, they are dry at room temperature.

A layer 4 of a winding conductor 8 with a bright metallic surface is wound onto the inner winding cylinder 2. When arranging 1, when winding onto the winding, this winding conductor 8 lies in the lower angle of a strip 3 bent to a Z-shape in cross section.

Each layer of the winding conductor 8 is followed by a layer insulation 5 also made of strips 3. The layer insulation 5 serves in a known manner as a base for the following layer 4. To improve the mechanical strength of the winding body according to FIG. 1, there is 4 at both ends in each layer one strand 11 of synthetic resin is also wrapped.

The ends 7 of the winding conductor 8 are galvanically connected from the inside with bolts 10 in connection plates 9, which are preferably wrapped between the uppermost layer 4 and an outer winding cylinder 6. The bolt 10 is guided outward in approximately the radial direction.

In the winding according to FIG. 2, instead of strips having a Z-shaped cross section, 3 U-shaped strips are introduced into the winding assembly simultaneously with the winding conductor 8. Here, too, the lowermost layer 4 lies on an inner winding cylinder 2 and insulations 5 are provided between successive layers. The inner winding cylinder 2, the layer insulation 5 and a likewise attached outer winding cylinder 6 are shown, as in the arrangement according to FIG. 1, of strips 3 made of insulating material soaked with synthetic resin.

Following the winding of the winding conductor 8 together with the strips 3, the winding is heated, whereby the synthetic resin located in the strips 3 softens to such an extent that the synthetic resin impregnations of adjacent strips 3 run into one another and form a uniform solid body after the re-hardening. In this way, a block-like winding body is created practically without additional aids, in particular without a casting mold, in which the winding conductor 8 is firmly clamped and which is very well suited for absorbing the clamping forces for the winding as a whole.
